"the hell?"

He managed to slip through inside the building using his skill shadow step, the grey angel also followed him by going down the whirlpool of fire then appearing from another whirlpool but this time it's inside the building. As he emerged from the shadows he opened his eyes and stumbled upon something interesting, so much so that Ferris's attention got hooked almost immediately. Giant blackboards that required ladders to climb were chaotically scattered around a large room with each of them filled with math stuff that could make your brain go instantly numb from all the numbers your brain takes in just by looking at it.

If you're an adult who has experienced math class before then you'd certainly get some pretty horrible flashbacks, the blackboards were filled with numbers and random fancy symbols that almost seemed to be runes. The ground was littered with books relating to mathematics and maybe a couple science stuff like physics or quantum mechanics none of which Ferris knew or even heard about. It seems like the person who filled all of those innocent blackboards with an endless supply of chalk must be sniffing some weird white powder, that's probably chalk powder well who knows.

(if this is what people learn in college then I'd kill myself on the first day..) he thought while thanking God that he didn't went to college

Just as he went behind one of the large blackboards he saw a man standing on a ladder while writing in ridiculous speeds, luckily his body instantly reacted by quickly and quietly hiding.

"damn, if only chalks lasted a bit more.. Hey! You there, behind the blackboard... get me a few chalks will ya?" the man asked

Ferris was sure that he moved like a sneaky cat, making little to no noise. His eyes stretched open and his swallowed his nervous saliva, he was too distracted by the giant blackboards so he didn't really bother to check for any magical presence nearby. He didn't move one bit and he activated his stealth as well just to make sure, maybe he called for a colleague? He thought. He waited and waited and the man who called for him got a bit impatient.

"I know your hiding behind there! Now be a kind lad and help an old man out like me by getting the chalk"

Ferris slowly and cautiously went out from the shadows and disabled his stealth.

"how do you know I was here?" Ferris asked

"chit chat later. Math goes first now get me the chalk"

Ferris was surprised about the man's reaction, a stranger coming in without permission would certainly set off some red flags but the man didn't react to much, instead he began ordering the stranger around as if Ferris was like a teacher's pet. Ferris for what ever reason did as he was told, he threw a few chalks at the man and he catched them all with ease like a professional catcher. Without hesitation the man immediately went back to what ever he was doing while Ferris simply stood there without any words to say.

There's no word or sentence that Ferris could think to describe the situation he was pulled into, he couldn't talk to him since the old man was busy writing equations or something, all he could do was simply wait to see what happens.

"?"

After the weird encounter with the old man, his senses was actually being used passively so he sensed a magical presence approaching from a door not to far from where he's at. It was small so it clearly wasn't a threat, but who could this new person be? Maybe another man that's equally or more weird than the first man Ferris just met. All in all he was still down to see who it is.

"nNngh... Dad.. Where do I put this"

A girl that carried boxes of chalk, some coffee powder and some biscuits, all contained in boxes. The boxes stacked up to the point that it was even taller than her, her face was covered but her tiny female strength can only hold so much weight. Her legs shook as she let out high pitched grunts since she was a girl.

"oi, be a gentlemen and help my daughter" the man said while still writing in ridiculous speeds

Ferris was a little shocked again when the man ordered him again but he had the urge to do it, it seems like his adoptive father's teaching of being nice was tightly locked in his mind like a screw, Ferris followed his orders again. the tall stack of boxes was tipping from side to side like a ship in a heavy rainstorm, if this isn't stopped then the chalks inside the boxes would fall and most likely break and make a mess of solid milk on the ground.

"there... is it fine now?" Ferris asked as he took some of the boxes and effortlessly carried more than half of it

"ah..yes thank you" she said

Her face was in view now, she had a long yellow hair that reached her back, a pair of large round glasses. Her face was the definition of pure, she had a well kept body and a nicely sized pair of

"there!" the man interrupted

He suddenly stopped writing, it seemed like he was satisfied for now so he slowly made his way down the ladder like a kid climbing off a very tall tree, actually he didn't climb down, he actually slid down to cut alot of time but that doesn't matter because Ferris has some questions to be answered or rather, Ferris is ganna be the one being questioned.
