The first one to wake up the next would be Xiao Fan who ran outside at the break of dawn mostly to find more Greenfalke flowers and other materials to craft bandages.

And this time Xiao Fan felt like he could inspect everything he wanted, and a lot did he want to check as every shrub and plant was examined by him.

Xiao Fan's yearn for more knowledge was getting the best of him currently as the man was checking every single grass leaf while forgetting everything else.

Yet he didn't find much, but not because of Cao Cao playing tricks with him.

Cao Cao had left to who knows where again, leaving Xiao Fan to his own devices. However, there was an apparent reason why there was only a single small town on these mountainsides.

There was almost no useful herbs and even fewer herbs that any person would know how to use, so no one came here from bigger factions.

This was also how the two sisters tribe survived here so well, as no one with real power wanted to fight for this useless piece of land.

But in the end of his search, Xiao Fan was still somewhat happy as he at least found herbs to make bandages and more Greenflake flowers.

Then getting back to the cave, he reapplied the medicine and made new, before going for another adventure.

Xiao Fan might be wounded on the shoulder which might have some combat deficiency, but he still desperately needed to find something or someone to spar with.

Meeting sister Huan also rang some alarm bells inside his head as to how a girl in this kind of place had such high cultivation? If this place was a waste, what kind of person would a kingdoms prince or a warlords daughter be?

He, at the moment, had to gather any experience and power anywhere he could before venturing back to the Bald Eagle Dynasty or any other place.

So surely a super genius there might be already at the Body Strengthening or even Body Shattering realm might be possible only at under the age of thirty or even less.

Currently, Xiao Fan shouldn't even think about moving to any kingdom yet, or he would just become a side note there.

And so walking towards the place where he knew he would find battle it was.

Actually, it was a place where he had seen some wild monkey or even mutants loitering around an opening yesterday.

Walking towards the direction, it didn't take long before he found what he was looking for.

However, when walking to that place, he found that the clearing which the monkeys had been was much quieter than yesterday.

Only a few monkeys were peeking at him from the trees with one of them shouting something into the trees behind them.

Xiao Fan stopped for a moment to think about this before continuing his walking into the clearing stopping in the middle of it.

And then started training which included showing off his powers to the monkeys watching him.

Xiao Fan hoped that if this was a ring to fight in, maybe he could also take part, and in the worst case of them trying to catch him, he would simply run away.

At least it seemed he was doing something as more monkey were gathering, and soon all monkeys of the tribe had come to see how a human had come to challenge them.

More to Xiao Fan's favour the monkeys didn't seem to be thinking negatively about him, as there were more and more excited shouts going around him.

Finally, after a half an hour or so one eager monkey decided to be the one to answer to Xiao Fan's challenge.

This monkey, however, was only an animal monkey and not a mutant, so Xiao Fan with one punch sent the monkey into the trees almost killing him.

Witnessing this every monkey became even more excited about this, they seemed to be liking this new person who had come to test their combat skills.

What about the monkey who had lost? Well, in their opinion, he had lost fair and square, so they didn't care much about his injuries.

Xiao Fan himself also smiled a bit for it was now certain that he would get what he wanted.

Soon after the first flying out, another monkey stepped forward from the trees making a small dent to the ground while landing.

Xiao Fan seeing this monkey then showing off a little became just as excited as everyone else, for this monkey was a mutant.

Everything was proceeding just like he had wanted.

Starting this duel, Xiao Fan made an evident sign with his hand for the monkey to come at him.

Which to the monkey happily obliged with a charge that formed a shallow dent every time his steps hit the ground, and with a loud shout, the monkey threw the first punch towards Xiao Fan's stomach.

Not to be outdone by the monkey Xiao Fan replied to the charge with a fist of his own or a punch technique he had a self-made in prison.

The fists collided at the middle of the clearing sending a small shockwave around them, that any grass left in the clearing bending outwards of their meeting of fur and skin.

And for a moment it looked like that the monkey having superior strength from birth would be the deciding factor that would have won him this.

But it wasn't so as a crack could be heard coming from the monkey's arm as Xiao Fan's fist almost shattered it.

It would seem that superior strength from birth didn't matter anymore when the fighters were both evolved beings.

Showing a pained expression, the monkey made a quick retreat with a hop backing off from the middle.

However, it seemed that the fight wasn't over yet as the monkey made a look towards Xiao Fan like it wanted to inform him about something.

This monkey wasn't some low-level fighter in their tribe, so it wanted to save some face and doing so would now require the human's co-operation.

Xiao Fan got the idea and made a small nod to agree before the two of them continued with a few bouts here and there with a wrestle in between.

The real fight might have ended already, but the monkey wanted to seem stronger to the others while Xiao Fan tried to gain experience by fighting.

Their duel had become a play, as they were now mock fighting or sparring with each other, both gaining what they wanted in doing so.

To the other monkeys, however, this was still a real fight as every time skin made contact with fur they screamed and shouted from the trees.

They had battles between mutants every other day like this, yet never before a human had come to fight them fairly, so this was for them a special occasion.

A half an hour later bot of them seemed to be on their last legs panting and bruised, but the monkey was the first one to ¨give up¨ by jumping back on to a branch with a smile towards Xiao Fan in the clearing below.

Xiao Fan also made a polite bow to the monkey he had fought, and then also jumped onto a branch.

