The mines

As the cart approached the end, Shaun jumped off early, which would have probably been a horrible idea if there weren't a ton of a bushes around to catch him. The cart slammed into the end of the tracks. It stopped right in front of a cave and the sun was burning. He didn't have a choice but to seek shelter in the cave.

As he headed in, the entrance which was barely being supported by some rotting wood finally gave. Seriously? I guess the world really did just hate him that much. Luckily he could feel a slight breeze coming from the other end, so he know he wasn't going to choke to death. He walked on and on but the cave just seemed to just spiral on forever.

As he continued forward, his stomach started to growl. He was starving, and without any other options, he ate the berries. They actually tasted not to bad. He felt fine, nothing unusual. He kept walking and walking... and walking... until that feeling on uneasiness finally came. He collapsed on the ground. The poison wasn't enough to knock him out but it left him in incredible pain. He sat there in the cave trying not to scream out in pain.
