Evolution

By the time Sam woke up, it was already near the dawn of the next day. When he woke up and opened his eye and then looked around only to find that he was in his room he was first surprised but then understood that after he fainted his uncle and aunt somehow carried him home to his room. But the most feared thing was that now his uncle and aunt knew he didn't tell them about his test of beast trainers and how they would react to him after knowing that as the person he feared most was his uncle. But he finally steeled his heart and decided to face them.

Now that he solved his immediate problem and it was still some time in the morning. He now thought about what happened to him just before he fainted. He seems to have certain mechanical words but he could pinpoint what he had heard. then he thought about the dream he saw when was fainted ' in that dream, he remembered he saw a bright small but humanoid shaped light was saying to him something in a language he never heard in his whole life.

And when he tried to remember what that figure was saying to him he started to get a headache and fell asleep. By the time he woke up, it was already light on the glass window of his room reminding him that it was already morning.

Soon he freshens up himself and cleared his mind and steeled his heart before opening the gate of his room as he was going for a life and death battle, well for him it definitely was. He then opened the gate of his room and walked into the hall of the house. There his uncle and aunt were sitting and his cousin was most probably still asleep in the room.

When he came to the hall both the adults have already noticed him and looking towards him and facing their gaze Sam was embarrassed inside but he still walked near them. His uncle signed him to sit in front of them. When Sam sat there, inside his heart he knew he was in for a very good lecture but he was also at the fault there for not telling them. After all, they were his guardians.

"Sam, I know you still think about your parents and we are not even intending to take that place they had in your heart, but you should also remember we are your guardians and your father has asked me to take care of you, then why are still treat us as outsiders?" it was his uncle Edward who asked this question with emotional face and voice.

Sam when he heard this was again reminded that he had this time hurt his uncle deeply after all his uncle cared about him too much and, such an important event of his life he didn't tell them and asked for core stone. But he tried to explain with guilt in his face "No, uncle this is not the reason...."

but his uncle cut in when he was explaining "then why didn't you tell us, is it because you think now I am disabled, I can't afford a single core stone for you, or you think your aunt won't buy you a core stone" when his uncle said this then his aunt stared at him with raging eyes as if this was the reason then she will definitely give him peace of a mind.

Sam panicked when he heard this because now things are going in the wrong direction and he needs to clear things out quickly thus he said hurriedly in case his uncle was again going to cut in" No uncle this is not the case, I only wanted to tell you after the test results were out and I became qualified to be a trainer as if I didn't have a good talent then it would definitely be waste of money on the good core" at the end of the sentence he voice became really low as if he didn't want anyone else to hear.

by the time he said a sound of crying sounded in the room of his uncle and aunt and all three of them looked towards the room and immediately his aunt summed her butterfly which nearly double of the human head and mixture of red and yellow colours on its wing and sent it to her room as his cousin liked to be with this butterfly. But when Sam's aunt summoned her butterfly, Sam's eyes were naturally landed on it and he was stunned by what he saw.

When he looked at the butterfly then a voice sounded in his head and a panel appeared in front on him when he concentrated on that panel then it becomes cleared and on it, something was written.

Sam was stunned at this and found it incomprehensible as it was something he hadn't heard and known about. And when he turned his eyes away from the beast that panel disappeared from in front of him. And when he again turned his eyes at that butterfly it again appeared almost like magic. He unconsciously tried to wave his hand at the panel but his hands passed through it as it was nothing.

By the time Sam was doing the hand wave, he saw his uncle aunt both had already turned to his side and saw him doing his hand wave repeatedly like he was trying to touch something in the air. Both of them looked at his strange movement for nearly a minute but could understand what he was trying to touch. Thus Sam's uncle decided to break this silence and asked suspiciously "what are you doing Sam?"

Sam when he heard this he unconsciously answered "light screen"

When both of them heard this strange answer they were dumb fold thus again asked

"What screen?"

When Sam heard the question for a second time he came to his senses and replied hurriedly "Oh, Its nothing I was just thinking about my test, and what happened yesterday"

when Sam tried to change this topic they both knew now there was no meaning to lecture Sam as he was already lost in his world but Sam's uncle still tried to persuade him "look, Sam, I know that you don't want to burden us and don't want to spend money on yourself so to save little money you can but you should know that after I am paralyzed then you are now the only capable man in the family, while your aunt can handle many things but as she is inside the base for last five years and can't fight well, thus the whole family is now dependent on you, thus if we had even a single credit extra then we will definitely spend on you to make you strong"

And in the end, he finally added "don't think the money we are spending on you is going to you as if you become a strong then you will definitely protect us and help your sister, thus think that we are trying to help ourselves"

While Sam was now mostly focused on the screen which just appeared now but when he heard the speech of his uncle his eyes grew moist. in the end, within this selfish world, he doesn't know how much lucky he was to have such caring uncle and aunt thus he reluctantly accepts their proposal but on the conditions that they will buy a core stone before the test and he will continue his three jobs from all and they would not complain about that, to which both of them happily agreed.

when they finished talking and his aunt was going to cook food then Sam hesitated for a second and asked "Aunt Sara do you know about Ghost "Flower and Dream stone" " as his uncle was not working thus he may not know but his aunt was in the laboratory every day so it would be not strange for her to hear about these.

But contrary to his expectation his aunt smiles at him and said "you should ask your uncle not me about these" and then she turned to the kitchen.

Thus Sam can only turn to his uncle for the answers and then his uncle awkwardly answered "these things you are talking about just discovered a few days ago north-west jungle of the base"

But then his uncle asked suspiciously "why do you need those things, are you doing something bad behind our back?"

Because his uncle also heard from the beast association about these things that some people are using these things to intoxicate themselves.

But Sam replied with smiling face "nothing, it just that yesterday I heard some of my classmate talking about that his elder brother butterfly which is similar to our own evolved after consuming those things"

When his uncle and his aunt who was now in the kitchen heard this they were both stunned as evolution process of any beast costs lots of money and only beast researchers knew these methods. Thus both of them asked at the same time

"Do you know the whole process?" as if they had complete trust on Sam that he would never lie.

Sam can only answer nervously at their scary faces "yes I know"

His uncle instantly online ordered 10 pieces of both and within minutes these things came to the door Sam picked these at door. It turned out that both of these have a very low cost.

Now that things were in front of them they turned to Sam. to which Sam replied "just crush the stone and use the juice of three flowers to mix them and feed to the butterfly.

At this answer, Sam's aunt looked slightly unbelieving despite her trust as to how can an evolution process be this simple. Sam at reply simply shook his shoulders. His aunt looked at his uncle for a second and started to do as Sam instructed and within a minute whole solution was done and unexpectedly the dream stone dissolved in the juice of ghost flower and the whole solution turned liquid.

Soon his aunt called dream butterfly from their room and it came within a second and started to hover in front of them. Sam's aunt hesitated for a second but still ordered her butterfly to drink the liquid and to her surprise from her bond, she felt the butterfly became happy at the sight of the liquid and immediately flew toward it and drank clean within seconds. The moment it finished drinking its body started to shine blinding the eyes of the whole family.
