Even after waking up, Yan Shu could still feel his soft lips on hers. How had it come to that? They were just there for a business meeting.

But was it though? There were supposed to be seven other people at that meeting but, due to the Kim's mother accident and the problem at the Chen's Group, Yan Shu and president Chen were by themselves. Sounded a lot like a date, and she wasn't sure if she disliked it or not.

Tired of laying in bed thinking about it, she got up and started her morning routine.

After dropping Yan Shu home, Chen Mu SHeng's calm facade finally broke down. He couldn't forget her petite body and her coconut fragrance. But most of all, he couldn't forget how her lips felt. She was intoxicating. It took him almost swerving off the road for him to finally come to his senses.

Arriving back to the Emerald Pavillion, he found Go Jichen by the living room.

"Are you alright?" his friend asked.

Chen Mu Sheng tried to ignore him and went to his room, but Go Jichen didn't take the hint and followed him.

"Seriously, you seem distracted. Did things go well with Yan Shu?" he asked with a lewd smirk. The only answer he received was a glare. "Now I'm sure that something happened. Did you hug, kiss, or what?"

Chen Mu Sheng paused for a moment at the word "kiss," confirming to his friend what had happened.

Rather than being satisfied with that, now he wanted to know even more. "So you kissed," he laughed. "how did it happen? Did you take the initiative or her? Hurry up, tell me. If you do, I'll advise you on how to court her."

Chen Mu Sheng finally couldn't take it anymore. Arriving in his bedroom door, he said, "Wait for me in the study, and I'll tell you about it." With that, he shut the door on Go Jichen's face.

After a shower and a change of clothes, he went to the study and sat on the couch.

Go Jichen stood by the window, just waiting for him. "So, will you tell me what happened?"

Chen Mu Sheng kept a serious face and told everything that happened, from the moment they were alone, to them eating, to the accidental kiss by the end.

Go Jichen waited patiently while his friend told his story. "It's best for you to wait for now," he advised him. "It seems to me that she's completely focused on her career, so you shouldn't make her choose between it and you. For now, try to remain in touch with her. This way you can remain in touch with her, but also look out for anyone who tries to cour her," he stressed the last part.

Chen Mu Sheng nodded. "Okay. And did you find anything about her?"

Go Jichen was silent for a moment. "There's more to her than meets the eye."
