¨Feelings mutual¨ Fei Sun replied to Xiao Fan while trying to block anyone charging over to the Bald Eagle Dynasty lines from running over her or his head that was poking out of the ground.

¨So how have things been¨ He didn't ask her to help him get out of this hole since could do that himself anyway, or so he thought, so he didn't mind staying here and cooling off the heat that was in his body.

¨Good, things have been going well. As you can see I have been learning new stuff¨ She said and then performed a small puff of fire to come out of her mouth.

To which, Xiao Fan jerked back a little. Currently, he had a small fear for fire ¨If things are going well, then I guess I can't complain¨ He didn't praise, and he wouldn't praise.

¨You want to get out off that hole?¨ Fei Sun could discern that Xiao Fan wasn't eager to talk about her new practises much, and so she changed the topic. She might have wanted to tell him some stories and such that she had been hearing from the Hag, but understanding the current situation, she could only sigh and let them be for now.

¨If at all possible¨ Xiao Fan took the help ¨This song is a pretty darn nasty one¨ He added in, while trying to squirm out, but now found that he couldn't get himself out of this.

¨The ground around you is changed a little. Simply answered if you aren't strong enough you can't get out¨ She explained as she was starting to dig the ground around him, not the ground next to him, but some half a meter away from him.

¨Seems that you have been learning a lot¨ Soon to be getting out from this trap was Xiao Fan more wanting to hear how she had been doing. At the end of the day, he couldn't just dismiss her, even if he was angry at her.

Fei Sun when noting this brightened up since this meant that he wasn't furious enough to hate her for what she had done. Knowing this, she began to explain how she had ended up in this situation to the person she was digging out.

'This is all useful information' Xiao Fan listening to her story so far in this place wasn't disappointed, neither on how she was doing or how much new information he was being told. Most of the stuff she was telling was new, after all.

¨Your new... Master? Will she be angry from you doing this?¨ At the end of it, he questioned if the Hag that he had seen still by the edge of the clearing would be angry at Fei Sun for not killing him.

¨She's a sweet old gramma. Might ask me a few questions regarding what happened but no punishment will be coming my way¨ Fei Sun reassured him that there would be no flak coming towards her from the Shaman.

¨Good¨ He simply answered, and while saying so, he tried to squirm once again. And this time squirming helped, for after a few shooks of his body he felt the ground around him giving up.

¨Hey!¨ She exclaimed ¨That will only worsen your situation¨ She might have forgotten to tell that squirming wasn't such a good idea, but now it was too late since soon Xiao Fan felt the ground taking a harder grip on him.

A frustrated sigh left from Xiao Fan ¨Then how I'm I going to get out from here¨

¨For now, you can stay there¨ Came a new voice, a strange voice for Xiao Fan, yet a familiar one for Fei Sun, who knew it was her Master coming over here for a reason she didn't really get.

¨Why are you here?¨ Nevertheless, Fei Sun hearing her come, turned around to look at the gramma slowly coming over to them, using the stick to walk.

¨Is there any reason I shouldn't be here?¨ She took a look at her apprentice and said this. Then after that, she took a look at Xiao Fan, a person she didn't know, but had a notion who he was to Fei Sun ¨Boy, who are you?¨

¨Mask, the representative of the Bald Ragle Dynasty, it was said before¨ He wasn't sure what the Hag was wanting, but he knew that lying here should be a good idea.

Though it might not be since he got caned for that answer he gave ¨Who is he?¨ The Hag, who used her walking stick to strike the forehead of Xiao Fan, asked Fei Sun the same question.

¨H-he's...¨

She was stammering out words? Why would she be like that? Xiao Fan wondered.

¨Spit it out¨ The Hag didn't do anything bad to her, but she sure pressured her to give out an answer.

Fei Sun knowing there was no way to hide it then told the truth ¨He's to be my husband¨ She said the truth aloud.

A truth which made the Shaman be shocked, not much, but enough that both youths could see that she was shocked ¨You never told me of this...¨ The Hag's tone became a little disappointed and something else.

¨What other option did I have?¨ Fei Sun defended herself.

Meanwhile, Xiao Fan on the floor could see that this wasn't going to be a happy talk between a master and a disciple, and he could only curse to himself that this was all because of him. Rather not do the things and actions he had done if this jeopardized Fei Sun and her growth. There was no excuse for that, he thought.

¨Do not worry, everything can still be saved. If you still are a virgin, you are one, correct?¨ The Hag was for sure disappointed but still seemed wanting to continue working with Fei Sun, though she did make a weird question.

¨How could I have gotten this far this quickly if not?¨ Fei Sun made a point which meaning was to defend herself? Xiao Fan was getting very confused. Also, the times he had been sidelined in conversations started to be too much, something like this happened way too often.

