Xiao Fan currently might have won the match against Shi Yong; however, he would need to win one more match to be either in the top four or top two.

So while he walked utterly exhausted from the stage, it would now be entirely up to the matchmaking how far he could go, and then, of course, he would need to win one more round.

Winning a round in his current state might not be the most plausible option so it would also be determined how much his next opponent would have taken a beating from before.

If at all possible the enemy would be ragged as him.

Then there was a good chance, or he or she would be perfectly fine, or worst case, he would face Qian Ki already, well, good run then.

Going back to see Du Lan, he pondered about the situation for the moment, but then realised that there was no reason to do so for he couldn't affect the outcome.

Getting back into the room, Du Lan was still unconscious while Qian Ki had already made her back be completely green, it would seem that she wanted to soak her in the Greenheart.

¨How is she?¨ He asked Qian Ki, who had been taking care of her.

¨She's okay but will need some time to recover from all of that. She certainly will not be fighting anymore today, but I don't think that is a big problem¨ Qian Ki answered, trying to look a little away from his eyes that were starting to laugh.

¨You cannot do first aid? You know if you heal those animals back to a good condition they would last much longer¨ He chuckled.

He could recognise that she had tried to bandage Du Lan's back, yet had only managed to throw bandages around the room.

¨If one doesn't take injuries one doesn't need to learn how to do first aid¨ She tried to defend herself.

But Xiao Fan hearing this kind of excuse wasn't laughing anymore since she was saying because she was so strong, she wouldn't need to learn something this basic.

So with a few steps, he was in front of her and then dragging her back to the stretcher ¨You can't say something like that, saying something like that is just complete idiocy!¨ He lectured her.

¨B-But¨ She stammered words out of her mouth.

Qian Ki new that he was right, but she had tried her best yet not managed to do anything, so what could she do?

¨No buts! I'll teach you how to do it right now¨ He wouldn't want to have a party member with him who couldn't do first aid.

What if something happened with only her and someone else around? Would the person who might be dying need to teach her how to tie a bandage?

Qian Ki could only look a little down and let out a ¨Un¨ Sound as she began watching how Xiao Fan was performing the treatment.

And although he looked exhausted, he still did everything precisely as they should be.

The first thing being taking out most of the Greenheart out of her back since there was enough to cause an overdose.

Qian Ki silently watches as he then started to roll the bandage around her body so that the wounds would be covered from the air while the Greenheart mix would still be between the broken skin and the bandage.

Then when the rolling was done, he tied in a way that it would stay in place while telling her the whole time how to do it.

When finally finished and a few light caresses on the sleeping Du Lan's cheek done, he turned around to face Qian Ki.

¨I just don't want to see anything happening to the either of you, so I want the both of you to know how this is done¨ He said in a hopeful tone, looking at her eyes.

Now, could Qian Ki understand better why Xiao Fan had been so adamant about teaching her this.

He merely wanted that in the case something happened to them they could help the other, a thing to which she couldn't complain.

¨Okay, and sorry on my part if I acted like a kid not wanting to learn something¨ She admitted her wrongs.

Xiao Fan seeing the shy girl stammering some words out couldn't but think how cute this girl was, and as a gift for her getting it, he gave her a short kiss.

Ending it he still kept her in a hug for a moment to speak with her ¨Good girl, but I think you should go now as it is your turn next. I will stay here and watch over Lan'er¨

Qian Ki, who was still a little surprised from such a sudden action of his was still a little stunned yet also happy, spoke ¨Let me be like this until they call for my match to start¨

And so they did until Qian Ki's match was announced to be just about to start they had stayed like that.

Then when it finally came for her to leave, she left without saying a word her cheeks red while Xiao Fan watched her go from by the door.

She wouldn't take long.

So after not seeing her anymore, Xiao Fan got back into the room where Du Lan was still unconscious but was showing some signs of waking up.

Xiao Fan coming next to her could only think about the things that he had read from the book First Steps to Medicine and the things that the book had told about this type of thing.

As it still had many ways how to wake up an unconscious person, yet most of them were things that he would like to try out first on someone else than Du Lan so he wouldn't be taking an unnecessary risk of waking her up now.

So he opted to watch her sleeping face that still showed the happy face he had seen so many times already, yet he could still look at it for hours on end, and he wouldn't get tired of it.

Qian Ki also came back after a few minutes, which Xiao Fan considered a long time as that would mean that the person fighting her had been trying to win.

But when Qian Ki had first come into the room and saw Xiao Fan sitting on a bench quietly watching Du Lan sleep, she didn't inform about her arrival and watched how he gazed into Du Lan's face.

Although Qian Ki had the idea that Xiao Fan loved them both equally watching him be like this, not even noticing her presence, watching the other who wasn't even awake, she couldn't take the thought of her being the less favoured out of her mind.

Especially when he finally noticed her in the room, he really didn't talk anything to her before going back to watch her sleeping face.

It wasn't until she sat down next to him that he began chatting and such with her, but still, he was mostly looking at Du Lan, making her even more troubled about everything.

¨Xiao Fan who do you like more?¨ Qian Ki asked, trying to get his attention.

Xiao Fan turned around to face her eyes, and could clearly enough discern what she thought

¨Of course I try to look at you equally don't worry about that. Still, you can understand that throughout our lives, our feelings might fluctuate because of events that we might not be in control of¨ He tried his best to reason his current actions.

¨Are you saying that right now you like her more than me? And you also have the courage to say it to my face?¨ She took that a little different than he would have liked her to take it.

Qian Ki hearing this, noticing how he reacted to her questioning could sigh a little in relief, it would seem that she had just gotten a little jealous.

¨Yet you didn't consider my want to travel into the north much?¨ Yet like Du Lan when she had some capital to move around, she would take it, so now feigning to be a little hurt, she would see if she could affect some matters a little.

Qian Ki seeing him not replying for a moment pushed him more

¨Well, what are you thinking? Thinking if she will be mad at you because of this? You truly say one thing while deep down you have other thoughts¨

¨No I don't mean it so but...¨ He tried to reason his case.

¨What but?¨ She now took a more aggressive stance against him as if she was about to unload every cannon she had on him.

He had no more ideas about what to do with her, and he still didn't want to take that deal.

Sure one of the reasons was that Du Lan was utterly it against; however, the elephant in the room was the death penalty that it would land on their heads if caught.

This last defence of his was also the one thing that Du Lan couldn't counter and had been betting on him not realising, yet it would seem that he had now gotten it.

¨Then you have to promise me that before we leave for the continent where Qi Realm practitioners flourish we will visit the Far North and go to my family home there¨ She made a stern statement that wasn't meant to be negotiated.

¨Of course. We would have been going there anyway, for don't think we have any more feasible route getting there. Who knows that maybe you unlock something from your memories that will show us the way there?¨

Qian Ki, who had been trying so hard to get him to go into the Far North now realised that it was indeed so and that her acting against Xiao Fan had been for nothing.

There were already a lot of people who were in the peak of Body Limit realm, whose first step to improving themselves was to find that Qi Realm continent that everyone knew there was, yet no one knew where it was.

Even the current Liang Dynasty has fallen behind the Bald Eagle Dynasty in power because of a few disastrous explorations done to find that place.

The Liang Dynasty has so far lost two emperors in the Body Limit realm on those explorations and also including some of their best generals, but getting no idea on the mainland if they have found the other continent.

Them to reach that continent, the best bet would be the Far North, seeing as her ancestors came there first and not to the more suitable lowlands of the south where they currently were.

Form it one would reason is that it the Far North was closer to that continent than the lowlands.
