The future conflicts 2

The Holy Coalition base.

¨Fei Sun carry me to the porch¨ The Hag lying on a bed spoke.

¨You shouldn't move now¨ Fei Sun was mostly back to normal, yet didn't get off her chair or stop what she was doing when hearing her Master wanting to move.

¨It's something important¨ The Hag understood what she was saying, yet this wasn't the want of a gramma 'This... what is this?' She sensed a wrong in the world.

'Sure it's always something important' Nevertheless, she stopped the crafting she was doing and went to get the Hag.

Moments later, the Hag getting a piggyback ride was looking inland, towards a certain spot from which she sensed this anomaly that didn't belong here ¨Can you sense it?¨

¨Very faintly¨

¨Good. We should prepare for what is to come¨ The Had was pleased that Fei Sun could note this.

¨Should I call the Chiefs?¨

¨Yes. We might have lost the last battle, but we can not stay here and take no action with this event¨ It was again about the fact that people could be replaced the land not.

¨Everyone?¨

¨Everyone who is willing or unwilling, at this point, we can't rely on people who are eager to die¨ 'So what if you won the last battle, so what if you have more men, so do we' The losses during the first battle weren't anything major, and they still had more.

A few hours later every Chief who had survived the battle had come here and many others, new faces, not seen during the battle; nevertheless the room of the Hag was filled to the brim with Chiefs.

The Hag still in bad condition lied in the middle of them on the bed, talking to them ¨Whatever, I sense happening over that direction is something that shouldn't be¨ The Hags condition was so bad that it was Fei Sun who showed the direction before the Hag continued ¨We should send some of you to see what is happening there and eliminate it¨

A few of the Chiefs took a look at the direction, yet got nothing. They sensed nothing as expected while others began to question the Hag ¨She shouldn't be here either... maybe she knows something?¨ A man who wasn't old, yet looked weak as a feather spoke.

¨At this point, she is one of us¨ The Hag didn't want to talk for the umpteenth time how others questioned her new follower ¨She stays, no matter how many times you speak ill of her¨

¨Whatever, I don't like her¨ The frail and not too pleasing faced man then looked at Fei Sun, who when feeling being watched took a look at this Chief, and though he was many Realms higher in terms of cultivation, she didn't yield.

¨Is it wise to criticise a person who might as well kill you a few years later?¨ The Hag sometimes couldn't but think how stupid these people were.

¨Continue¨ The Chief took his eyes off Fei Sun who hadn't stopped staring back at him for a moment.

¨Some of you who hadn't taken part in the last fight go and see what is going on, if it's too much come back¨ There was no commanding these people more, it was better just to show them the direction to charge towards and let them do whatever they did.

¨I'll go too. I need to solve some things with one of the invaders¨ The Chief with the wolf headdress wanted to fight Wang Geming.

¨This isn't their doing¨ Fei Sun next to the Hag explained.

¨Then who is doing that?¨ If it wasn't those new people invading their place, then who was it?

¨I do not know, but it isn't them, so if you are going to look for a sworn enemy or something chances are low you'll find him¨ Her senses might not be as sharp as her Master's, but she somehow knew that the red cloud of smoke she saw wasn't the Bald Eagle Dynasty's work.

Indeed, it wasn't their doing, as the person behind this was Qian Ki who had finished the gathering of ingredients.

¨Which one of you lovebirds wants to go first?¨ Qian Ki inside her hiding place had begun a ritual that would raise her cultivation a Grade, or something like that. She had no actual idea, but so the voices in her head told her, and she followed.

¨Take me first¨ The lovebirds she was referring to were the two cultivators she had captured before. And the man had some luck, for he had succeeded in his efforts, though their union in the mortal plane was to be a short-lived one.

¨Hero till the end. I hope that you have a good afterlife together¨ She then without talking more grabbed the man's head and started dragging him, ignoring the screams of the other lovebird.

A few rooms later, she came with the ingredient to a room that was filled with the same cultivators he had seen before; however, every one of them was now dead and in the most excruciating ways.

¨Do your worst to me, but let her die quickly¨ The man still played the hero.

Qian Ki took a moment to think ¨Sure, but you'll have to stay alive for a moment, you can't just give up, okay?¨ In the end, she was a human, mostly, maybe?

¨Anything¨

¨Good¨ After that, Qian Ki threw the man's body towards one of the walls, though this wall was a little special since it was filled with spikes that skewered the man's body thrown at them ¨Now remember no dying before I let you¨ 'I'll keep the deal if he truly sustain the pain he needs' Then after that thought, she got to work.

