"I'm leaving, Lolita."
Syna yelled to inform her from inside the room and imminently strode out in a disheveled state.
"B-butt bhere 'o?"
Lolita who was sitting on the chair alongside the breakfast on the table, chipped to inquire with mouth stuffed.
"Shut up and eat carefully otherwise you will choke. I'm going to the orphanage and will be going back home."
Syna strode closer to Lolita , struggling with her hair while she stared at her in disbelief.
"For what? Do not tell me you are willingly jumping into the well."
Lolita felt the bite like a hard lump to swallow thus pushed it down the throat with difficulty.
"No, absolutely not, girl. I'm going to get some more time, till then Mr President would be back to help."
Syna hung her bag on right shoulder as she informed Lolita about her plan.
"Yes, he will help you ...wait, Mr President? Your boss?"
Lolita was munching on the hot pancakes which were placed in front of her on the table with honey as a topping. The coffee mug was piping hot puffs, she just prepared breakfast for both.
When in between her careless eating she registered her words and questioned in a confusion, to which Syna simply nodded.
"But what he has to do with him?"
Syna completely skipped the point to tell Lolita about the relationship of 'Ghost king' to Sinclair.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Lolita, I forgot to tell you the main thing in my turmoil. The Ghost king is the heir to the throne and Mr President, my boss, Sinclair MacLaverty is his brother!"
Syna finished her sentence in breaking it up into many, as by now she was standing close to Lolita, all dressed in denim and red shirt that had little pink cherries printed on it, her hair was tied up in the loose bun and a few naughty strands dared to sneak out of the grip.
Lolita dropped the fork at once which banged on the table with a 'klink' sound. She remained plopped there jaw dropped in shock and a tinge of amazement hinted on her face.
"WHAT! Wait...wait. If he is the younger brother then he must have a solution."
Lolita paused in a thinking mode with hands rested at the edge of the table and right one tucked beneath the chin.
"Maybe ...if he does not have a good relationship with his brother as it happens mostly and kills him….he can be the king. Technically he will be your groom then!"
Lolita, a lover of fiction and a crazy reader had her mind wandering all around in the fantasyland thus drawing out conclusion.
"Lolita! This is not your dreamland okay. This is reality and even if he does not have clashes with his brother, he must have a way other than killing. I have to wait for him to come back."
Syna became agitated with her blabbering as yesterday morning she was reading author Salacious and it corrupted her mind like a virus.
"Okay, girl, let's just wait for his arrival. But I'm telling you if he falls in love with you everything will be solved and you can marry him ...I mean if you fell in love with him too, otherwise you can dump him simply."
Lolita narrated the whole plan like a casual matter and started to sip on her coffee.
"You ...you are unbelievable Lolita. I'm leaving."
Syna did not react further as she was totally aware that it was not a good idea to argue with a dumb head, who was only good with reading and writing and that was Lolita's job, writing for a magazine.
"But wait, have breakfast first. I made it with love and you are wasting it by leaving."
Before Syna could leave her little open kitchen Lolita burst out in a puppy tone like a child pitying on herself.
"Okay, drama queen, I will have a few bites."
Syna hung the strap of her bag on the back of chair and sat to have breakfast.
The mysterious shadow was following her every moment, sticking to her since yesterday night.
"If you are going to find a solution to this and after being successful, whom will you marry? I mean you have many suitors now, that decent online dating guy, the fucking Ghost King and handsome Mr President."
Lolita suddenly came up with the question which stirred up strange emotions within her body and the first face that clicked in her mind was of Sinclair's, that her eyes flickered at once.
In between the deadly revelation and turmoil she completely forgot about her date.
"I have not thought about that and as for now I'm going to refuse that online date guy. To escape from this mess is my first priority."
Syna dug the fork into the pancake as she hesitantly tear the piece and placed it in mouth. Her heart was racing yet she became crestfallen on the thought of losing Sinclair.
