TeamWork IS DreamWork!

Luke, Miles, and Majesty, all in euphoria. Slowly sipping on their coke, slouching in their chairs, bloated.

Empty boxes littered the dining table. Plates? Empty! 2-liter coke bottle? Empty! Stomach? Full!

Aye, That's all that matters!

Looking at his phone, Luke glanced over to Miles and asked, "When are we going to start that homework of yours? *burb* It's 4 o'clock."

For the past hour and a half, they have been getting to know each other more, becoming friends. Talking about various topics whilst eating delicious pizza, sharing memes, and laughs alike. It was a very joyous lunch for all three of them.

Miles' expression soon changed for the worse. He had wasted too much time. Looking over to Majesty, his new friend, he pleaded, "Majesty, would you mind helping me with something? It won't take that long, I promise."

"Nah, I have to work, I don't have time to sit around anymore."

Majesty didn't seem like she had any plans of helping. Finishing her coke, she got up from her seat, picking up her coat, she continued, "I gotta go, thank you for the free meal, Miles, Luke. I hope to see you around." She waved her hand and started walking out.

Miles hurriedly got up from his seat, getting in front of her.

"Wait, wait, wait! Please help me with my homework, we don't actually have to do them. Just copying them down. Simple, right? Friends help each other, right?"

Like a sly little fox, Miles tried to guilt-trip her into helping him.

"Hmmm?" She hummed in contemplation while her eyes wandering around.

Like an absolute savage, she brushed past Miles, advancing towards the front door.

See that she wasn't falling for petty tricks, Miles had to pull out his Trump Card.

Money!

"Two hundred! Think about it for a second! Please." Miles had his back to the front door, blocking her from leaving.

"HMmmm!..." Putting up a thinking pose, she thought long and hard for a few seconds as a victorious smile painted her face. "You got a deal, my friend!" She did a 180, skipping back into the living room while humming a sweet tone.

'Ugh! I spent 300 bucks total, just on homework! I better get straight A's or amma be pissed off.'

He soon walked back to the living room, finding the dining table spotless. Luke was sitting on the sofa, watching Dragon Ball.

"Let's wash our hands first, we'll join Luke on the sofa and discuss how we'll go about this after." Miles told Majesty.

...

Gathered on the sofa, Miles began to tell them about his master plan.

"SO, the plan is we split the work between the three of us, I will work on the online stuff, ya'll work on the worksheets.

There's one rule we have to follow. NEVER. COPY. WORD-FOR-WORD. You got that?

Make mistakes; when copying, always be sure to make your answers different from the person you're copying from.

You never want to copy word for word when it comes to short responses, just write the answer in your own words. We good? We good! wait a sec! lemme bring them here."

Miles quickly ran to his room, he walked to the window side of his bedroom where he had his PC Gaming setup. There was a white marble desk placed there, where he had his dual monitor setup. Opening up the bottom-most cabinet, he took out his stickered up Mac Book Pro.

"Yosh! Now let's check if everything has printed."

Looking towards the printer, placed to the right side of his desk, against the corner. There were 20+ sheets of paper printed.

"Yosh! Let me get a couple of pencils and we good!"

Returning to the living room, he placed all the tools, papers, and his Mac Book on the spotless dining table.

"Ight, get your asses here, we finna kill this!" Miles exclaimed enthusiastically, his eyes shined bright as if a fire was burning inside them.

'Amma murder this shit! This ain't nothing fo yo boi, I'm finna slap the shit out these little fuckers today!' Miles thought to himself, getting in the mood, turning his anger into motivation.

"Whoa! Wait! let me see this for a second!" Majesty said with visible shock in her voice and face. She quickly looked through the stack of paper on the table

Her eyes widened even more. Some of these papers were double-sided.

'Hell no, there's no way we can finish this in one day, much less in a couple of hours.'

"Yeah, no amount of money can make me do this much work! I quit!" She stated, raising her hands in defeat, shaking her head.

"How can you quit before you even try! I paid you on top of that!" Miles retorted with his arms crossed.

"Besides... It's mostly multiple choice for you. Luke will be doing most of the written work, which is much worse. Come on, we got this!" Miles said convincingly.

