Luan Lyn, defeated, again.

Xiao Fan didn't understand nor know where the notion had come at first, but he had still followed said notion during the clash of swords with Luan Lyn.

So, he released one hand from the grip. That hand then prepared for his dash under the blades while his hand still gripping on the sword did its own thing.

His body with a sudden burst of strength pushed the Body Weapon of Luan Lyn upwards with his own.

Luan Lyn didn't react to this change in direction on time, and so Xiao Fan's push succeeded. And as that part succeeded did the body of Xiao Fan slip right through the crack in his opponent's defence.

Luan Lyn's eyes looking upwards from the sudden change in motion didn't note this, for now, the only thing he noted was the blade of Xiao Fan down. 'He gave up?' Was the first assumption Luan Lyn made since he thought that Xiao Fan had lost the strength to resist him longer.

Luan Lyn couldn't have been more wrong as the very next second he felt how a hand was tightening its grip on his throat.

'I lost again?' Luan Lyn was quick to realise this before roaring in anger, "Fuck!" He couldn't believe that this had happened, again. He had lost to this guy, a second time, and he was a Grade lower than him! Yet, as the hand surely wasn't a ghost, he dropped his own sword to the ground.

It was a sign of surrender.

*Clink Clank* The sword fell to the ground, sounding his surrender to Xiao Fan, who in turn, eased his grip around Luan Lyn's throat a little.

Luan Lyn might not be the brightest person, but he still knew when it was the time to surrender. Right now was one of those times.

"I did say that I would end this." Speaking so, Xiao Fan withdrew his own sword into the sheath on his waist.

Luan Lyn didn't respond; he was too focussed in his inner dialogue to do so.

Before Luan Lyn, in his anger and frustration, spoke more, the lackeys he had wanted to call to his aid, seeing this did the same. Slowly but surely the side of Luan Lyn began to disarm themselves.

The fight was over, and they had lost.

Xiao Fan himself, during this time, got to think what he had done. 'I get to feel the same as Qian Ki?' he wondered, his head glancing at Qian Ki, who knowing of what had passed nodded, though it was an uncertain nod.

It was an uncertain nod, for Qian Ki didn't really understand what had transpired, but she had discerned that Xiao Fan had done something that was only possible for a Spawn of Devil like herself. At least it had been so far as now Xiao Fan had somehow broken that rule.

'That burst of strength was definitely something that I would do... but how could he do it?' Qian Ki pondered and while in a state of heightening interest, she let go of the burly man kissing the ground. More important things awaited her.

Coming over, she watched the heavily breathing Xiao Fan, especially his face and eyes showing an excited expression of a kid seeking praise from his parents.

But now, wasn't the time to talk of this in more detail, that would be reserved for later. Furthermore, Luan Lyn finally came out with some new words, "Let go of me."

This time his tone wasn't too commanding, and so Xiao Fan decided to do so. 'He did surrender already... Surely he wouldn't start anything, for the third time, right?' This in mind, he dropped the body of Luan Lyn back to the ground.

However, he wasn't going to do this for charity. To do so, he needed something as compensation for all this trouble. "I'll take this for myself," he stated with a tone that wasn't going to negotiate as his hand took the Body Sword of Luan Lyn for himself.

'Absolute humiliation.' Luan Lyn didn't like this at all, yet what could he do? "Take it! I'll get a better sword soon anyway." So, he agreed and while stating his agreement showed a painless expression.

"Good that you understand." Then to add insult into injury, Xiao Fan ripped the sheath on Luan Lyn's hip and wore it himself. Doing this, he was making it sure that Luan Lyn nor anyone else would dare to do anything inappropriate to Fei Sun while he was away.

From this, Luan Lyn seemed to be angry, noted by a furious glare on his face, yet he didn't think of raising his hand against Xiao Fan right now. No matter how humiliating this was, he knew that it could be a lot, a lot, worse than this.

As the youths were coming to ¨an agreeement¨ was everything suddenly disrupted by a newcomer. "Who is attacking my son!" From the way the newcomer shouted, Xiao Fan knew that this person was Luan Len.

'This is unlucky,' Xiao Fan inwardly sighed. Unlike last time, it would appear that this time, Luan Len was on top of things when it came to the situation of his son.

The Chief in question, barging into the scene, firstly focussed onto the youth, who had his son's sword sheathed on his hip. "Who are you? And what do you think you are doing?" Luan Len came right next to Xiao Fan; one could say that he came too close since the space between them was less than the length of a forearm.

Yet, this didn't face Xiao Fan, who knew his own position. "I am the diplomat sent over here by the Bald Eagle Dynasty, so get out of my face!" His hand tried to push away the Chief.

Unlike the unsuccessful action of his hand, his words sent a more affecting message.

