The Red haired woman pt.2

Except for the apparitions, it had been a good day. After all, within this week he would get himself a new wand, his school was finally ending and he was finally rejoining into his previous world. As he was laying around, the red-headed woman he met today came to his mind but just then, April called out to him.

"Perseus, come meet out our new neighbor."

'Neighbour?' Perseus thought as the image of the nearby villa came to his mind, after all that was the only house closer to his'. Perseus walked over to the living room as he asked, "You mean that creep villa, everyone says is hunted."

"Don't be rude!" April said as she turned back, "Meet our new neighbor, Ms..."

"Patricia Rakepick!" Perseus said out loud looking at the woman in front of him. The woman was none other than the one he had met before in Diagon Alley as she too sat there sipping on her tea smiling brightly at him. Luckily she was wearing a normal muggle dress, this time around as he was making sure his mother wouldn't know. After all, without the Hogwart's letter, all this would be a lot difficult to explain to April.

"You know each other?" April asked.

"Of course, we do." Patricia said, "We just met before-"

"Outside our house, where I was playing for a while." Perseus cut off Patricia, "We happen to stumble upon each other."

"Strange, I didn't see you go out today." April said shrugging her shoulders, "Anyway since she is our new neighbor you have to be kind and not prank her like the others."

Perseus stiffened as he heard his mother, after all the reason the previous owner of the villa left was because he had pranked them a little bit too much like sending out home-made dung bombs for Christmas and stuff but in his defense, the previous owners were creepy and annoying living in that weird villa. But that didn't matter because as a result of his actions people thought the house was hunted and the previous owner left and no one has stayed there ever since.

"You don't have to worry about it." Patricia said, "I was a school teacher just recently and besides I like pranksters especially the cute ones."

"I see. That's great. What subject were you in teaching?"

"Arts," Patricia said smiling at Perseus, now full well knowing what she was doing.

Patricia Rakepick was a highly intelligent and magically talented individual and a world-renowned Curse-breaker. His sister, Anny, had once talked about her peer who was in the same occupation of being a curse-breaker as her and that person was none other than Patricia Rakepick. He had even met Rakepick once, in his previous life before but he was too young to recognize her immediately.

Other than being acquaintances, Perseus knew that this woman was dangerous. Too dangerous, too be fooling around with. Even his sister had warned him about not getting too close to her as her intention was clear.

She was just as she looked like, haughty and arrogant. She was the type that wouldn't hesitate to do even the evilest thing if she had to. Though however, Perseus' respected her wit and strength but that was only from an individual point of view. Because he had realized already, that the woman was really annoying. After all, she was in his bedroom smirking at him, as she flipped through the magazine cover.

"Oh! No wonder you already have some muggle fans." Patricia showed him the mid-page of the magazine, which had him modeling in white jeans and white shorts holding a teddy-bear showing an innocent face which was the complete opposite of what he had right now.

"That was 2 years ago." Perseus said wondering if that made things any better, "And I don't know what you're into but you shouldn't be in my bedroom in the middle of the night."

Patricia started laughing out loud as she wiped the tear from the side of her face, "Don't worry, I have set up and enchantment so no one can hear us."

Perseus getting creeped out stared at Patricia giving her an odd look.

"Don't worry, I am not interested in kids, maybe if you grow a little older," Patricia said in a joking tone but it didn't sound like that to Perseus.

"Perseus Walker. Your mother is a muggle and your father is not around. But since you call yourself a half I wonder if its because you know about your father being a wizard." Patricia said, "You know all about magic, but at the same time your mother seems to have no clue about what you are."

"What do you want?" Perseus said with a frown.

"You." Patricia said pointing at him, "You're probably the most interesting 11-year-old I have ever seen."

"I am sure there are other interesting 11 year-olds than me so why don't you go and harass them instead," Perseus said, "Harry-- what was his name again-- Harry Potter, I am sure he is more interesting than I am."

"I am sure he is but the poor kid doesn't even know his heritage." Patricia said, "I saw him release a Boa outside a zoo when I followed him once but it turns out he did it by accident. Seeing him, all I could feel was, pity, so let's say he's not interesting enough for me."

"Wait! so that boa?" Perseus remembered the scene from a couple of weeks ago, 'So does that mean that Potter lives around that area?'

"So you know about it, huh?" Patricia said, "But as I said not interesting enough but you, on the other hand, are too interesting, I don't know why but I feel like I've met you before even when I haven't been around here for a long time."

"Tch, annoying." Perseus said as he was annoyed by the cleverness this woman had, "So what do you want from me?"

"I want to see who you really are," Patricia said as he took out her wand from her jacket as she pointed it at Perseus, "Will you let me?"

"No thanks!" Perseus said with a smile as the wand in Patricia's hand suddenly disappeared.

"Oh! I didn't know that elf of yours was clever enough to do so." Patricia said as she looked at Bailey who appeared in front of Perseus glaring at Patricia.

"Hahaha.... this is really different indeed. An elf trained to protect? Interesting." Patricia laughed out loud.

"What are you doing here?" Perseus said impressed by Bailey as he played along.

"As your neighbor? Well, that was just a coincidence." Patricia said, "As for why I am here is because I need you to do me a favor."

"What makes you think I'll do that?"

"What makes you think you won't?" Patricia smiled, "I have a deal for you that I am sure you won't be able to refuse."

Perseus just raised his eyebrows as he stayed quiet.

"You know about me, so you know I am good at being a witch." Patricia said, "I can see that you're not trained and haven't even used magic once yet, after your awakening. So how about I teach you everything I know, from fighting and using spells to being a good curse-breaker. I'll make you the strongest first-year in the history of Hogwarts."

Perseus thought about it, as he knew it wasn't a bad thing as he really did know nothing about magic other than the few things he had seen people around him do. And for fighting, let's just say he wasn't meant for it. Maybe with spells, he might be able to win but physically though he was strong, against anyone a bit professional he wouldn't stand a chance.

"And what do you want in return?"

"A Basilisk."
