Devour the predator
"What is this"? Razan growls holding the remains of his severed right arm.
"This is me about to kill you dumbass" Kevin calmly states as he walks towards him, his body crackling with power.
He charges toward Razan, who barely manages to grab his blade and defend himself.
"Where are you getting this power from?" Razan asked as he stared at Kevin confused.
He suddenly gets pushed back as the electricity that's coming off of Kevin's body travels through his sword and briefly stuns him, though that was more than enough time for Kevin to get behind Razan and deliver a flurry of slashes on his back.
Razan growls in pain and releases more mana blades forcing Kevin to momentarily retreat, and after disappearing for a brief moment he reappears in front of Kevin swinging his blade.
Kevin, twisting his body, manages to not only avoid the attack but also launch a counterattack of his own leaving a deep gash across Razan's chest.
Razan tries to back off but Kevin keeps on him, their bodies blur around the area as they exchange blows.
Knocking Kevin away Razan finally stops to catch his breath.
"What in the name of the morning star is happening right now?" He huffs, gasping slightly.
"You're merely human children, HOW ARE YOU THIS STRONG!!"
He roars his mana surging once more.
"That doesn't matter," Kevin says breathing heavily.
Looking at him closely I could see that he was starting to look worn out.
"I don't understand" I mumbled to myself.
"Kevin's winning right now but he doesn't look so good"
I focus on the mana inside his body and see that it's moving in the same way but much faster and with way more power.
"There isn't a problem with the amount of mana he has, what's happening?"
I copy Kevin's mana flow and I immediately feel an amazing amount of power fill my body, but at the same time, my body is also hit with a bunch of pain to the point that I almost scream.
I stopped copying the mana flow and caught my breath my muscles were shaking and I was covered in sweat.
This power wasn't even half of what Kevin was using and yet it almost wrecked my body, I looked over at Kevin and noticed his nose as well as his eyes starting to bleed.
(I have to do something)
I try to get up but my body doesn't respond, I'm exhausted, my left arm is broken, and my entire body is covered in bruises and cuts, and I guess copying that mana flow in this condition wasn't the best idea.
Kevin coughs and wobbles slightly and Razan, noticing this smiles.
"It seems like this battle is reaching its end child." He sneers.
" Although I will admit I never thought a human could ever push me this far," he exclaims while looking at the damage done to his body.
"Allow me to show you true despair before you die here,"
As he says this razan's body starts to change, his eyes turn pitch black as his body grows larger and more beast-like, and as his armor breaks off of his growing body a large symbol grows over his right side and chest.
His horns grew longer and more jagged, his face changed and twisted into that of a feral beast and his hair which was once black with a white streak turned fully white and shaggy like a mane.
The arm that was severed extends and twists into a single point turning his right arm into a grotesquely twisted lance made of flesh and bone.
" H̶̪͍̒ͥ͑̓E̸̖̪̱͚ͨ̀͜ H̶̪͍̒ͥ͑̓E̸̖̪̱͚ͨ̀͜ H̶̪͍̒ͥ͑̓E̸̖̪̱͚ͨ̀͜" Razan laughs,
His voice seems to echo from within his body, sounding as if he's talking in between the whispers of hundreds.
"W̸͈ͯ̾̒̿h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢ă̶̸̝ͦ͊̿͋͞t̴͕͖͓̀ ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟ḻ̸͈ͧ͑̓̓̀͡ḻ̸͈ͧ͑̓̓̀͡ y̯̤͑́́̓́ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚û̶͙̽̿͆̈ d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ n̷̶̯͉̊̽̐ͦ͘ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒"?
He gloats as he looks down on us releasing a wave of magic that I couldn't even begin to comprehend.
My body begins to freeze up and shake in fear as he looks at me with eyes that show no light, just blackness.
"N̰̜͉͔ͬ̽͢ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚, ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢ă̶̸̝ͦ͊̿͋͞t̴͕͖͓̀ C̸̣̭͖̤̒̈͊͟Ȧ̶̵̗̳N̰̜͉͔ͬ̽͢ y̯̤͑́́̓́ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚û̶͙̽̿͆̈ d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚?"
He slowly starts walking towards me ignoring Kevin entirely and as he does Kevin suddenly vanishes reappearing in front of Razan and launching dozens of blows, each one charged with electricity.
Every strike lands as Razan just stands there and lets it happen.
After the smoke clears Razan is still standing unharmed and Kevin's sword is left shattered, looking down at Kevin he grabs him by his head and picks him up.