For the words, he spoke were just enough to make Luan Len take a step back. "I heard that you suddenly punched my son in the face? What is your meaning? Is this your meaning of diplomacy?" he repeated the question, which wasn't answered.

"I'm not the one who started this fight"—his head turned towards Luan Lyn next to him—"He started it," he insisted that it was Luan Lyn, whose actions made this fight to break out.

Luan Len, not wanting to ignore the words of the diplomat, questioned his son, "Is this true?" Yet, his words were soft. Luan Len obviously didn't believe in the words of a foreign diplomat.

Under the gaze of Xiao Fan and his father, Luan Lyn, thought of his words for a whole minute before coming out with them, "I did not start the fight."

He didn't give in, shocking Fei Sun, who almost boiled over from such a lie.

Xiao Fan was just as appalled as her and was quick to state, "You certainly did. Do not even think of squirming your way out from the responsibility of your actions!" He hadn't thought that Luan Lyn couldn't be this dishonest. The youth had surrendered so co-operatively the last two times, so why would he now, all of a sudden, began lying?

"One of you is lying." Luan Len spoke the obvious.

The two youths responding to Luan Len speaking this were quick to point fingers at the other. Luan Lyn, having much better success in doing so than Xiao Fan.

A moment of pointing fingers later, Luan Len scratching his head spoke, "You two quiet for now"—his eyes studied everyone else who had taken part in the clash—"You... You... You. Come here" He picked out people from amongst them.

Fei Sun, Qian Ki, the burly man, and few others came over when asked by Luan Len.

When everyone Luan Len had called for was in front of him, he began questioning every single one of them; however, he hadn't expected that everyone would stick to the two stories.

More scratching of his head later, Luan Len came with a verdict, "Give the sword back, and this never happened." He was too confused to come out with an accurate decision. Yet, due to the words that were spoken by the Shaman's apprentice, he couldn't make it too one-sided.

The best case here was to forget it.

"No way!" The person, Luan Len, was the most afraid of wasn't going to take this verdict and voiced her opinion right after hearing him.

"Now now, let's not get too hasty here."

"Not get too hasty? Your son was trying to pick me up in the way one would a prostitute," she continued, walking out of the line, towards Luan Len.

Before replying to her, Luan Len took a look at his son, the person who had caused him this trouble. "Keep the sword." When done with his look that told a thousand words, Luan Len responded to the woman coming close to him.

"No. Your son will have to apologise to me, or I will get my Master to fix this" After seeing, Luan Len try and push this onto Xiao Fan, Fei Sun made sure to make him pay for it.

"That... that can't be done." Luan Len took a step back.

"A simple sorry can't be done?" Fei Sun took a step forward, keeping the distance between them the same.

The woman not easing at all, made Luan Len give up. "I guess he can do that." The person Luan Len was speaking of was, of course, Luan Lyn.

"Good." Getting what she wanted, made Fei Sun drop her push against Luan Len.

Luan Len made a sigh while his son made a gulp. Luan Lyn realising that his own father had ditched him wasn't handling it too well. 'Father!' he screamed inside of him.

Yet, his father only looked back at his desperate eyes. Luan Len had figured that it would be better to ditch his son than to risk tarnishing the reputation of the whole family.

"Not so cocky anymore? What happened? Nobody got your back anymore?" Fei Sun, walking over from the father, started to ridicule the son.

'He's going to be a poor bastard after today.' Watching this go down from the side, Xiao Fan was happy, his lips curling up into a smile.

Still, Fei Sun's lips had curled up more, her ear waiting to hear the apology from this deviant.

Luan Lyn's eyes glanced at Fei Sun getting ever closer, then one more time over to his father, yet Luan Len was still the same. With no hope in sight, he knew that he had to bend here and apologise.

"I'm sorry." Luan Lyn spoke fast as he could, a hand over his mouth. Yet his words were still heard by everyone, his lackeys and some peddlers included.

If the words weren't pronounced fast enough for them not to hear, everyone in Ulaanbaatar would soon know, and he hadn't spoken them fast enough.

"Hmph." Fei Sun retreated, the victorious smirk on her face only grew when she heard that everyone had already started to talk of Luan Lyn apologising for his mistake.

"Were leaving." Nevertheless, when she came over to Xiao Fan and Qian Ki whispering to each other, she voiced that they would be leaving the bazaar for today.

No one disagreed with her.

Walking back to her place, Xiao Fan, after chatting of other topics, asked her, "Everything fine?"

"I'm fine. Glad you came to help me."

'Oh? Did she just thank me? Well, this is good.' Keeping these thoughts to himself, Xiao Fan didn't ask more. If she was actually thankful towards him, he would leave it here.

By the time he had opened up, they were just by the entrance of the temple, so that he could make a quick retreat. But now that it wasn't needed someone else used the timing.

"Fan'er, you are still coming with me, right?" Qian Ki hadn't forgotten the words he had uttered earlier today.