"Ugh... fine... You better not dump an essay on me." Majesty said, taking a seat on the dining table.

Miles started separating the work between the three of them.

Luke: English and History.

Majesty: Math and Science.

Miles: Everything else.

'Why the hell do I have GYM homework?! The fuck is cardiovascular exercises? How the hell am I supposed to know what aerobic exercises are? It's an exercise just figuring these things out.'

"Luke! Get ur ass over here, we're starting!" Miles yelled in Luke's direction. Luke was still on the sofa, chilling, watching more Dragon Ball. He turned off the Tv in the middle of an epic yelling scene where Goku starts his power up ritual once again.

"Ight, ight, I heard you. Chill." Luke said calms as he walked over to the pile of homework on the table.

"Hey wait, by any chance, do you go to Madison?" Majesty asked Miles.

"Yeah, what about it?" Miles responded cluelessly, shrugging his shoulders.

"Ohh, I go there too!" Majesty said smiling.

Miles froze for a second, "Wait... WHAT?! Repeat that again? I'm pretty sure I didn't hear correctly." Miles exclaimed loudly as various thoughts went through his mind. Leaning over the table, holding a cupped-hand behind his ear, he waited for her to repeat what she had said, just to make sure he's not crazy.

"I said, I go to Madison too, same as you"

'Huh?! How come I've not seen this baddy once in my life! There's no way I could have missed her, unless... she looked ugly as hell before and had a glow-up during the quarantine. Wait... that's impossible.'

"Have you always gone to Madison since freshman year?"

"No, this is my first year. In fact, this my first year living in the Big Apple." She shrugged her shoulders. She seemed really excited about being in New York though, smiling as she mentioned it.

"Huh? What?... You're not from here?" Miles got even more bamboozled.

"No, I'm from Florida." She clarified to him.

'What. The. Actual. Fuck!'

Miles' mind was a clusterfuck now.

...

"How d'you know I go to Madison tho? I never said it, did I?" Miles asked curiously.

"Ohh! We have some same classes, so I recognized the homework." Majesty responded.

"Ohh cool."

They talked whilst doing their job, helping Miles cheat.

"Miles, we're friends, right?" Majesty asked, stopping her writing, raising her head, she made eye contact with Miles.

Miles stopped typing on the keyboard and met her eyes. "Yeah, what is it?"

"Could I borrow some of these? I haven't finished them either, please! Pretty please with a cherry on top!" Majesty shamelessly asked as she took hold of Miles' hands, not letting them go as she begged with tears welling up in her eyes combined with a sad puppy look.

Completely unaffected, Miles deadpanned as he ruthlessly took his hand back, crushing her hopes.

"No, and I don't like cherries either."

"Wha! You don't like cherries?! — I mean, why don't you let me borrow them, I'll give it back to you at school tomorrow, I promise! If you say no, then I'm going to leave, have a nice day."

Just as she was about to get up, Miles pulled her hand down along with the rest of her body, seating her once more.

"Fine, but make sure to give them to me tomorrow morning." Miles went back to typing after he said that. They had a long way to go before everything gets done.

(3 Hours Later...)

"See You! Get home safe!" Miles and Luke waved goodbye to Majesty as she left.

Turning around, she responded with a wave of her own and a few words.

"Thank you! And Miles, see you at school tomorrow!"

Smiling, she turned around and left.

Watching her fading figure, Luke brought up something to Miles, asking him sarcastically, "How do you feel champ? You got the phone number of your crush. What an absolute victory!"

It pissed miles off but knew better than to show it, asking, "You done yet?"

Luke continued on, clearly trying to piss off Miles.

"Let me not forget your 200 dollar donation, such a chad move, sexualizing a minor. HAhahhahaaha!" Luke couldn't stop laughing. He had seen how Miles was checking out Majesty before. There was no way he wasn't going to bring it up now.

*tsk* "I wasn't sexualizing her... now get ur bitch ass inside before I slap the shit out you!" Miles said as he pushed Luke inside and locked the door. They still have a lot of work to do and it seems like it will be a restless night for both of them, one filled with a lot of caffeine.
