Women 1

While Xiao Fan complained how boring these trials were, the other person who had entered the tower with him was having a blast clearing these trials.

Zhuan An or Facade now with her new nickname was having way too fun. Not in the meaning that this was exciting, but in the meaning that she got a huge amount of combat experience. Since while she did have a huge amount of practice with the awl-pike, her actual fighting with it could be counted with one hand.

In simpler terms, Zhuan An having an opportunity to hone her skills to the next level couldn't complain at all, after all the awl-pike was the second most important thing in her life, after Xiao Fan that is of course. Nevertheless, she was very much so excited even if she was exhausted from all the battling.

Why was she at the breaking point? Well first, she currently was a few trials above Xiao Fan taking a more relaxed approach to this tower, which also meant that her opponents were currently of a higher level than she was, Body Activation Realm Third Grade to be exact. So every fight she took was something wherein she could be losing her life in, yet still, wanting to push her skills further, she hadn't stopped and gone back.

Even now she had her awl-pike pointed towards one of those human beings that felt empty even to her.

Around the two ashes were indicating that she had killed a few of these already, however, neither of the sides took zero note of this as they kept staring into the other's eyes, waiting and trying to be ready for anything.

Anything like Zhuan An spinning towards her opponent, executing the same move she had done a dozen times on this level. She had also realised the pattern, so she was taking full advantage in the honing, and honing it she was.

She was feeling how the movement was going. There were the same errors from before, though sometimes some of them were corrected making Zhuan An slightly happy, yet still keeping in mind what she was doing here. And continuing her spin, she saw how the opponent falls for it. As the being similar to a human prepared for a broad swing to be coming at its torso by raising its sword to the side, seemingly taking the correct block stance.

Yet it wasn't so, it took the wrong stance, for when the awl-pike was near, it was drawn towards the backside of her body as her leg came down to the ground, stopping all her movement for a split second, letting her refocus all energy into a swift thrust.

Her opponent reacted to it. The beings empty eyes were now shifting their focus on to this, trying to move the sword from the side to be in front of it; however, it was way too late.

Seeing as by the time the sword was halfway moved, Zhuan An making a rush forwards and extending her hands for the extra reach pierced the metal plate on the opponent's chest. Then knowing that the awl-pike pike had the unfortunate side of having low damage on its thrust, she used one of the pros of the awl-pike, which was taking control of the opponent's body to herself, and to so she would be using the needle now quite far into the opponent.

She lifted the being out of the ground and then trashed it into the ground head first, and then before it could get back up in a split second she drew her needle out of the stomach and pierced the throat of the being that didn't breath, yet luckily for her, the tower took this as fatal hit and so turned the being skewered on her awl-pike to ash.

¨There's still so many of them¨ She spoke, yet she didn't lament when saying this as her next words were ¨Great! So much more practise before I need to get out of here¨

Meanwhile, as she happily ran over to lure another one of these things to fight her alone, someone else inside the Tomb of the Four Ancient Ones was also having her own share of fun. However, that was only a saying, as Fei Sun wasn't having fun at all.

Fei Sun had been now a few days inside this native tribe that lived inside the Tomb of the Four Ancient Ones. And let's just say that although they had all the herbs, she would ever need; otherwise, this was just uncomfortable. Anytime she would try to leave the house she slept in was she bombarded by men of the native tribe that had never seen such a woman like her. And not helping this was that the women of their tribe weren't anything pretty to be looking at, so her beautifulness was overshadowing everyone.

Making the females of the tribe jealous and angry, which in turn, made them not too welcoming towards her while the men of the tribe were too welcoming of her, and as they were stronger than her, she didn't have many options here.

She could only be vague as possible with them, for now, since she didn't want to leave this gold mine either. Fei Sun might have said that she wouldn't be doing it anymore, but if doing so made her gain power at a tremendous pace, well... she didn't mind, maybe she could hide this after all was over... yeah sure, she had convinced herself of this.

And things weren't too bad as she did have one friend inside this tribe. A lovely older lady had taken her under her wing, and she was also helping her turn down the too straightforward suitors of her by using her own power and influence. After all, she was the village shaman so the people here who were very much into shamanism being a legit thing didn't push her further when curses could be coming at them later.

