Training Again?

As Red snores in his bed, a verbal war of attrition was happening just outside his room. Voices of different people from different walks of life, all screaming like 5 year old kids.

"HE'S MEANT FOR WAR!"

"NO! HE'S MEANT FOR HEALING! HE'S A GENIUS!"

"Uhm, he's still our so-"

"SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!"

The General from earlier, who was leading the war between the Elves and Humans, is currently sitting on a chair. His fingers were pinching the space in between his brows as another headache was starting to form for him.

"I'm telling you, Truyle, and also Lilith, that the kid HAS to become a warrior, he's basically made for war! Have you seen his fight earlier?! That's the raw talent that's been missing in this city's forces! He has a high chance of reaching Lieutenant when he's 15!"

He said in all but a single breath, as he gazed intensely at the two women, who were both clenching their fists.

"He may be a great warrior, but that's only because of his magic! He's just going to be the army's gunpowder when time comes! He's not meant to become a warrior who has to waste his magical aptitude to please your inconveniences!" Truyle snapped back, glaring at the 'incompetent fool' in front of her.

Lilith decided to stand up and entered the room of Red, not even adding a comment to the heated conversation. It will only fuel the flames anyways, so she entered the current resting chambers of Red.

When she entered, she saw Red sleeping peacefully. She smiled, maybe it was an illusion but she saw her son as a grown man for a split second.

She shook her head and kissed her child's forehead, waking him up.

"Nn? Mom? Why- why are you here?" He asked groggily, testament to him being actually asleep. Truyle smiled, 'this boy is too innocent'

"Son, if you were given the chance, would you rather be a brave warrior or a mighty mage?" She asked as if she was going to tell a very fascinating tale.

Red pondered over her words, but soon smiled brightly at her, and replied "A Mage! Atleast, I won't have to sacrifice my life in the frontlines! I could save so many people and protect those that I love even without being there!"

She could only helplessly smile at his reply, she was satisfied.

"Go back to sleep, we'll be waiting for you."

She left the room, with a bit of sadness in her steps, as she emerged to the reception area where Truyle and the General were still having a battle of wits.

"Mage-hood. He has chosen on being a magic wielder." She said in a calm but loud voice.

The two stopped, but before long Truyle was grinning happily and started to tease the General.

"Ha! Sucks to be you, Vrehun! I got the kid!" She laughed mightily but stopped when she noticed something peculiar.

Lilith had tears in her eyes as she stared intensely at both Vrehun and her. She inhaled deeply and bowed before them.

"PLEASE TAKE CARE OF MY SON!"

That made both of them stop and stare at her. They didn't know what she meant, nor could they understand the underlying cause. So Truyle decided to ask her what the matter was, but before she could speak, she noticed a dark mark at the base of Lilith's neck.

"No... don't tell me..." Truyle whispers as she touches the mark, feeling the cold and sharp sensation it released.

"T..that actual devil did it... I.. I can't believe this!" Truyle said as she tried to remove the mark, but before she could start, Flored's hands grabbed hers, as he shook his head.

"They said that if we keep him, they'll only make our punishments worse, and if we tried to remove it, they'll reattach it once more. It's no use Truyle, I think they know already."

She couldn't believe it, the actions they did in the dark couldn't be exposed! She felt that someone was intentionally antagonizing the kid and his parents, but they couldn't stop the Kingdom from doing as they pleased.

"Fine. I'll make sure to watch him, and once he grows into a fine man, he'll free you both. Trust me."

Lilith and Flored nodded. They both left without a trace of doubt in their faces, but once they reached their dangerous abode, Lilith began crying in extreme pain and heartbreak.

Meanwhile...

Red stared at Truyle in shock and fear.

"T..they a..abandon..ned m..me?" Red asked in confusion, confused what anything means.

Truyle stared at him before looking away, guilt flashing past her eyes before disappearing, replaced by determination.

"You'll stay with me, until you're fifteen. After that, you'll have to leave and learn how to survive. Don't worry, I'll be here." Truyle said with an almost melancholic smile.

Red felt something was wrong, so he didn't hesitate to speak up to Truyle.

"What actually happened?" He asked seriously, staring at Truyle in determination. Truyle could only sigh and lean closer to him.

"They are in a dangerous position right now, and you being with them only endangers them more. You have to stay with me for as long as I can keep you, and then you'll have to leave, to gather forces or to raise your prowess in field, and fight back." She said with conviction. Red stared back at her, nodded, and asked what he has to do.

"First, you'll have to train on gathering mana into your body, and then you'll have to learn the way of Healing. Every few days, General Vrehun will guide you in your swordsmanship or any type of physical weapon. He will also train your body to become tougher, to withstand more blows. We'll guide you, but don't sweat over the details too much."

Red felt raging. First, it was his parents who were being threatened, but by who, he didn't know. Then, he needed to train once more, but this time, it's on multiple weapons!

«When can I have peace in my messy lives?!»

Red sighed and nodded to Truyle, before they started to enter an underground chamber.

