Overtake [35]

[knock knock!]

The king heard someone outside knocking the giant door that separated death from the people inside the throne room.

"who goes there! I have guards back off!" The king shouted, as he was sweating buckets due to the kings fat body.

He trembled in fear, gripping the throne's armrest tightly. Outside the windows were filled with smoke, the inside was dark as if it was already night time.

[awww, your majesty you're suppose to say who's there" he answered outside.]

"I said back off!"

He snapped his fingers and suddenly the giant door that seemed to be impenetrable broke down, as the giant door fell it broke like glasses falling from a high place as if it was turned that way.

What came seemed to be a male humanoid demon with a pair of black and sharp horns pointing upwards, with white skin like a vampire, a well kept hair and red eyes more red than any roses you could find.

After he entered more of those beast followed him inside, all of them were different, some had lion heads, some had snake heads, some had fur, and some had flesh. They were different in sizes, especially behind the demon who entered.

A large foot just outside the giant door that once fell, it was too big to enter the room, judging from the number of giant foots outside there seemed to be only two.

"guards kill it!" the king shouted

The guards hesitated at first, but they rushed in still shaking in fear. As they went in closer the demon made a small gesture, asking them to shoo, the guards then were sent flying by an unknown force, sending them flying towards the giant windows behind the king, making them fall to their deaths.

The demon then suddenly appeared in front of the king, the demon looked into the kings eyes. The king backed off right at the edge of the now broken windows, if he were to step back he would also suffer the same fate like his guards.

[so sweaty... Your Majesty" he chuckled when he finished his sentence.]

[marvelous castle you have here, tell me Your Majesty, do you happen to know where your treasurey?] he smiled in front of the king.

"over my dead body" the king answered with a serious tone.

[mmm... Alright!]

The demon again made a gesture, suddenly the king went off balanced and he fell to his death, the scream went on for 10 seconds and it stopped followed by a large thump noise, with a pinch of bone breaking noises.

The demon went to look down at the ground and shouted at a small corpse, you could barely even see it due to the sheer heights of the castle.

[there! Over your dead body!] he stared smiling at it for a while then he suddenly turned around with a different expression, a more serious expression.

[locate the treasury] the demon said to one of his many subordinates.

He took a quick short glance at the empty throne, he planned to sit in it but he saw a slight glimmer at the seat, it was actually the sweat reflecting the light, disgusted he was, he didn't even used his hands to destroy it so he used his foot. As his foot landed on the throne, it instantly broke like glasses, it seems like he could make anything behave light glass.

[who would want to sit in this... Toilet]

"where the hell are they going?!"

Like a huge hive, all of the demons quickly and at the exact same tune went to the castle. Even the demons that were about to kill someone did not hesitate to go to the castle as well. In no time at all the huge kingdom was quiet, The people did not know what they were planning or why they went towards the castle.

Of course the people ran away went they had the chance but for those who were too confused stayed, the ones who stayed heard a voice in their heads.

[100 seconds for you to run, good luck, especially for those who are weak willed..... 1!]

"nnggh?! The hell!?"

"what the?"

People suddenly collapsed like corpses each time he counted, those who ran first were the ones that were collapsing, those who weren't as panicked as the others stayed. The Kingdom wide message affected all of the people.

The people viewed from at top looked like ants when they were in panicked, the demon really enjoyed the view while he was counting.

People continued to drop like flies and in time all of the people went outside the walls of the kingdom.

[49.... 49 it is, could've been higher but I guess humans were built solely for running away]

He looked down upon the kingdom he now fully controlled, the streets looked empty. He only saw grid like patterns since he was so high up the castle, everything looked like miniature figures to him, easy to remove and easy to control.
