Harry Potter

Sorry for the late update. I went camping and couldn't write for the time... regular updates will continue from now on.

"Are you sure, you've packed everything?"

"Yes, mum!" Perseus answered for the thousandth time as his mother was too nervous than him. "Don't worry, I'll come back for Christmas so it's not that long."

"Sigh! I know but your school is so far away." April said, "That I can't help but worry."

"It's going to be okay." Perseus said, "And with this, I can also help find about father."

"Don't worry about that," April said shaking her head, after talking with Bailey and Perseus about the wizarding war and the world, she was already satisfied with the fact that the man didn't lie to her, so sending her son in danger was the last thing she wanted to do. "Just take care of yourself and be sure to make actual friends and not some lady in her 30's."

Perseus smiled as he had already told April about his supposed friend who was none other than Patricia. Perseus hugged April for the last time as he walked towards the platform waving her goodbye.

Taking a deep breath he pushed his trolly as he walked between the two platforms as suddenly the sound and smell of the whole place changed.

A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, eleven O'clock. Perseus looked behind him and saw a wrought-iron archway where the barrier had been, with the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it.

Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every color wound here and there between their legs. Owls hooted to one another in a disgruntled sort of way over the babble and the scraping of heavy trunks.

The first few carriages were already packed with students, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats. And some older students already making out so hard that Perseus was sure they would meld together. Perseus pushed his cart off down the platform in search of an empty seat more necessarily looking for Harry Potter. After all, the boy was needed for him to complete his promise to Patricia and his future needs as well.

Walking in the seats were getting fuller and fuller and only a few were remaining and Perseus still had no signs of Harry Potter. He then decided to stop for now, as he headed in for one of the carriages that still had an empty seat when he suddenly crashed into someone. A redhead.

"Watch where you're walking!"

"You crashed into me and not the other way around." Perseus said as he walked away, "Idiot."

The boy just glared at him as he dusted off his clothes. He turned around to find an empty seat as he walked over to it. "Hey, is that a toad?"

"Hey, is the seat empty?" He asked looking at the two girls and a boy across each other.

They all turned to look at him from head to toe, mostly his clothes as they looked at one another and nodded. "Come on in." The boy said.

"Thanks." Perseus nodded as he rolled his eyes as he sat down. He had already realized what kind of people he was dealing with. The snobby pure-blood nobles. He had encountered many of them in his previous life after he himself was from one. Perseus casually took out his wand as he fixed his case on top of the compartment putting it back again.

"Nice! A levitation spell." The boy said looking at Perseus, "I haven't seen you around before, what's your name? I am Draco by the way, Draco Malfoy."

"I see." Perseus nodded, "I am Perseus Walker, and before you ask, yes, a half-blood."

The glow in his Draco's eyes immediately lessened after hearing that but he didn't make a face after all half-blood was still accepted. "I see, and these two here are Daphne Greengrass and Pansy Parkinson."

"Hello!" Perseus greeted as they did the same.

The whole ride was comfortable as luckily the girl from the Greengrass family didn't talk much and Pansy kept keeping Draco busy much to his annoyance.

"Hey! Walker do you want to go see Harry Potter?" Draco asked.

Perseus thought for a while and nodded, "Let's go. I have been wanting to meet him as well."

Draco nodded, "We should go get Crabbe and Goyle as well. They are stuck in another compartment."

"Would you want that?" Perseus asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I have collected some information on Harry Potter and from what I've heard he was raised in a muggle household." Perseus said as he looked at Draco's confused expression, "You guys are from pure-blood families aren't you? So think about it from Potter's perspective. The guy didn't even know if he was a wizard till recently. So if we go up there and show up with your pure-blood attitude, I am sure it's going to cause troubles."

Draco stayed silent as Daphne stared at him for the first time after he entered the compartment.

"What? I am a half-blood but as far as I know my father comes from a noble family too."

"Walker? I have never heard of it before..."

"Walker is my name from the mother side as for my father well you can look at this--" Perseus said as he showed them the ring hoping to get some information from them without revealing too much.

They all looked at the ring clearly as they all tried to figure out which family did the crest belonged to.

"I feel like I've seen it before but I don't remember. Why don't you just tell us?" Draco asked

"Well, I guess, I'll leave it to you to figure it out," Perseus said smiling.

"Fine!" Draco rolled his eyes, "So what do we do about Potter?"

"Well, Potter, as I said, is now the same as the muggle-borns. So if we want to befriend him we should do it calmly and help him recognize his worth. After all, the Potter's are famous wizarding families so we all aren't so different in terms of standard."

"Carefully bring him to our side without showing our usual hatred for mudbloods is what he's trying to say," Daphne answered Draco who still looked lost. "Studied politics did you?"

"Who knows?" Perseus shrugged. "Let's go."

Draco still trying to understand the situation nodded and walked out with Perseus.

"Which family do you think he's from?"

"The ring was made of Mithril so I am sure he's not lying. Unless he stole it from someone that is." Daphne said frowning, "I need to find out about it."

"Harry Potter?" Perseus knocked on the door as he opened the last compartment they hadn't checked. As the boy sitting alone looked at them.

"Yes?"

"Found him." Perseus said as he entered the compartment with Draco, "Sorry for the intrusion but it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I am Perseus Walker and this is Draco Malfoy."

Perseus looked at the awkwardness between Harry and Draco as he asked, "Do you two know each other?"

"We met at Madam Malkin's." Draco said, "But I didn't know it was him."

"I see." Perseus said hoping Draco hadn't created bad blood between them already, "Do you not want us to be here, Mr. Potter?"

Harry shook his head, "Just Harry is fine."

"Harry, I know you grew up in a muggle household and don't know much about the wizarding world either, so why don't we be friends. After all, we are from similar backgrounds." Perseus said.

"You didn't know you were a wizard either?"

"Something like that turns out my dad's a wizard but that's a conversation for another time."