"What are we doing here?" Red asked, a bit confused. Truyle glanced at him before replying. "The Meditation Chamber. You'll need to get near the world's heart to access more mana."

Red acknowledged her words, and so they descended the long winding stairs. Details of mythical beasts adorned the walls throughout the candle-lit journey.

Red stared at some beasts that filled the staircase's walls. There was a giant boar with flames coming out of its mouth and embers lit it's tusks. A Serpent that had leaves growing out of its body faced the boar, and a Seal who held sharp clams faced the serpent from its side.

Red muttered to himself as he witnessed more and more beasts. In a section of the wall there faced a Dragon, a Frog, and a Turtle. In another was a Crocodile, a Four-legged plant creature, and a beast that resembled a crocodile but had flames coming out of its body.

«This can't be.... These are pocket monsters, right?! Where's the lawsuits! I didn't know Nineteneleven would allow this!»

«But then again, this IS another world, so maybe they do exist.»

"Hey, Truyle? What are these creatures?" Red questioned as he looked past the pokemanz whilst they descended.

"Before teaching you of these ancient beasts, I have to tell you a story of the first Incarnate. Long ago, in a small shelter in the corner of a starving village, a couple had given birth to a new child. They said that this child released light, one like the sun, as stars appeared above the house, illuminating the area."

«Is this the story of Baby Jesus' birth?! Wait, they said in "the corner of a small village" so maybe not»

"Then, this boy started to create miracles! He never threw a tantrum and was always patient. One day, when a weary traveler asked for shelter in that house, the boy decided that he will accompany the traveler. Of course, his parents refused, but he snuck out and joined the traveler anyways,"

«Naughty kid but ok. Atleast he wasn't a headache when he was a child»

"In their travels, it was said that the boy imparted knowledge to this traveler, and when the traveler returned to his village, he immediately protested about their system, and said suggestions no one would have guessed or thought about! The Village Chief tried to silence him off, but all of the Chief's men disappeared!"

«Is this a story of a hero or a horror story? What's with the suspense?»

"Later on, they found out that the traveler didn't place a finger on the chief's men, the kid did! The kid demanded the chief to step down his throne if he can't listen to his people's wishes, and so, the first kingdom was created under the rule of the new King. His ruling might was so powerful and undefeatable that other villages were annexed and became part of their growing kingdom.

"With this child who became his royal advisor, he grew in fame and power, over ruling every other kingdom in both intelligence and manpower. So when the now grown kid asked for a library to be set up, the king complied in a heartbeat. There, legacies were passed down by said advisor. History was recorded and Myths began to be solidified in paper. Then, one night, the teen decided to paint marvelous images of beasts that exuded terrible might that no one, not even the king himself, could see these paintings. The teen described it to them so that they can recreate it to pass to people, and so, the legendary might of these beasts the advisor called 「Power Beasts」was born."

Truyle ended her narrative with a side glance, only to see Red spacing out.

«Holy shit, don't tell me that someone actually painted Pokemon but no one could see it so it was twisted to become these weird ass beasts?!»

"Red? We have arrived." Truyle called him out, and he snapped back, staring at the wooden door in front of them. It had a dog head handle, and when Truyle twisted the head, the door slowly caved in, showing two paths.

"Go to the left one. I'll be waiting for you."

Truyle instructed and Red did as he was asked. Slowly entering through the left path, only to see never ending darkness.

He gulped and slowly tread down the path, as the only thing in his mind was,

«Someone else reincarnated here before me!»

Someone's Perspective

(+18 language :p)

«Fucking Shit! How the hell did that fuckers fail again?! They are nothing but incompetent fools! I gave them an entire array to work with, but they failed to stop one kid!»

The figure thrashed in his seat as his eyes expressed intense rage, concubines and sluts surrounding him, pampering him. He bit onto a fruit that was offered to him as he stared at the kneeling figure in front of him.

"You are saying that they didn't keep the child? THEN WHERE THE HELL IS HE?!" He shouted as he groped the breast besides him.

"My Lord, we are unable to locate or divinate his location." It replied as it lowered it's head more.

The figure sitting on its seat seethed with rage, as he swatted the wh*res around him. He approached the kneeling figure, grabbed it by the head, and threw it across the room. The figure passed through several walls as a groan was heard.

"Next time, don't dare approach me with a failed result. Only come to me when you actually have a proper answer. AND NO IS NOT A PROPER ANSWER!"

The thrown figure slowly got up from the rubble and disappeared, leaving the man and the concubines alone in the room.

"Now, where was I. Oh yeah, contact the elves, tell them I'm cancelling the agreement priorhand. AND GET ME SOME TIGHTER HOLES! THESE SLUTS ARE GETTING USED TO ME AND THEY DON'T SATISFY ME ANYMORE!"

A dashing figure in red appeared in the room and bowed before the man.

"Affirmative, my lord." It replied as it disappeared quickly.

The man ordered the sluts to form a line in front of him, as he started to break their bones and cripple them one by one to relieve his stress.

«Aah, nothing like the screams of agony~»
