Rey vs Cavendish

Rey clothes are tattered and one could see multiple slash wounds on his body but they are not deep enough to affect him.

Rey swiftly sped towards the area Hakuba was crashed, he knows it's the best chance to finish off his opponent.

But, something which Rey didn't expect happened, Cavendish came out of the debris taking control of Hakuba.

Even so, Rey didn't give any chance for Cavendish to explain and straight away attacked him. He knows the danger of Hakuba so he doesn't want to encounter any mishap.

Likewise, Cavendish also didn't bother to explain as he already knows what Hakuba has done. He blocked Rey's attack using his Rapier, Durandal which is one of Meito.

"You are found guilty for murdering countless innocent people and disrupting the peace of the Kingdom so obediently surrender and come with me to accept your punishment."

"Haha, Marine, if you have the ability, come and capture me," Cavendish smirked.

Rey dashed at Cavendish by using 'Soru' and punched at him. Cavendish could feel the fist contained a terrifying power so he skillfully evaded the attack.

He dare not meet the attack head-on which contained Rey's full power. Rey also sensed Cavendish has an extremely high level of skill in swordsmanship and a high degree of physical strength which is not less than his.

Rey cursed the people of One Piece world, as most of them have inhuman physical strength from birth without even need for any training while he has to train like hell to attain his current power.

Even though Cavendish is not as powerful as Hakuba, he is a powerful opponent. Moreover, even if he wins the fight, there's a high chance that Hakuba will appear again.

Cavendish shoved his rapier at Rey with great force while Rey blocked the attack with his staff. The clash between Rey and Cavendish created a small shock wave from this one could see how powerful both of them are.

Rey held the upper hand as he punched at his opponent using his other hand but it was easily evaded by Cavendish.

Evading Rey's punch, Cavendish does a flip over and attacked Rey from above giving him no choice to retreat.

The battle continued between Rey and Cavendish for almost fifteen minutes with no result. Even so, cavendish could sense his opponent is purposely wearing him out.

Defeating Cavendish is easy for Rey as his opponent was not as powerful as he was in the series. But if he defeats Cavendish, Hakuba will take over his body which is something Rey doesn't want to see.

Rey rushed at Cavendish to finish him off before he could call Hakuba but it was too late. He thought Cavendish hated bequeathing his body to Hakuba but look like he's wrong.

Before Rey could retreat, Hakuba slashed at him with lightning speed attacks; Even though Rey blocked some attacks, many cut wounds appeared on his body.

'Fu*k! What should I do now?' Rey thought. To deal with Hakuba, he was left with only one option, which is using his Energy burst mode.

His entire body is covered in multiple slash wounds, while his clothes are torn and tainted with his dripping blood.

"I am going to chop your entire body, Marine." Hakuba viciously spoke and streaked towards Rey with the rapier in his hands.

Rey knows he's not a match for Hakuba so without further thinking, he activated his energy burst mode to confront Hakuba.

Soon, Rey's entire strength multiplied while a white aura begins to emanate from his body. Both Rey and Hakuba clashed, their weapons generated a booming sound upon contact flinging everything around them.

Rey used his entire strength on the attack, unable to block the attack Hakuba was tossed high in the air.

Before Hakuba could respond, a fist punched at his face. Hakuba tried to block the attack using his sword but the fist carried Rey's entire strength.

Unable to block Rey's attack, Hakuba was sent flying away. He got smashed into the nearby building while hacking the mouthful of blood.

Even so, Hakuba cruelly smiled not revealing a painful expression by the injury. "I am going to rip you to shreds."

Rey and Hakuba clashed once again, even though Rey gained an upper hand on the clash, he wasn't able to land a solid hit on Hakuba.

His opponent is endowed with a tremendous speed which is something Rey wasn't able to cope even after opening his energy burst mode.

The only change, now Hakuba was also not able to do anything to Rey. But the problem is Time, once Rey's energy burst mode ends then no one knows what would happen.

At the same time, Cavendish is also Human so Hakuba can't keep on fighting.

The intense fight between Hakuba and Rey continued, most of Rey's strike was blocked by Hakuba but one or two landed on his opponent dealing heavy damage.

But Hakuba was like a mindless freak without any pain only set on chopping Rey into multiple pieces.

Rey was also injured by Hakuba's strike, he lost a lot of blood but thanks to his physique he was able to fight till now.

He knows, if it goes on like this he may very well lose his life but Rey has no choice right now. He tried to finish the fight before he exhausts his pure energy but his opponent's speed is overwhelming.

After 5 minutes, Rey eventually lost his Energy burst mode, exhausted and weakened to his knees, unable to stand due to the prize for using it.

"Is this the end?" Rey tried to stand up and saw Hakuba speedily charging toward him. He drew out every ounce of energy inside his body and tried to block the slash of Hakuba.

But before he could lift his staff, a large slash wound appeared on his body from the left shoulder to his abdomen.

Surprisingly, he wasn't able to feel the slightest bit of pain even from such life-threating wound and he began to wonder, 'I guess it's how it feels when one's in death bed- cold and indifferent.'

Rey's eyes began to lose its brightness and from the corner of his eyes, he saw Hakuba charging towards him once again.

Something inside his mind started to scream, 'You can't close your eyes, otherwise, you won't be able to open it agin. Get up! Get up!'

From nowhere a surge of strength fueled his whole body, Rey roared and sprang on his feet and blocked the attack of Hakuba with every last bit of his strength.

The clash was powerful, both Rey and Hakuba took a few steps backward because of the impact. Rey lost his consciousness and collapsed on the ground.

The same happened to Hakuba as he also dropped to the ground, motionless but one could hear faint snoring from cavendish with a bubble in his nose.