He said as he squeezed Kevin's head in his palm.

He tosses Kevin in the air and uses his left hand to knock him aside with enough strength to smash a boulder.
I hear a loud crack as Kevin is sent flying and smashes into the earth, Razan charges a massive ball of mana and lobs it at Kevin while he's down and it connects, burying itself and him deeper into the ground.
All I could do was helplessly stare at the crater where my brother once was.
I stare at the creature that killed my brother and realize I'm no longer afraid.
I am angry.
I want to hurt him.
I want to kill him.

I growl through gritted teeth picking up my knives as I force myself to stand up and walk towards Razan.
My left arm is still broken so I tuck one of the knives into my belt
I focus on everything that I have and find his mana flow and copy it, the energy it creates feels gross and evil.
But it was calling to me, and it's making him stronger so wouldn't it make me stronger as well?

I respond my voice echoing sounding as if I'm speaking through the whispers of thousands.
I couldn't tell if my appearance changed or not but I felt an incredible power well up and overflow as I continued to copy his mana flow

Razan stepped back uncertainty, confusion, and nervousness show on his face.
"W̸͈ͯ̾̒̿h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢y̯̤͑́́̓́ d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ y̯̤͑́́̓́ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚û̶͙̽̿͆̈ h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢ă̶̸̝ͦ͊̿͋͞v̸̵̝͙͆̈ͤę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊ t̴͕͖͓̀h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟s̩͙͖̋͛͟ p̶̸̨̺͊̍̒̓̀ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊r̶̷̲͍̭͐̾̀͟"?

