Second round 3 Exit of Du Huan

Cao Cao knowing this process well enough thought for a moment before deciding should he help Du Huan or not.

Pros of this would be to keep Xiao Fan and Du Lan in check, while the cons were almost none as only a drop of his power could be lent to Du Huan anyway before her body would break.

The conclusion made, Cao Cao gently lifted his index finger towards Du Huan, who was on the stage, praying for his intervention.

A small trace of his Faith Influence then begun floating towards Du Huan from his finger resembling a small stream.

When that stream of chaotic colours then finally hit her only Cao Cao could see how it covered her body in these colours appearing on her as if it was armour.

Fait Influence was the core of any spiritual being with a very few exceptions to this rule, but principally speaking every spiritual being used this type of power.

Cao Cao, who was considered a god, had a massive pool of this power inside of him compressed so that he could hold it inside him for convenience sake.

One could keep it inside a statue or a weapon or almost anything even the White Sun Sect's statue had the tiniest amount of Faith Influence inside of it.

Then again comparing that amount to what Cao Cao had. Well, one could not compare the worship of billions to a few hundred even without talking about the quality of worshippers.

Nevertheless, now that Cao Cao had done his part in healing Du Huans wounds and making her strength be that of a Body Activation realm peak could he lay back and watch the game.

Meanwhile, as Cao Cao acted as if nothing had happened, most of the people spectating this match were dumfounded.

Yes, they were dumbfounded since they did not know about what was happening right now.

The Ohin Continent had next to no information about Faith Influence or such things seeing as the most spiritual entities in their continent like Qian Ki were hunted as aliens, not treated as heroes.

Plus there was the fact that there were no Qi Realm cultivators.

So no one could even figure the slightest trace of the origin, as it was fundamentally impossible for a Body Realm cultivator.

Due to these facts, little did the people know what was happening.

Even Mao Li could only stroke his beard and wonder, and gather data about this, as even he did only have a little idea about this, but the extent of that was minimal.

The only person who did know something was Xiao Fan, who found the rippling of Du Huan's skin oddly familiar to the monkey he had fought against

Furthermore, after she suddenly recovered the hole that had pierced her chest, he knew what was going on.

And truthfully the only thing he wanted to do when realising this was to get Du Lan out of there.

He saw there be a maybe that Du Huan wouldn't be controlling her movements enough only to incapacitate her sister.

However, just like Uruk had done, Xiao Fan sat down back onto the bench, letting the match continue like everyone else was doing.

Thankfully Du Lan, who was seeing that her sister had fully recovered the injury on her chest didn't panic a lot before loosening another arrow into Du Huans chest followed by another.

Every arrow of hers was penetrating Du Huan, who couldn't get up. She was screaming in pain coming from being pierced continuously through her body to get up.

Still, Cao Cao wasn't feeling the losses he would be taking at this rate, so after seeing this, he again lifted his index finger, starting to supply Du Huan with more Faith Influence.

By now, everyone else who had the luxury to neither be in a hurry to shoot at her sister nor screaming from all the arrow hits was now dumbfounded.

When finally Xiao Fan was starting to see what the hell was going on could he begin to put pieces together.

For the monkey he had fought after being beaten once had lost its support from the being; however, Du Huan was getting more and more hurt yet had no signs of stopping.

She was gaining at the same rate.

Though what realising this gave him? Gods should have differences, and so the amount they would bear to give might be different. His thoughts were inconclusive, other than noting this itself.

Below him pondering, Du Lan was releasing arrow after arrow into her sister, yet seeing no effect was becoming anxious.

Then when her last arrow left the bow, piercing Du Huan's leg into the ground, she took out her Flower's edge and charged..

For if her opponent were somehow recovering from all the injuries she was inflicting, she would then need to hit her hard enough that she couldn't keep up with the speed of injuries.

Of course, this still meant not killing her sister.

So she could only slice into her body and not the head, as that might be too hard to be recovered, and she wouldn't take the risk of accidentally killing her.

Du Huan was only ripping the arrow out of her leg which was pinning her down when she saw her sister coming at her, swinging a violets sword.

Now it was her turn to panic.

In her mind, Du Huan was already gratefull enough to the white, old man who had taught her to pray to such a powerful being.

The being, which was healing her. However, would that being help with her if this attack would hit her?

It was too late to think more.

As by that time, she could see her sister hesitate for a moment before swinging her sword towards her stomach.

Probably the hesitation had come from her because she couldn't decide where to hit.

When the Flower's Edge hit Du Huan's side her now peak Body Activation realm body resisted the blade for a brief moment before giving into to the blade.

The Flower's Edge cut straight through her body, though Du Lan kept just enough of her hands pulled back so it wouldn't cut her spine.

Neither of the sides did want to hit the other so that she would be maimed or worse.

Or at least Du Lan was hoping that Du Huan would do the same even if her stomach were now cut through.

However, when her sword was coming out of Du Huan's body, the other side of the wound was already healing from the cut which made Du Lan feel that maybe just maybe she should retreat from this.

No, not yet she decided.

Instead, she swung again and again at her sister, who was getting up while screaming from the pains.

However, this pain was already so much that she was starting to lose any feeling of pain.

Meaning that Du Huan, who was now confident that she wouldn't be killed wasn't faced by even if her leg was severed for a moment by the blade, for her it was only a stumble.

¨Just get down!¨ Du Lan screamed at her sister, who was starting to smile at her sister, who in return, was starting to panic.

¨It seems like you will be coming with me today little sister¨ She laughed in response as she was just about to get up on two legs and start a counter-attack.

