Qian Ki was known to almost every one of the outsiders.
However, unlike last time in the shop where every one of them looked her as an alien was that this time there were a few people who didn't do so.
Those people remembered well what kind of a person her mother was, and there was a thing that no one of the people gathered here could have come close to beating her.
Even the righteous man Guo Jie, who was at the Body Limit realm couldn't hold a candle to her mother, who could with a few slaps of her wrist send him flying.
Thus contrary to the youths who either viewed her practices as evil or were afraid of her powers did they have much more indifferent attitude towards her.
And yes, the youths were afraid of her powers.
They very well knew that she had a much better chance of becoming a proper player on the continent than they would ever have.
Under everyone's gazes, Qian Ki, herself thanks to Xiao Fan had gotten a little better at holding her feelings when other people were looking at her. Enough so that she could smilingly approach Xiao Fan.
¨Fan let's go somewhere else. I can get us a separate booth here¨ That, of course, didn't mean she would want to stay here much, and so while fiddling with her fingers, she proposed to leave into a more private area.
Though, her proposition was refused by Xiao Fan, who took one of her hands, and pulled her so that she came next to him where he then offered a seat for her to sit on.
¨You can't always hide from others eyes, so please for me, could you try to stay here?¨ He wanted to show everyone how beautiful of a lady he had, plus this would also help with her anxiety for she couldn't be like this always.
He also had problems with being the focus of crowds, yet he tried his best to get rid off it.
Qian Ki thinking about this looked around them, dodging any eye contact with anyone who was looking at her with those gazes, but when her eyes came back to Xiao Fan did she decide to sit down.
Xiao Fan, seeing this was happy and to let her cope a little better, he holds her hand between their chairs so she could have some comfort sitting here in the open.
Like this, they continued for a while, and Qian Ki seemed fine and had started by now to listen to the conversation that was going on between Lei Tao and Du Lan about his business proposition.
Qian Ki had become very interested when hearing that they were talking about the far north as it was one of her family's old grounds.
Hearing that it wasn't going too well for this business opportunity, however, she started to seek if she could sway them to take this deal.
Since for her, it would be advantageous as the far north was a place she was required to visit, and if one would be going there would it be a good idea as a soft lowlander to have some connections into the far north's more barbaric tribes.
And so to affect this, she looked at Xiao Fan, who was holding her hand, and started whispering.
Xiao Fan listening to her whispering became a little intrigued about this, yet not at all convinced as like she straight up said she wanted to do this to further her own agenda.
Xiao Fan had to let her down this time by saying said that they could later think about other ideas how to get friendly with the northern tribes if they would ever venture there.
To this type of reply she was a little disappointed, but if he didn't like the idea what could she really do?
And all in all, it was just those dreams of hers that were telling her to go north to uncover her past.
This was also why Xiao Fan said to think about it, not denying.
As she mentioned, her powers could become stronger or something from doing so.
Due to this, he became tempted to try doing so, and who knew what would happen if she didn't listen to those voices?
But hearing that she didn't get this going her way right away, she gazed at Xiao Fan unpleasingly and then focused back onto the stage ignoring him except the hand that she was still holding.
To this, Xiao Fan could only inwardly chuckle since she was acting so cutely.
It didn't take long before another announcement was coming that concerned them.
It was a fighting call for Xiao Fan, against Lei Kang?
Xiao Fan pondered that was this some ruse or did he have such good luck that he would get to fight that Lei Kang fellow again, and this time things wouldn't be much better for him.
Lei Kang had become a Body Activation realm first grade; however, that couldn't contend with Xiao Fan's newfound power at all he smirked when getting onto the stage.
The fight started.
And like last time Lei Kang still had the special way of fighting, for his shouting and skills in showing off hadn't at least worsened a lot during his stay in Hangzhou.
Fighting him this time Xiao Fan would have wanted to show off.
However, Lei Kang was a member of the Lei Family, his biggest business partner, so humiliating their young master might not be the best idea.
His eagerness dying down was also reinforced by the fact that Lei Kang could somehow combo his attacks like he had attempted last time.
Though they were still ineffective because of his screaming and such, still they were pretty good Xiao Fan thought, and because of that, he couldn't also do anything to him.
It was indeed something weird seeing him pull those manoeuvres off successfully, but it might be because although Lei Kang was a showoff, he didn't really slack during training or so he had heard.
Nevertheless, that wouldn't help a lot.
It only took some thirty or so collides from their hands before Lei Kang was starting to feel his bones inside his hands to shake, which prompted a quick surrender.
Lei Kang wasn't this time even going to trash talk him much, and so after realising that more fighting only brought him pain, he made a rational decision of backing off with no communication.
Him being like this would seem that whatever his father had told him during their in-depth discussions had been affecting the boy.
Xiao Fan had this image, going back to Qian Ki, who was already starting to feel nervous.
¨You can't be alone for even a few minutes before you start acting up?¨ He playfully taunted her.
To it, however, Xiao Fan didn't get a reply.
