Monkey tribe 2

After sending his new subordinates to do few things to for him, he took a walk around the tribe's cave to see the place more in detail.

Yesterday he had only seen it when walking through it once, but that in his mind didn't give him a good enough grasp.

During the more precise look of the place, Xiao fan was becoming more and more appreciative of Uruk as the amount he must have used here was a lifetime.

The only thing lacking here was things that humans could make and a fireplace, but from a monkeys perspective, this place might be perfect for living.

There was no danger at night, and everyone had their caves made into the sides of Uruks cavern, a monkey couldn't wish for a better place.

When he got back to his own cave house, he found that for the first time, he didn't have a lot to do.

There was no need to hunt or to find better shelter anymore so urgently, and so for the first time, he had the freedom to focus on cultivating.

Furthermore, the only thing stopping from him from breaking to the third grade of Body Warming realm was only a few days of cultivation anyway.

This was all thanks to his cultivation having a qualitative chance after reading the Book of Cultivation for a few days now, while the best time to breakthrough would be when the rat carcass was brought back here.

He could eat his stomach to a bursting point full of mutant meat and then gather all the energy from it to breakthrough with no difficulty.

On the other hand, only his basic needs like shelter and food were met, but now he had also responsibilities to the tribe he was in, and he intended to act upon them.

The first manifestation of him upholding his intent would be to build a storage and staging area. Also, a report of all items inside the cave would be done at the same time

These were needed for he had no idea of the scale or what things were inside here since everything here was scattered in a way that individual monkey also stored the community's resources.

A concept that would make any human's head spin.

Xiao Fan had gone and asked a catalogue from Uruk who had already heard him speak monkey, and was very happy with it and didn't ask about it.

His question, on the other hand, was met with a confused look, and it would seem that Uruk still hadn't thought about making a catalogue.

So making one became Xiao Fan's second thing inside the cave as second in command.

Planning done inside his mind, he then went and found some apes doing nothing useful and ordered them to gather all things that weren't private into a place he told them.

The monkeys did to protest, yet that didn't bear any fruit, the only thing it gave them was a fist into the head.

He himself then went to the place he had shown that was next to the chief and second in commands house, and made another cave to the chief's side, as not to anger Uruk.

Multiple hours of work later, he had made a small storage cave and had ordered more monkeys to haul the rocks he had demolished out of the main cave.

As this was all happening, Uruk and Cao Cao in different places were assessing Xiao Fan with different thoughts.

Uruk with a more confused look why Xiao Fan needed so many of his monkeys, but it seemed that he wasn't doing anything wrong with them, so he didn't intervene.

Cao Cao knowing better watched the management and planning skills of Xiao Fan, for that skill was very needed, he knew that too well as he had none due to his godly power messing with his life, so he watched Xiao Fan like a supervisor grading work that was being done.

And in Xiao Fan's management, he spotted multiple problems, but all of those came from a lack of experience in leading and having no real planning.

As Xiao Fan's issues were placing too many or too few monkeys to do one thing leading to confusion amongst other things, in the end, this did lead to a delay of an hour in work.

Still, not too bad Cao Cao thought.

Xiao Fan had also noticed his problem as when the cave was done the catalogue wasn't nearly finished at the same time and so he ordered all of the apes to start doing the catalogue.

More the monkeys doing it the faster right? Nope, as that order only increased the amount of chaos as none of the new monkeys knew which places had been looked leading into double or even triple-checking a household.

Realising this then lead to calling them all back, and an hour later, Xiao Fan could finally release most of the monkeys to do anything they were doing before.

While he and the rest would start making the catalogue.

Unexpectedly however, when he counted the things, he realised that the monkeys had only a few things other than food, as he wrote down everything into the storage room walls with his finger.

The catalogue went as followed three months of food, fife kilos of different herbs, and few miscellaneous items.

This should not have been a surprise as what would one expect from a tribe of monkeys? Why would they hoard money and weapons if they had no concept or need of them?

Shaking his head a little bit, he made another action for the day before he would focus on his things.

Headcount and listing every mutant and their cultivation level. Uruk might already know every monkey living here and their cultivation level, but Xiao Fan wanted to list them somewhere anyway.

However, this proved a much harder thing to do, as while every mortal monkey was easily counted, the mutants showed involuntary to their cultivation level to be written somewhere.

