A man was brought on the shoulders of a guard, with hands tied at the back and eyes covered with a black cloth that provided hindrance to his view and aroused the sense of fright.
His mouth was stuffed with some strips of black cloth, his brown robe was ripped from the torso as if perhaps got tattered in the struggle to get free and the rope binder scathed it.
Blood was flowing drop by drop from the wounds as the bruises could be seen through the torn robe, the shade of purplish blue wounds was not hidden from the eyes, the man certainly was slashed violently.
He was moving and still struggled for his life when the guard threw him on the cold floor and the man dropped like a thing with a thump sound and got rolled a few steps further.
"The culprit, Lord Sinclair."
The sturdy guard who was dressed in a pitch black robe that had chains wrapped around his chest and muscular arms, the guard wore stern expressions more likely the unmoved one.
He was the most trustworthy man, guarding the gates of Spirit realm, Elmore was determined to find the culprit who dared to help a soul in escaping from under his nose.
"Nevertheless I did not suspect you Elmore, yet I'm relieved that you got your hands on the real culprit."
Lord Sinclair who was sitting on his throne, the vast courtroom was hovering with poisoned silence yet the other high ministers managing the records, showed their presence by sudden emergence.
But no one dared to utter anything under the critical situation, moreover when their Lord was fuming with rage.
An evil grin appeared on Sinclair's face which made the hall shudder from his imposing powerful black aura that was already circulating around his silhouette.
"I need to prove myself loyal to the kingdom, my Lord. How could I stay calm and not do anything when my kingdom needs my services, you are my saviour. I'm obliged to serve you till my last breath."
Elmore Drago, the only man who had the nerve to speak in such a bold tone in front of the mighty Lord, who happened to give him a special treatment including giving him the charge of the gates between Hell and Spirit realm.
"You have caused so much trouble to me young insolent man."
Lord Sinclair spoke in his resonant voice with bitterness in the tone.
The vast hall with the walls dipped in blood red shade shivered under his voice, as a newly appointed minister standing in the second row to the right of the king, happened to pee in his dress.
The man quivered perhaps he acknowledged of his evildoers, and the lord with his only sentence passed the edict about the man's death, his time was up!
Elmore stepped closer to the man who was sobbing as his tears could be sensed, the cloth was completely wet which covered his eyes.
The intense atmosphere of the main hall presented a death scenario as someone was going to die and no one was dared to move an inch or to scrunch shut his eyes.
The guard removed the cloth from his eyes and the man stared at the muscular silhouette in front of him, he was no less than a grim reaper!
Black long hair were cascaded down to shoulders, round black eyes with redness visible. Elmore had a big scar on half of his right eye which was an addition to that man's looks.
The hovering silence was an additional fear, the culprit felt himself trapped in the midst of a wolf's den. At any moment he would be dead meat!
He was staring at Elmore just like staring at his own death! Elmore muttered something under his breath and summoned a sword with magic, the scythe of that grim reaper!
He hunched a little and held the face of the man by chin watched him weeping and struggling. But he needed to pay off to offend the Lord of Spirit realm including the sin he committed.
Elmore gave him an evil smirk
and glanced back at Sinclair, who was plopped calmly on the throne adorned with skulls on handset and a wolf's skin which served as his seat decoration.
"My King!"
Elmore's voice resonated asking for the permit to punish the man who needed to be eradicated to prevent the evil roots from spreading.
"All yours!"
Lord Sinclair waved his hand in a manner as to manifest him the dismissal, with such casualty that left the ministers astonished and dead scared.
A muffled shriek filled every person present there with a sudden shiver and fear. A few moments later everything was calmed and that deadly silence lurked through the hall again.