Still, again, not letting things to be easy for her, the Shaman herself was naturally a firm believer in shamanism, and furthermore, she wanted to teach her this ancient craft of hers, yet one more time, Fei Sun wasn't objecting to this training. Why would she? The thing freaking worked! She had seen it with her own eyes how one man daring enough to lay a hand on her had been song into the ground by the Shaman.

After that display? Nope, she wasn't questioning at all. After that display shamanism sounded a fun thing to be learning, it anyway basically boiled to being voice cultivation with steps that were out of this world... wait... maybe it was out off the Ohin Continent was the more proper thing to say.

Why did she believe so? Err, the Shaman, had been enthusiastically narrating some wacky old tale of a world being spilt into small piece and then crashed into the lower world or something like that. She didn't exactly follow every word the Shaman, who had been saying the tale under an amount of drugs that would cause any mortal to have an overdose and thus fall over dead.

Yet despite the occupation clearly involving taking in a great amount of drugs, Fei Sun hadn't backed away from practising such an art. Why should she? The Shaman looks as if she was almost two hundred years olf, so why not? It didn't seem like the Shaman had been put into an early grave because of her injecting all those drugs into her only body.

¨Be careful. You have only been under my teaching a couple of days, yet you are doing this already¨ The old hag leaning onto a cane warned Fei Sun, who was trying her first trip into the place the Shaman said taking this drug would take her.

¨It will be fine. I understand everything¨ She responded in a confident tone while cutting a vein open and stuffing in there a batch of something she wasn't too clear of. She was clear how the ritual proceeded. She didn't know how the concoction was made.

¨Good candidates always die young¨ The Shaman lamented, yet let her proceed with the ritual. Fei Sun had been her best student so far. And sure while the others had died attempting this and other stuff, the hag was pretty certain that Fei Sun with her amazing skills could pull this off.

To this Fei Sun didn't respond any more as after having gotten all the things to run into her bloodstream she was already feeling light-headed '...Stay up, don't fall asleep...' She repeated some mantra that the hag had given her which would help her push through the barrier.

On the side, the Shaman casually looked at Fei Sun, and after a while, a small happy expression on the Shaman's face could be seen if anyone else was inside this small hut yet filled to the brim hut of hers. She also had a good reason to be happy, for her student had succeeded and was now going back to the motherland to have a look.

Motherland? It was the Shaman's motherland or more like the mother piece of this continent; nevertheless, it was the bigger part of the world which had been hit by the plague told to Xiao Fan in the book ¨last piece of this world¨

And while Fei Sun flabbergasted was exploring this horrible world, somewhere inside the smaller piece a scream was heard.

After this scream, another voice of a woman could be heard¨Screaming isn't going to save you¨ This voice belonging to Qian Ki, who was having her own fun, or cultivation? Those things went hand in hand with her, and so currently, she was doing both.

¨Go away you demon!¨ A man who had a little more courage in him spoke, though only a little more as he was also running next to the woman who had screamed moments before.

¨Your kind calls me a Spawn of Evil!¨ She laughed back at the two Bald Eagle Dynasty members trying to call her names.

¨S-She's the Spawn of Evil!¨ The woman realising this cried out and fall to the ground in fear.

¨Get up! Get up!¨ The man wanted to get her, going yet she didn't, and so he needed to lift her up.

Yet as he was doing so and almost getting his friend off the ground, a blood-red sword slashed the woman, cutting off her both legs clean, right below her waist.

From this, the woman screamed in more desperation, yet her cry was snuffed out by the crazed yelling of Qian Ki now following the man, who was trying to carry the now severed friend and the girl he fancied to safety ¨Acting like the hero who saves the Princess are we?¨ She screamed out a question.

A question to which she didn't get an answer before she was again upon the man carrying the woman and still trying to flee. Then like before she cut off his legs, making both of the runaways fall to the ground at speed.

Both of the people screamed, the woman a little more in a higher pitch. Yet they were quickly shut up by their hunter, who had come accustomed to dealing with prey trying to unintentionally attract more prey to their location. Which meant that Qian Ki gagged them, and then carrying their bodies, even picking up the legs, she made her retreat into a quiet place she had found.

When there, she threw both of the people still alive into a room in which had a heavy Qian Ki feeling since it was filled with other people and her blood drawings, though some of the people had their legs. Those were the ones who had stupidly listened to her screaming stop.

¨I think you have something to talk to her¨ However, maybe mercy or maybe being a sick person like Qian Ki was, she loosened the gags on the two's mouth so they could talk.