¨No I will not be coming with you¨ Du Lan responded to her reminding about their bet they had made during the first round.

She wouldn't be going back to Greenwood town with her.

There was no way that she would be abandoning Xiao Fan right now for god knows how long Du Huan wants to stay inside that god forgotten town.

The reality in front of her was, however, against her.

Something way too powerfull was helping her sister.

What could she do at the moment if her sister wouldn't get down from a blade cutting her in half?

Then it struck her.

A tournament rule that hadn't been used yet seeing as there was no need for it during these fights.

Preparing to execute her new plan, Du Lan took a step back while also pulling her sword out of Du Huan, which almost instantly healed that wound.

Then she took one more glance towards her stomach and begun thrust her sword into her abdomen.

One more thrust into her abdomen wouldn't do much.

But it gave her a chance to push her from there, and the sword being stuck inside of her made it impossible to be healed.

Du Huan, who wasn't stupid, noticed what was going on.

She realises that she was being pushed towards the edge of the arena by her sister, who wanted to throw her out.

Gaining a win through her leaving the arena.

Knowing that would be the end, she started to look for a footing on the ground.

Yet Du Lan had taken this to consideration, and so she was keeping the sword in an angle that she couldn't get her feet into the ground.

Despite this disadvantage, what she could do now that her stomach was against the guard of the blade was grabbing her sister.

And from there try to rip her into pieces.

Du Huan was levels above Du Lan.

So if she got her hands into the flesh of the other, could she rip it straight out of her body, which she started doing, with her bare hands.

Du Lan soon felt how parts of her back and sides were for a moment being ripped into pieces by her own sister's hands.

From it, she screamed, she had no magical healing ray helping her.

Pain asides her speed, at first sight, didn't slow much by those actions. Du Lan would endure.

Her endurance was also noted by Du Huan, who then switches her tactic.

Now she would use her fingernails like blades to cut into her back.

Moreover, now that no skin was left resist against this type of an attack could Du Huan cut straight into the softer meat.

It would seem that this worked more, for Du Lan screamed louder, and her steps slowed down.

On the other hand, there were only a few steps into the edge of the arena.

Yet the pain was becoming unbearable.

But the cost of losing drove her to take a sluggish step after a step.

Du Huan also changed her tactic for the third time, seeing that her sister wasn't squirming in pain already.

Her third tactic would be to take hold of Du Lan's throat with her bloodied hands and strangle her.

Feeling this the last few steps that Du Lan took towards the edge of

the arena felt like a marathon.

With every step taken forward, she could feel how she wasn't getting air anymore into her lungs.

Joining the existing feeling of her back being completely open.

Through all this, she still got to the edge of the arena.

Finally there, she didn't stop of a moment, when there she used the strength that was left in her to throw the Flower's edge out of her hands.

On which Du Huan was skewered.

The violet grip and pommel of the sword could still be seen on her decorating Du Huan's stomach like it was a naval accessory when she fell into the ground that was surrounding the slightly raised stage.

After that, however, the last thing she could see was how from the corner of her eye Xiao Fan was running towards her with the real Greenheart mix in his hands.

Then the last thing she could think before losing consciousness was how she might have lost the tournament, but she had won what was important for her.

She had won the bet between her and Du Huan.

That was the only thing she had wanted to win anyway, she thought before falling next to her sister, a smile on her face.

Meanwhile, Cao Cao seeing that Du Lan had won could still affect the outcome of this fight.

However, he didn't really want to mess with a population of an entire world just for this, so he let it slide.

Messing with a whole world on this development level wouldn't be too hard, yet later on, everyone could gather from doing this action who was Xiao Fan's helper.

So after Du Huan was healed with power his power, he slowly extracted the Faith Influence he still could in a way that it wouldn't hurt Du Huan much.

Xiao Fan, on the other hand, was running towards Du Lan, who was still bleeding but had already lost consciousness.

Going there, he also saw on the side how Du Huan was slightly shaking yet looked towards her sister and then at him.

Looked at him like she wanted to talk.

However, the current Xiao Fan didn't want to talk a lot with her ¨Get out of the way!¨ He shouted, pushing her onto the side and then proceeded to carry Du Lan out of the stadium.

Still, Du Huan wanted to say something but didn't get to say a lot, for she felt how Qian Ki, who had been running a few steps behind Xiao Fan came to her.

Qian Ki coming to her proceeded to pull out the Flower's Edge that was still inside her abdomen.

Though she did so with a small twist while her foot pinned Du Huan down, she didn't like her either and made it know.

Du Huan as a reply to them taking Du Lan away from her again could only cough out blood.

Then again lie on the ground thinking about what just had happened.

She knew very well that she had lost the battle, and that according to their bet Du Lan was now free to do whatever she wanted.

She wouldn't get a say.

Furthermore, it wasn't only due to this that she felt sad.

There was also the fact that the being helping much as it had, yet still losing was humiliating.

Nevertheless, that pain didn't even come close to the feeling that she had lost her only sister.

The sister who had been there with her during the constant fleeing from war, yet now that they could move forward together she had not chosen her.

Instead, she had chosen this man, and seemingly a new sister, who was running behind the man carrying her.

Leaving her alone.

Disregarding those thoughts, she did, however, when she heard a familiar sound whispering good things to her ear.

Those things it was whispering to her ear made her feel confident enough that someday all of this could be recovered.

Those whispers and their promises in mind.

Du Huan got up, the last wound in her stomach now healed.

When on her two feet she to left the arena, not saying anything, but surely one day she would be back to claim her sister.