Since Qian Ki strapped their hands together as they had been, and then pulled him to sit next to her where she then could finally start calming down.
¨No, I don't like these people at all, they look at me which such evil intentions that I can't take it¨ She said in a weak voice.
¨Then we will take this one step at a time, okay?¨ Xiao Fan didn't want to taunt her more after realising she was honestly a little off from how much harder she clutched to his hand.
Well, it was her first time outside after he had accepted her wholly so it might be better to let her go slowly at this process, and would he complain if a shy girl wanted to hold hands with him?
Now the next step for her, of course, would be getting on the stage where literally everyone here would be watching her fight play out.
And although some of them might not be sinister, most of them would, so her nerves would be tested again.
And it was truly so.
For when Qian Ki got up to fight, she felt being stared from every direction as if hundreds of pairs of eyes with malicious thoughts were aimed at her.
Her feeling wasn't far from reality.
Despite her feeling awful, she could do this when next to a fatso and her new sister, there was one man who smiled back into her eyes.
With this little encouragement, it didn't take long for her to sweep out the opponent who really was there to go on stage and then proceed to leave the stage.
Then she happily skipped back to Xiao Fan.
Only looking at him and not trying to look anywhere else, as doing so she would meet evil gazes compared to the best gaze there was for her.
When on the stage, she felt complete darkness, yet Xiao Fan in the audience smiling at her was a bright beacon of light and hope, which gave her the courage.
The fights continued for a while before there were only some ten other people, who included Xiao Fan, Du Lan, Qian Ki, Yuan Hu, Shi Yong, Du Huan, and some other people in the first stage of Body Activation realm.
Also, to note was that some people who were in the Body Activation realm had not even made it this far.
But again as a surprise, one of the weakest Body Activation realm practitioners Du Lan was still in the race.
Du Lan was an archer type so it would be weird for her to get this far and she had done so purely on luck or because other factors, who knows.
What was a fact was that she didn't face any Body Activation realm practitioners, so she got almost a pre-planned free pass into the top ten.
However, her luck might have taken her this far.
For it seemed to have ended, as she was the first pair to fight in the top ten and her opponent was no other than her sister Du Huan.
Du Huan hearing this was already smiling a little in the stadium.
She would now get to show her little sister who was in charge and then bring her home like she had promised to her during their talk.
Du Lan, on the other hand, had a completely different idea as to when she walked down towards Du Huan.
Even before down there on the stage, she began to unsheathe her weaponry that she had gotten so far.
For she wouldn't be pullin...
Well, in her case it was pulling much as she could, as she took out her Serpent's Bone Bow, which when hit would seriously injure Du Huan.
Furthermore, she also had the Body Sword, which she had named the Flower's edge.
While she was taking out her equipment, Du Huan realised that she might be in trouble.
She didn't have any fancy stuff that some sweet-talking man was gifting her, but this only served to strengthen her belive that Xiao Fan was somehow bad for Du Lan.
The arena under them was much larger than the arena Du Lan fought on during the Lei Family tournament.
Having a larger arena was in favour of Du Lan of course, seeing as she had more time which turned into more arrows.
The two sisters were starting their fight for the first time, the town members of Greenwood town who had come here with Du Huan learned for the first time that the Du Lan everyone had been talking about was their Du Lan.
They had no information of this as Du Huan stayed a good distance away from them.
And they did the same seeing as they didn't want to argue about religion with her too much, so they never got anything else than there was a woman named Du Lan participating in the second round.
But would they think it was the same, Du Lan? 'No' not even in their jokes would go that far.
And so the reality in front of them seemed a bizarre one for them as Du Lan really seemed that she would go full power against her sister, who could easily be sliced in half from either weapon Du Lan was holding.
The two sisters got on the stage but not exchanging any words only some mean glances did the fight soon start.
Both knew how this dance would go.
Du Huan started running towards her.
Du Lan took a deep breath before loosening her arrows on her sister.
Du Huan receiving these could for a moment see how the arrow went past her head, and she could also notice that there was something carved into the arrows.
So while at the same time dodging the arrows she had just enough time to read what those arrows had written on them and so read them.
Yet when she did so, she was stunned how her sister could be saying such things!
Those messages were straight-up obscene talk about something she shouldn't be saying.
Du Lan seeing her sister become almost faltering because of the messages she had made just in case this would happen, could only giggle.
But that giggle should be saved for later as she started loosening a few more arrows to dart towards her sister.
The efficiency of her specialised arrows started to showcase their effectiveness soon as Du Huan was nailed into the chest by one of them.
The impact of the arrow was massive.
And everyone could see how Du Huan was sent flying with a twisted expression on her face.
The arrow itself hadn't somehow managed not to rip a single rib bone with it just went straight through her.
There was also something weird as it could be perceived that one arrow didn't seem to be enough for her to give up.
For after a moment, Du Huan got up from the ground with a hole in her chest, but when she got up, she dropped on her knees.
And when she started praying Cao Cao, who was next to Xiao Fan felt a small tingling inside his body as if someone was praying to him.
