It has been a peaceful year for Hermes and everyone around the table. No more halfbloods running around the globe and it means that there is less work for them to do. Like, come on! Give the a damn break! They deserve that- except for the unfortunate Eros.
"WHERE ARE MY UNDERWEAR? I thought they will take care of everything!"
He gathered all the air left inside his lungs and prepared to shout but before any sound could come out, Psyche appeared. Seeing him completely naked made her cheeks burn with embarrassment.
Eros who had realized that he is naked and a woman is in front of him, staring at his full childish nakedness, ran to hide his self at the half-open closet just when she turned her back.
An awkward silence…
Since someone has to break the ice-
"I-I see that you left your undergarments and pants. You forgot to pack them with your arrows." She threw a pair at Eros who strived to wear it as fast as he could.
"I'm done, I'm all dressed now"
Even if Psyche have been his wife for almost an eternity now, they still treat each other like awkward newly weds.
"Eros, you are no longer a child. Will you try to remember to bring your clothes every time you get these kind of missions or trips? Last time, you are out there in space to shoot an astronaut, you left your underwears! Not on your drawer, but inside MY drawer for MY undergarments!"
"Ah, my soul. Sorry for those times. If only my eyes were on condition, I shouldn't have left it with your panties."
Then the night passed, the moon shone bright and the night was full of love for the both of them- but not for someone in the other side of the world.
Ascyl is currently dreaming, again, of black wings, black arrows black smoke- everything. Everything is black except for her image. She's there, eyeing the whole City of Paris. Her black wings are flapping to keep her on air. Her hair color is of the deepest shade of violet. Her eyes were magenta. In her neck, a swirl of black lace around, like the lace on her wrists.
Then, a couple are getting married. While the bride is walking down the aisle, she aimed to kill.
Sweats and fast heartbeat woke her up. she felt so hot.
Since she could not sleep, she went to her small laboratory. She wants to make a panacea for leprosy but she saw a faint bronze light behind the closet. The light seems to draw her closer. She feels so peaceful. Then the light glowed brighter, it's so bright she closes her eyes.
The moment she opened her eyes again, she can now see a vast lake, mist can still be seen due to coldness. But there are people swimming. They are like maggots swimming in eternal strokes. Not far from where she's standing, she can see a sunken ship near the shore. The signboard says it "The Ship of Charon, to ferry the soul to Hades."
"Oh." She thought. It looks like a famous ship had been wrecked by a multitude of spirit.
"Hey, you! The lakeis ready. Why don't you swim?" Shouts a man of mid-thirties.
She knows who the man is. He was her neighbor who got into an accident last week. Just then, a billowing black smoke hurled towards her. Close enough for her to see a man with exquisite trimmed hair with a streak gray. Elegant robes with flaming bronze colored trinkets around his left fingers.
The man smiled with tenderness and looked at her eyes gazing a favored priceless stone.
"My daughter…"