Unlike the monkey, however, Xiao Fan needed to push the other monkeys it the tree, as he claimed this to be his tree from now on.

The monkeys who had been there before reluctantly gave the first-class seat to Xiao Fan, as none of them could keep it for themselves or even together they were no match for a cultivator.

Meanwhile, Xiao Fan now reviewing the fight felt his blood pumping inside of him mixed with other juices also running in his head and veins of his.

This had been his first fight what lasted for a longer time giving him much knowledge about fighting, and even if it was a mock fight, it had still given him excitement in ample amounts.

And the reviewing the fight itself he noticed how even during the match, he had to adapt to his opponents fighting style, as it would sometimes notice his problems and started to push from those spots, almost like a trainer would.

The monkey had seen that his opponent's raw strength was much higher, yet his techniques were... Lacking, to say the least, so during their duel, he had started to train Xiao Fan as a form of gratitude.

Xiao Fan after he had made himself a spot to watch and revied the now pumped up monkeys starting their own fights it got quiet for a moment for him.

It would so for a moment before things started happening again when one of the monkeys from the tallest tree which had a small stand build into it dropped down from there and made her way towards Xiao Fan's tree.

When she got to him, there were communication problems with him and the monkey, but soon enough Xiao Fan got her idea and what she was offering to him.

What Xiao Fan got from it was that he had another duel in front of him, and this time it would be one of the monkey already smiling at him from the tallest tree.

This monkey who he was supposed to fight was massive and next to the monkey who seemed to be the chief of all the apes here, so was his opponent going to be the second strongest monkey here?

Still, even if it was a substantial increase in difficulty, Xiao Fan wouldn't deny another fight with a stronger monkey, as a rule here seemed to be no killing.

However, he still was recovering and comprehending the last duel, so he made sure to sign the messenger monkey that he needed time.

The female monkey nodded and then made her way back to where she came from and talked to the monkey sending the challenge to Xiao Fan.

After that, Xiao Fan watched monkeys fighting down below while applying more bandages and medicine to his wounds. By now, he had applied the mix of Greenflake flowers and water three times so far, and any pains were already gone, while the healing had started very well.

Truly the medical mix worked wonders and rightfully was one of the most used medicines everywhere.

A couple of hours later, he felt that he was nor ready for another fight and jumped down onto the arena.

When he was ready, it was already getting darker, and the monkeys had made fires around the edges of their stadium in waiting for the grand duel.

By the time he got down, his opponent was already waiting for him.

The monkey had one good reason why he was so eager to fight, and that was that he was a human and a strong human at that.

This monkey had heard about humans and how they ruled the most land and were the strongest, so he wanted to test this, and now he had an opponent to do so; he simply couldn't wait for a second longer.

When the two were starting all other monkeys became quiet instead of going crazy like the last time even the monkey from last fight became quiet and seemed to pity Xiao Fan.

Their fight started by the monkey, making the same type of hand gesture that Xiao Fan had previously made.

His monkey arm stretched forward and then motioned his finger towards himself in such ways that Xiao Fan had done before.

This made Xiao Fan chuckle a bit before bending his legs down a bit and then leaving the spot with a force that left marks to the ground.

He used all the power on his legs to make a massive one step charge towards the monkey while moving his body like he was loading a full-body powered punch.

His opponent was surprised by the nimbleness of him, and even before he got his fists to a guard, Xiao Fan had already in seconds closed the distance between them to zero.

Xiao Fan was the faster one as before the monkey could pull his guard up, Xiao Fan's hand was already colliding with a furry chest.

A small bit of the power was stopped by the monkey arms catching Xiao Fan's arm, yet most of it was there.

And the power that was the was well enough to send the monkey flying backwards into a tree.

Hitting the tree, the monkey had still enough momentum to shook the tree.

First blood had gone to Xiao Fan.

However, it was only one blow and not enough to wound the monkey. It wouldn't even take long for the monkey to get up from the hit.

The monkey getting up shook his head a few times, and then a little puzzled looked at the human who hadn't used his advantage.

Xiao Fan was just holding his spot while waiting for the monkey to regroup?

Xiao Fan acting in this way had confused the monkey too many times as he had watched his last fight, and he would never give his opponent any time to recover.

And unlike the previous monkey, this one didn't have the sight to think that Xiao Fan was training and currently pondering about his moves.

Such things also didn't interest him as when he had gotten up, he started a counter-attack, and when he got close enough, it became a literal missile.

The monkey had jumped horizontally; it's two feet had now become the very speartip of his counter attack.

Xiao Fan seeing that a kick was coming stopped thinking to welcome said kick.

This move, however, had come at him a few times in the last fight and hit successfully, and this time it was much faster than previous times.

But this time he already knew how to deal with it.

When monkey spear coming near him, he shifted his body to the side and raised his hand, and as the monkey's feet went past him, it became obvious to anyone that it was a fake attack and the real attack was coming later.

This attack might have worked before, but now it would never take him by surprise, so just as the hands were about to grab him, an elbow from Xiao Fan struck the monkeys stomach.

The forward momentum of the monkey came to a halt as it changed to a vertical one sending him down to the ground slamming the monkeys figure into the field.

And for the first time during this duel, a monkey shouted, the monkey to yell was, of course, the one who had used this move before to great success against Xiao Fan.

His shout was then followed by other monkeys shouting.

As it now seemed to them that this duel wasn't going to be a one-sided slaughter.
