A Difference in Opinion

In a small village on the planet, there were various natives moving to and fro, one group, in particular, was currently out in the wilderness. As they were hunting for resources one of the recon teams led by Momo spotted them from a distance.

"There are natives ahead, what should we do?" the student that asked this was the Cerealian lookout named Flin, "There is a small group of 17 all doing various tasks, they seem to be collecting food and other things."

Momo stood there and reality hit her for the first time that she was in charge of lives, not only the people on her recon team but the lives of the Natives that they encountered as well. 'Lord Zero says he is using this to develop our talents but it honestly feels like he is giving us just enough rope to hang ourselves with. There are 3 options here if we make contact: 1) Capture one for information while killing the rest. That one is risky, one of them has a power level similar to mine while the others are not far off. If it comes down to it I could fuse with the Zarboinan and the Kainko we have in the squad, but that's if they allow it.

2) Try to establish friendly relations. This seems great on paper but in practice could be our downfall. We don't know anything about this species, like the Saiyans or the Hera. They could be aggressive, willing to fight anything they don't understand or perceive as a threat, which would lead us back to option 1.

3) Observe them from a distance and track down their village, after reporting back to Lord Zero for further instruction. This is the safest and best option.'

Looking at Flin she collected her thoughts, "Just observe them for now, we will keep our distance then follow them back to their village."

"Understood."

On another portion of the Planet, another Recon team leader chose option number one.

Epoxy looked at the Aliens and scoffed, "These primitive creatures." wearing the standard Kainko uniform she looked on in disgust, once off the ship she let her hair flow freely down her back as she held onto her Cerealian scout's shoulder to get a better view of what she was seeing. Placing her hand on the hilt of her sword which looked like a Spatha. "Kill all of them except one, we will bring it back to lord Zero."

With a flash she arrived in front of one of the Aliens, coating her blade with ki she sliced straight through its neck spraying orange blood all over its comrades. The remaining ones looked on in shock as Epoxy made her next move.

TING

When she swung her sword it made contact with something seemingly metallic only to see her blade connect with the forearm of one of the aliens. Her eyes went wide as she withdrew putting distance between them, "He's stronger than the rest, Gaz what's its power level?" she said, looking at the Namekian child to her left who was wearing a scouter.

"1.9 Billion." Her pupils turned to pinpoints when she heard that number not out of fear but pure excitement. Her aura raged as she began her transformation, "Finally, someone I don't need to hold back on." Her hair stood on its ends as her jet black hair flickered and turned a pink shade similar to Goku Black's Super Saiyan Rose.

Back on the Flagship Zero was seated in the control room monitoring each team, when he saw what Epoxy was doing he stood up from his seat, "Ho? I didn't think that other hybrid children had achieved the ascended form. What is her power multiplier?" Zero turned to one of the engineers off to the side and asked.

"Her power level rose from 87 million to 1.04 billion, the multiplier seems to be 12 times. But the numbers are slowly increasing."

"This is amazing, this mission will also be one of the opportunities we have to see the fruits of our south Galaxy alliance ripen. Many of the citizens of those worlds see the mixing of the species as nothing more than an abomination that would never occur in nature, while that is true the Tuffles worked hard to make the impossible possible. These children are our future, their power means the survival of all Planets within the alliance. While I do not agree with the way she is going about encountering these new creatures, everyone has their own way of dealing with things and maybe her approach will complete our plans the fastest."

Sitting back down in his chair, Zero looked on with analytic eyes as he watched the leader of the recon team raise her power to the maximum, 'This child is a product of my meddling, a Kainko-Glass people hybrid. If this was modern-day earth from my original universe people would call her a miracle child born from the impossible. My influence on Universe 7 will remain throughout history forever changing the timeline which is why I needed to pull back before I lose the only advantage that I have, my knowledge of the future.' Looking down at his hands Zero clenched his fists as he felt the power held within him.

'I am no longer the low-talent Frost Demon I was from birth but my power is still insufficient to move about without worry.' Looking back at Epoxy he watched as her aura grew and the rage within her was released, 'She doesn't know how to control that power just yet, this will be a good test for her as well as a good opportunity for her to tame her power. That aggression is a nice trait to have but it can also cloud your judgment.'

Back on the ground Epoxy stood across from the natives in her new form, without wasting any time she grabbed her sword and coated it in ki before changing at the Native with a speed that the other members of her group couldn't follow.

Arriving in front of the creature she swung her sword with strength and precision comparable to a master, the creature blocked with its forearm. Dust and debris were kicked up from the impact, and the blade that was once successfully defended against seeped into the metallic skin as a smile appeared on Epoxy's lips.

Noticing he was at a disadvantage the Native used his other arm to attack, its expression still calm and collected as if the arm being sliced was nothing more than another tool to inflict harm. Noticing the incoming attack Epoxy pulled the sword out and parried, creating distance between the two before speeding back in, this time she came from a different angle launching a kick towards the back left of the head.