A work of slaughter of humans like they were cattle which would soon produce a red smoke floating over her hiding place. This smoke would then alert everyone else to the event happening, but it would be a little later compared to the Holy Coalition who had the Shaman to point this out for them.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

'What?' Zhuan An woke up to someone knocking onto their door loudly. Getting up she first took a look at Xiao Fan still sleeping 'Good. He didn't wake up from that' She then went over to the door and opened it ever so slightly.

For some reason whoever was on the other side came barging in, scaring Zhuan An who was even for her in too few clothes to be shown to others ¨Out, out, out!¨ She screamed and used the door to block her figure.

Zhuan An might not have seen the person who would come into their room like that, but there was only one person she could think of.

Wang Geming had barged into the room, yet he quickly noted from the yelling and from the fact that Xiao Fan was in deep sleep that he shouldn't have done this.

¨OUT! OUT! OUT! Can't you understand!¨ Yet him figuring out things needed louder yelling to realise to get out off the room before he insulted Xiao Fan or Zhuan An.

He dipped back onto the other side of the door.

¨What's going on?¨ Xiao Fan, who slept his face in the pillows asked. The yelling had made him wake up from the slumber he would have liked to continue.

'Stupid Prince!' Zhuan An cursed when she realised that Xiao Fan had got up because of him ¨The Prince has something urgent for you...¨ Her tone saying this wasn't too pleased, and her voice loud enough to let the Prince on the other side of the door know.

¨Wang Geming has something for me? I better get going then¨ Hearing he was needed, he didn't linger on the bed and started to get ready.

¨No need, take your time!¨ Came a voice from the other side.

¨No, no, just wait a minute, and I'll come out¨ Xiao Fan argued back, not letting the Prince wait for him.

'Stupid Prince, stupid Prince' The third person in all of this cursed Wang Geming since he had made so much trouble for Xiao Fan already, and now he was asking more before he had even gotten a full night of sleep.

¨It might be something quick¨ Xiao Fan seeing her face that wasn't too happy knew what to do, and so he came to her, where he gave her a kiss.

A kiss which worked wonders on Zhuan An, who after getting that wasn't too angry anymore ¨See you¨ And a small hug later he left the room wherein she happily got onto the bed to think of things she thought of.

Closing the door behind him, he saw Wang Geming in front, and behind him, the men who were the closest to him or the most powerful.

¨You can't barge into the rooms of others like that¨ He opened up with this and shaking his head. Sure it might be day already but give a break.

¨How about leaving my cousin to die? Is that okay?¨ Wang Geming spoke, yet his tone wasn't angry, thankfully.

¨He had bodyguards, dozens of them, he could have easily done something other than die¨ Xiao Fan wasn't going to be taking the blame for the death of Yi Xiaojian.

¨I'm not blaming you¨ He was freed of any suspicions before those words anyway, but Wang Geming leaned forward to whispering.

¨When the time comes I'll be aware of that¨ He got the idea he had been whispered, anyways, he had thought of this himself already.

¨Now, to the real topic we came looking for you¨

'Surely you weren't coming for that...' He knew that no one cared for the death of Yi Xiaojian.

¨There is something you should see¨ Wang Geming then took off with the others, Xiao Fan joining them.

They walked over to the outside and climbed up scaffoldings that were made next to the tower to be used as a guard tower? He didn't really know since he hadn't seen these.

¨How long was I out?¨

¨Not for long. We just made these¨ Wang Geming above him explained, then following that and a few more levels upwards so that they were above the tree line he spoke again ¨Have any idea what that is?¨

Wang Geming didn't point it out, but there was little that he could mean because it was most likely that huge red pillar of smoke.

At first, he didn't think much, but soon he felt a poke in his head? 'Wait? Was that what I think it was?' The poke he felt in his brain wasn't the contract with Cao Cao... 'Qian Ki?' The feeling he felt was from the spot he had whatever he got from Qian Ki when they were touching their heads.

'Is she here? Why would she? Why come here? Does she know something? I need to go and help her!' The last thought he had came because the spot in his head had made him think so. It was the same feeling he had when battling with her, but now it was telling him that he needed to go there?

However, this didn't ease his thinking because he didn't even know if it was truly Qian Ki, or was this him going mad or something else?

To clear this, he tried to think more, yet one thought took over all his thinking 'I must go help her. I must go help her' No matter what he tried to think, would it make him repeat this notion over and over again.

'I'm I possessed by those same thoughts as she? Is it like this to her? Always?' He didn't really note this, but he was already a hundred per cent sure that the person behind that red smoke was Qian Ki.
