Missing [60]

It felt like the party ran a whole marathon, their faces turned into the color apple due to the long walk/running, their faces also covered in sticky sweat except for Egam who simply flew throughout the trip. In the horizon they saw a distant town, finally a place to rest everyone thought except for Egam. The relieving feeling of seeing drinkable water after a long journey through a desert filled their heads with joy, they started to pace up their walking speed for the sake of getting there faster or maybe they were just impatient.

They quickly found a dirt road to follow, random carts and carriages passed by them and people walking on the dirt road with them. It's certain that the sense of society was slowly increasing, like the dirt road having more traffic.

"don't you think that your sword is misbehaving?" Sieg asked out of nowhere

"I got lucky buying this, besides it's the only thing we have that makes us go somewhere.. If not for this I couldn't have found you and Egam" Sarya answered with confidence

"yeah right..." Sieg mumbled

"hey! Stop that boar for us!" A young man shouted

Plowing through the fields like an unstoppable bull, the giant boar that was half a person's height and almost the size of a fully grown bull, Its size is no joke to be laughed at. If you were a normal person, getting hit right on the belly would be fatal for you, your organs would just simply turn into liquid meat.

It was running directly towards Kai at full ramming speed, the giant boar gave no signs of stopping but the same goes for Kai, he didn't gave any signs of moving away but instead he slightly raised his leg as if he was about to catch a soccer ball slowly rolling towards him. Still the boar didn't stop and it rushed in even faster to blow away Kai, it was now too late... for the boar.

Kai's legs didn't move an inch, the boar's seemingly unstoppable charge was turned into something meager. It was like a speeding car that was about to crash on a mountain, the car will be destroyed beyond repair but for the giant mountain, it would simply be a simple scratch.

The giant boar collapsed, suddenly stopping from a full charge to a dead stop would be devastating for your body. Kai returned casually his leg, it was left unscathed even though it took the full force of the charge, you could even tell that his legs can rival iron.

"dang bro, it looks like you never skipped leg day" the young man said to Kai as he jogged towards him

"leg day?" Kai asked

"that's not important... do I have to pay you for this?" the young man replied while admiring the dead giant boar

"no need" Kai answered without much of an expression

The young man seemed to be your daily adventurer, not much going for him including his adventurer friends who were with him. The young man kept admiring the giant boar while Kai and the rest went back towards their way to the town.

With her face slammed against the table she waited for her order like the rest. Even as the only hero throughout the entire world, she wasn't surrounded by the townsfolk instead she looked like your average female adventure.

Your typical hero would be fashioned with the most greatest armor, the most greatest weapon, and the most greatest comrades and yet Sarya only had basic leather armor, a good but misbehaving sword and decent comrades to rely upon. She was far out from the capital so no one recognized her, soon her face will spread around the world but with Bianca who is currently disguised as the hero will probably be surrounded by a large army with her being fitted with the most greatest armor, the most greatest weapon, and the most greatest comrades.

"your order miss... Your order sir, yours sir and yours miss" the waiter said as he steadily placed each of their orders on the wooden table

They kindly thanked the waiter and proceeded to eat peacefully, they were located at the outskirts of town, they ate at the back area of a small restaurant so they had a good view of the forest that was only a ten second walk. However there was something wrong, inside of the forest was dark even though it was noon so the sun was at its highest point and yet it's still dark as if it was evening.

Kids were playing a ball game just near the forest, Sarya watched the innocent children playing with their friends while chewing her food. After even finishing her meal, she continued watching like a spectator watching a game.

"hey we should go now" Sieg asked while standing up to leave

"wait, I played this game when I was a kid.. It looks like the game is about to end and I'm willing to see the end of it, besides.. Let's give our stomach time to digest the food" Sarya answered while her eyes are glued to the game.

"... Your half correct I guess" Sieg replied while slowly placing his butt back on the chair

The three chatted while Sarya still kept her close attention to the ongoing game. finally after a short while, the game was done.

"dang it" the kid mumbled as he kicked the ball out of slight anger

Unfortunately, the ball went to the forest and behind a tree. The kid quickly went to grab it, Sarya watched all of this happening. The kid went behind the tree to grab the ball but he was out of view, Sarya normally expected the kid to return with his ball so she waited... and waited... and waited but the kid didn't return.

She was a bit concerned, it was already pass ten seconds but the kid was nowhere to be seen. The other kids he was playing with also noticed so they checked to investigate but they didn't go near the tree, he wasn't there so the kids ran off to tell this to their parents.