He roars at me flaring his mana once more.
"T̷̫͉̰͕̒́h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟s̩͙͖̋͛͟ i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟s̩͙͖̋͛͟ h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒ y̯̤͑́́̓́ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚û̶͙̽̿͆̈ d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊"
I respond as I appear behind him, hacking and slashing away at his enormous body.
He turns around, swinging his massive right arm in the process, the tip of his arm slices through the air and doesn't connect with anything, as I duck his slash and move closer to him using my good arm to deliver multiple stabs to his stomach and chest.
Razan tries to grab me with his left hand but I jump past it, dealing a slash to his chest and shoulder as I do.
I grab one of his horns and swing myself onto his shoulders. I feel a sharp pain in my left arm and I briefly glance at it and notice the bone resetting itself.
"C̸̣̭͖̤̒̈͊͟ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ḻ̸͈ͧ͑̓̓̀͡,"
I say as I grip both knives in my hands, I use them to cut my arms and watch as the blades absorb the blood. They glow a bright reddish color and as they do I feel my strength increase a little bit more.
I pause to take a deep breath and then proceed to slash wildly at the top of Razan's head and eyes.
He roars in pain and uses his right arm to stab at me, using my knives I manage to block the attack but it pushes me a few dozen feet into the air.
I charged my knives with mana, as Kevin did earlier with his sword, and slashed down at Razan creating several blades of magic that he quickly blocked with his right arm.
"T̷̫͉̰͕̒́H̶̪͍̒ͥ͑̓Ȧ̶̵̗̳T̷̫͉̰͕̒́S̵̶̮̬͖̄͑͟ N̰̜͉͔ͬ̽͢O̵̷̪̰ͩ͆ͅT̷̫͉̰͕̒́ E̸̖̪̱͚ͨ̀͜N̰̜͉͔ͬ̽͢O̵̷̪̰ͩ͆ͅU̸̫̠̰͈̕G̛͔͇̞̹̈̀͘͘͟H̶̪͍̒ͥ͑̓,"!! He roars.
He readies his stance and points the tip of his right arm directly at me charging up a massive amount of mana as he prepares to thrust his lance.
Suddenly, Razan is blasted from the side with a beam of energy sending him flying and crashing into the ground.
"I'M NOT DONE YET!!" Kelvin roars at Razan.
As I land Kevin appears next to me, his body crackling chaotically with energy and his hair and eyes glowing bright blue.
"Y̵̷̛̤͍̅́̕ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚û̶͙̽̿͆̈ ḻ̸͈ͧ͑̓̓̀͡ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚k̶̸͙̭̹͆͟ ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟r̶̷̲͍̭͐̾̀͟d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜" I joked as I stretched my body.
"The fuck's wrong with your voice," he asked in confusion as he looks over my new appearance.
"I̶̴̗̗̦͍ͨͭ̉͢͟ d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚n̷̶̯͉̊̽̐ͦ͘t̴͕͖͓̀ k̶̸͙̭̹͆͟n̷̶̯͉̊̽̐ͦ͘ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒" I shrug my shoulders.
"K̦̖̙̱̮̐̌i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟n̷̶̯͉̊̽̐ͦ͘d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜ă̶̸̝ͦ͊̿͋͞ t̴͕͖͓̀i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟c̷̹͖͋́̃k̶̸͙̭̹͆͟ḻ̸͈ͧ͑̓̓̀͡ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊s̩͙͖̋͛͟ t̴͕͖͓̀h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚û̶͙̽̿͆̈g̴̶̛̮̣͙͠h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢"
"Your hair is white and your eyes are black"
He says, giving me a strange look.
I just shrugged my shoulders again and we both turned our attention to Razan.
We rush in and attack him, both of us reenergized by sudden boosts in power.
Razan swings his lance-like arm which I jump over and Kevin slides under, he grabs me out of the air and throws me to the side as Kevin takes out his right leg bringing him down to one knee with his right arm pierced into the earth, Kevin tries to follow through with an uppercut but is grabbed and slammed into the ground.
I managed to reach them before he could crush Kevin and slash him across the left side of his face, moving as fast as possible I turned around and slashed him across the stomach once more to get his back.
Kevin, having freed himself after Razan loosened his grip from my assault, focuses his magic into his fists and hits him with a barrage of attacks that land squarely on his body knocking him back dozens of feet.
"Y̵̷̛̤͍̅́̕O̵̷̪̰ͩ͆ͅU̸̫̠̰͈̕. W̸͈ͯ̾̒̿I̶̴̗̗̦͍ͨͭ̉͢͟L̳͈͉̅̊L̳͈͉̅̊. Ḋ̤͇̮͙ͥI̶̴̗̗̦͍ͨͭ̉͢͟E̸̖̪̱͚ͨ̀͜"!!
Razan roars in rage as he pushes his power to its limits, his wounds slowly healing as he does.
"N̰̜͉͔ͬ̽͢ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚t̴͕͖͓̀ t̴͕͖͓̀h̶̯̰̝̻̿̓͢i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟s̩͙͖̋͛͟ t̴͕͖͓̀i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟m̶̷͔ͪ̽͡ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊".
I growl as I also boost my magic to the limit and move fast enough to get above him without him noticing.
As he roars he tilts his head up, his eyes are closed from the release of his power so he doesn't even see me as I stab into both of his eyes with my blades, he bellows out in pain and tries to grab me but Kevin jumps past, intercepts his arm and drags him to the ground and kept Razan's left arm in place with a joint lock.
As Razan lands on his back he flails around blindly, nearly stabbing Kevin with his lance arm but I manage to kick it hard enough to change its trajectory and make him stab himself in the chest instead.
But despite the multiple wounds on his body Razan refused to give up as he began to pull his arm from his chest.
I jumped on top of him and pushed the arm deeper using all of my strength.
He growls in pain and charges a mana sphere in his mouth and I barely manage to dodge it.
"JUST FUCKING DIE ALREADY" Kevin roared as his body began to glow brightly.
I scan his energy and see that he's draining Razan's magic, as he does I notice that his energy is increasing as a result.
I look at the flow of power for a second before I start to copy it moving my energy in the same way and as I do I feel Razan's power seeping into my body.
At first, it threatens to take over, but I force it to obey and become my power, I don't care if it's evil, if doing this kills this monster then fine.
Razan struggles and kicks trying to free himself as his power is being taken, he tries to form another mana sphere but it disappears before it can fully form as he is running out of mana very fast.
"Ŗ̴̪̈̄͞-r̶̷̲͍̭͐̾̀͟ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊ḻ̸͈ͧ͑̓̓̀͡ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊ă̶̸̝ͦ͊̿͋͞s̩͙͖̋͛͟ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊ m̶̷͔ͪ̽͡ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊" he snarled.
"F̵̦̺͕́̐͟U̸̫̠̰͈̕C̸̣̭͖̤̒̈͊͟K̦̖̙̱̮̐̌ YOU"!
Kevin and I screamed in unison as we drained his magic faster and faster.
As we did Razan's transformation started to come undone, his body reverting to its normal state as he continued to fight and struggle until he eventually stopped moving entirely.
I scan his body and see the last of his magic get drained out by Kevin and me as his body finally goes completely limp.
"Fucking finally," Kevin groans as we pass out.
