Almost morning

Shaun jumped up, ready to head out, until he remembered about his wounds. He couldn't just leave them unattended so he looked around everywhere for anything, and to his luck he found a first aid kit. He cleaned and wrapped his cuts and bruises and before leaving, decided to take a look at his path. It dawned on him that he wasn't going to get home quickly if he followed the rails back home, it would take him 2 days at least, he would dehydrate by then. Speaking of needs, he was hungry and thirsty.

He saw some bushes nearby with some sort of berry on it, but he knew that it would be a major mistake to just eat them without knowing what they were. Still, he grabbed a few and took them in his hand, just as a last resort. As for water, he wasn't sure what to do. There wasn't a well or anything nearby, so he just had to continue on. Or did he? He could just stay put where he was and hope someone was looking for him, but who knew how long that would take?

He made up his mind, he would continue following the rails, as the was a second section of rails not to far from where the first section ended. With all his strength he dragged the cart onto the second set of rails, which took him almost 30 minutes. He hopped on and gave the cart a little put, and with that he was back on the move. Whether that was a bad decision or not didn't matter anymore, there was no going back. He would just have to wait and see where this one took him. He decided not to fall asleep this time, for who knew what could be ahead. Instead he took in every single little thing. But all he really saw was bushes and trees. He could only sit and wait.