'Though luck...' Yet to that, he could only think so and figuratively shrug his shoulders since he couldn't do that physically.

¨That is true. So you never did it with him?¨ The Hag asked another straightforward question, even pointing at Xiao Fan with her walking stick.

¨No, of course not¨ Fei Sun spoke.

¨Hmm¨ The Hag then took a moment to think ¨Everything seems to be salvageable then¨ She seemed to calm down, yet a moment later the conversation took a steep turn, for the worse ¨You get rid of him then¨

¨Get rid of him?¨ Fei Sun repeated what she had just said.

¨Yes get rid of him. As in kill him!¨ He Hag's voice rose a little at the end when she told Fei Sun to kill him.

¨I will not!¨ When Fei Sun got the idea, she immediately shot it down, making clear that she wouldn't be doing anything like that. Even if there was no deeper bond with them, yet she wouldn't do that to him.

Hearing this, the Hag placed her hand that wasn't on the walking stick to her forehead, and after a sigh spoke ¨You should do it¨ She advised.

¨No I will not kill him!¨ Fei Sun made her stance pretty clear with this.

¨First of all, if you don't do it, I will. Second of all, there are so many things you'll be missing out on if you do that¨ Fei Sun might have a firm stance, yet a few hundred-year-old Shaman had figured her own stance a long time ago.

¨You are missing a lot if you never do it¨ Xiao Fan humoured from the pit. He wasn't lying, and even the Hag getting his meaning looked at him a little weirdly.

¨You are saying that some carnal pleasure is worth losing power? Something like that? Something which lasts only for that short moment is worth the price of losing strength for the rest of your life?¨ She hadn't thought of this, but having everything else figured out she made a counter-argument in no time.

¨If you don't use power to gain and keep that then what for are you gaining power? So that you can say to your friends that you are the strongest? Don't make me laugh¨ Xiao Fan happily laughed, his argument went a little off even his own principle of gaining strength for knowledge, but whatever. The current situation wasn't giving him much time to make good arguments.

¨I, my self devote my life to the Gods that I serve, not to some primal desire of mine¨ The Hag gave the answer which Xiao Fan would have given in her place.

¨Very devoting" He gave her that, yet continued "Is that why you never started a family? In your hundreds of years of living?¨

¨You could say so. But what does that have to do with anything?¨ The Hag answered, she was a little interested but didn't see where he was going with this.

¨Wouldn't the ultimate devotion a woman can give be to birth more children into the world who could then continue your work and also devote themselves to your Gods? Two is better than one, no?¨ Xiao Fan gave the argument he was going for.

An argument which made the hag frown, she frowned very much so and went into deep contemplation in front of the youths.

The two youths made some talk with their eyes, though after all that talk Fei Sun was somewhat distracted and blushing. Nonetheless, after some five minutes, the Hag came out of her ponderings with something to say back.

¨You are right, I said it¨ She did feel her life purpose having been defeated. There was no excuse she could make to say that he wasn't right, not that she could think off. After that, she even felt that the devotion she had given was false, seeing as she hadn't made, in her mind, the ultimate self-sacrifice to help those Gods who she claimed to serve.

¨However¨ Xiao Fan already smiled, but when the however came out of her mouth the smile went down a little ¨However, Fei Sun here can be my child to the Gods. She has the potential to dwarf me in terms of knowledge and to do that in no time¨ She reasoned that she might have failed, but she wouldn't want to sacrifice the potential Fei Sun had in her.

¨You just came to the same question¨ Xiao Fan had thought that there would be a stronger argument in there, not an argument that just came back to the same question.

¨No it is not. The peak can never be reached if the person has the slightest imperfection¨ She claimed this.

¨What is one peak expert against tens of people who are only a few per cent weaker¨ Xiao Fan wanted to laugh, but not wanting to anger the Hag he didn't, only smiled.

¨But perfection!¨ She claimed.

¨Perfection is only helpful if one can get there, and even then it is not invincible at all¨

¨Perfection can attract the attention of the Gods!¨ She claimed this in an even higher tone.

¨What can the Gods do for you?¨ Xiao Fan knowing one God asked this, as he was interested. Furthermore, for if it was nothing, the Hag wouldn't be this unreasonable.

¨That is not for you to know invader¨ The Hag noted.

¨Isn't your perfection candidate Fei Sun? How can she be perfect if she is an invader? ¨ With her logic, Fei Sun wouldn't know her own purpose either ¨Do you know?¨ He even asked her.

Fei Sun shook his head.

¨Argh! If there is a perfect Shaman we can raise this place back into the realm it belongs to!¨ The Hag had enough and blurted it out.