Hearing this from the monkeys coming back with no success in counting the mutants frowned a bit before an evil smirk took hold of his facial expression.

¨Go and ask them again and don't be polite anymore¨ He turned the monkeys to ask them again before starting to wait for them to come back again.

Just like he wanted, the monkeys came back again with no success.

Xiao Fan happily nodded and stood up from his bench, while telling them to lead him to them, for he now had a reason to train with some more mutants, and if so kindly given a chance, he would take it.

Moreover, while being training, this would also serve as an example that even if he was a human was he still the second of command and only Uruk could deny his orders.

The monkey in question still on his balcony seeing what Xiao Fan was doing laughed when he finally realised what Xiao Fan was about to do.

Xiao Fan not knowing about these laughs was taken to the to a nearby cave home where a sturdy monkey was leaning on the door.

The mutant had thought that the other monkeys would be annoying him all day and when the third visit came, he only glanced at them, yet that glance didn't stop as it locked on the human amongst them.

The monkey shook a little while it got up.

Xiao Fan, however, stopped some away from the mutant ¨Go and ask him again¨ telling his monkeys to ask a third time.

The monkeys who by now were getting the idea raced towards the mutant monkey waiting for Xiao Fan.

The first one of them to get in front of the mutant stopped just a meter before him and inquired ¨What is your cultivation level?¨ With a big grin on his face.

From this, the mutant monkey became fuming, as Xiao Fan was there not to ask him but to make trouble for him!

He might have told if Xiao Fan himself was asking, but now an ordinary monkey was asking him the same thing, and that was different to him.

The mutant took his eyes of the monkey before him and looked at Xiao Fan's direction, but Xiao Fan was looking at the walls and the roof like he was here only to look around.

Being completely ignored like this made the already fuming monkey lose it and raise his hand, but before it even hit the mortal monkey before him, Xiao Fan had already appeared in between the monkey grabbing the arm about to strike.

A few seconds to cover tens of meters was easy for any Body realm cultivator and Xiao Fan had just done so, plus he had trapped the monkey into a sticky situation.

Even if it happened only yesterday did all the monkeys know of Xiao Fan's strength and how he had just killed their last second in command in combat.

So when this mutant monkey saw Xiao Fan in front of him just waiting for a chance to pummel him did the monkey become hesitant.

As it would seem that he had just played to Xiao Fan's wants as if he punched the small monkey would thrashing be following him in seconds, but before he could even think other endings, Xiao Fan made a second move.

Xiao Fan's second move was to retreat to just looking around again while the mutant monkey's arm was still up against the mortal monkey.

Noticing this act of mercy, the mutant then slowly lowered his arm ¨First grade¨ the monkey answered before getting back inside his cave.

This monkey had chosen the wiser route of telling him his cultivation, but during their next stops to the other uncooperative mutants, not all did.

They decided to give Xiao Fan some of that sweet combat experience.

Doing everything like this during his counting, he got to fight a total of seven mutant monkeys repeatedly rising his combat skills and fame around the Monkey tribe.

Next to the catalogue, he made another list listing all the mortal and mutant monkeys inside the tribe.

Three hundred eighty-five mortal monkeys and eighteen mutant monkeys totalled the strength of the Monkey tribe currently, not including Uruk.

This amount of mutants was high while the number of fighting age youths was also high and so as a plus from these numbers, he figured that this tribe must be young and that Uruk must be the founder as if Uruk was the founder, the age pyramid could be reasoned.

And tomorrow Xiao Fan would tap to the manpower here and raise new mutants, they would only be grade one mutants for starters, but against mortals, they could win against tens of them with ease.

Additionally, if he trained them from the start would he then have more power on them, plus they would listen to his orders with a more fanatical fashion.

Though that was for tomorrow as Xiao Fan was happy with his progress today.

Public duties done he then retreated to his cave to focus on his things.

However, when he got there, Uruk had already placed his new maid inside the cave, and Uruk had been very confident in their catch.

They had found a beautiful woman just a short walk from here patrolling the forest alone.

The mortal woman had been easy prey for the monkeys jumping from the trees, and the only injury they got kidnapping her was an arrow nailing the first monkey to jump on her.

From this, anyone could already know who the person Uruk had found to be Xiao Fan's new maid was.
