Today many of the students who were going to the beast institute were very nervous, as today was beast trainers test for measuring their talent in being beastmasters as their whole life depends on that test of beastmasters.

Sam was also among those students who were nervous because of this test as last month he turned seventeen, thus he was also eligible for the test. Thus he even went and took one day leave from all the workplaces for today as he wanted to be completely free from stress and any workload.

While Sam was going to the institution he was highly worried about core stone. As his family has severe money problem and hardly any money was left after daily expenditure thus he didn't tell either of his uncle and aunt about this test. Because if he told them that today is his test, then he was hundred per cent sure that if needed they would even sell their house to get him the best core stone in the base. Another reason for not telling them was that he himself was not confident that he could become a beastmaster with above-average talent and could become a top-level beastmaster in future. Thus he didn't want them to spend any money on core stone until the test results came.

while the institution recommends all the students to bring their own crystals for each element for convenience and performance as if one gains any pet beast they can't change forever in their life, that pet becomes bound to them. but last year as many students who were not aware couldn't bring any core stone thus the institution reluctantly provided the lowest grade 1st stage core stone for the test as lower the grade and stage of the stone lower the probability of getting any pet beast in order to save the future of the candidates.

And same was also hoping that this year also institute will provide free core stones. While Sam was lost in his thoughts he reached the institution gate. The beast institute was made on the old school building from the pre-apocalypse era of the city, as this building was mostly unharmed during the apocalypse thus base authorities decided that it was suitable for opening the beast institute after some repairs.

When Sam reached his classroom nearly all the students were present while today was going to be the test of the beastmasters but it was afternoon when combat classes usually happen. And now was going to be regular classes till noon arrive. Sam quickly found his seat which was in the last row and sat down. Sam didn't really like theory class as he didn't have much interest in it being a teenager he was more interested in fighting but after a strict order from his uncle and aunt, he was forced to study about beast and herbs.

Sam class normally has nearly two-third of girls and only one-third boys as many boys teenagers like him bunked these theoretical classes. But today all the boys in the class has come and the number of boys vastly surpassed the girls.

Being a student who only minded his own business he didn't have many friends or any enemy in the class but a fatso liked to pick on him very much. Sam had a naturally muscular physique and doing all the jobs has only refined it thus he was one of the strongest students in the class. But this fatso was the son of one of the beast researcher of the beast association. But before that fatso father and Sam's uncle were rivals in their job but Sam's uncle had a slight edge on his father thus this fatso always tried to pick on him. In fact, the main reason his uncle was forced to resign was because of this fatso father.

There was one time when this fatso tried to pick on him by insulting his uncle, which made him angry thus he taught this fatso a lesson but this fatso complained to his father which cause his uncle to ask for forgiveness for him after that Sam never replied to his provocation but this only increased fatso courage. And now he was coming to pick on him again.

"What are you doing Sam, sitting all alone, did your disable uncle didn't buy you any core stone" Fatso again tried to provoke him by insulting his uncle.

While Sam didn't want to speak to him but hearing provocation he couldn't control himself and said: "you don't have to worry about me Ronald, at least my uncle didn't cheat someone to buy his son a core crystal but what about your father."

while word said that the evolution of beast t never has a hundred per cent chance to evolve but this fatso father has unbelievable failure rate only three to four out of ten could evolve to next rank while under any other researcher success rate is between seven to nine out of ten. And many costumers claimed that he secretly kept the materials they provided and sometimes he directly increased prices of the material of evolution in case the customer didn't bring his own. There were rumours that he was always able to get away with this because he had some connection in the association which kept him safe.

Fatso was going to reply for this but suddenly teacher for the theoretical class came in the class thus he had no choice but to go back on his seat but before going he threatened Sam "see you in the ground"

Soon class started teacher today was teaching about the weakness of bug type beast and their attacks, but as usual, Sam didn't have any interest in listing to his teacher. He tried to take a nap in the class but his finger which contained a ring was especially itchy today thus he started to rotate the ring in his finger in order to relive this itchiness.

This ring was the last ring from his parents before they disappeared, he still didn't tell his uncle about this ring even when he was asked specifically about the ring. At first, he simply didn't do it because his parents had told him not to but later as he gained understanding he didn't tell because he understood graveness of the situation.

What he was trying to relive this itchiness but for some reason, it was not going away instead the itchiness started to increase. Sam whole finger was now red under this situation from continuous itching, this itching continued for some time until his finger nearly turns bloody. For a moment when itchiness stopped and Sam had just taken a breath of relief. Just then his head suddenly started to hurt severely Sam felt that his head was going to explode from the pain thus he screamed while holding his head and then passed out from the pain but before he passed out he head a sound

when Sam suddenly screamed then at first teacher looked at him with annoyance thought that some student was trying to disturb the class but when he lifted his head and glanced at Sam then within seconds he understood there was something wrong with Sam as his facial expression was looked completely real.

The teacher then quickly ordered two strong students to pick Sam up and send him to take him to the infirmary while he sent another student to call a doctor from his office. Whole-class became complete chaos from the sudden accident of Sam. while everyone was busy trying to take Sam to the infirmary, an inconspicuous ring on the finger suddenly melted inside Sam's finger.

Soon Sam's uncle was called and institution authorities informed him about Sam's status and asked them to come quickly.

Within an hour his uncle including his aunt arrived at the institution and looking at their messed hair anyone could tell they came here while rushing. His uncle was on a wheelchair as he couldn't walk while his aunt was pushing it. Soon they reached infirmary to look at the condition of Sam.

When they reached infirmary they saw a doctor who was trying to check the condition of Sam but as soon as he saw them he stood up and invite them inside. When both of them looked at the Sam lying on the bead they were distressed but soon they found that other than furrowed brow of Sam his body externally looked fine.

Both of them being a doctor at first glance they knew it is not from any external cause but something internal and for complete information they turned to the doctor in the room and asked about Sam's condition. Doctor without wasting time told them the condition of Sam.

according to the doctor, Sam body has no external wound and all the test concluded just before concluded that the condition of Sam was also not caused bt any disease and only cause he could guess was stress as today test was very important and it will definitely affect the development of his future.

Sam's uncle and aunt were shocked that today was such an important test and Sam didn't tell them but in a moment understanding flashed in their eyes as they understood why Sam didn't tell them. But they could only blame themself and wait for Sam to wake up and from their experience, they could tell that Sam will not wake up until evening.

While Sam was admitted to infirmary institution still held their test as for Sam they will test him at a later date when he would get better. While the test continues in the institute grounds.
