The Journey

 A man pulled up in a black car with tinted windows. I just kept walking when a different man got out with a gun. He put his hand on my shoulder and guided me towards the car. He told me to get in before he shot me. 

"I'm not afraid of you or that gun in your hand. I know for a fact your an escaped criminal. I know your on the most wanted list and your a bounty of over a million." (Zoe Rainbow)

"How do you know that you little brat." (Joe, dad's friend)

"My father is one of your friends. You met me when I was little and I still remember that voice and the name.

"Get in the car you know too much to be left here. (Zoe Rainbow)

"So who's your friend in the driver's seat? Still can't drive huh?" (Zoe Rainbow)

"Just get in before I lose my patience." (Joe, dad's friend)

"You have patience since when." (Zoe Rainbow)

He lost his patience and shoved me into the car. I still had my backpack. I took out my jumbo sharpie and a notebook. I wrote help I've been kidnapped. I asked the men where they were taking me and they told me they were taking me to New York. I wrote under the first part there taking me to New York and I signed the paper. I threw the paper out the window and it hit the car behind us windshield. The driver stopped the car and took the paper from the windshield and gave me a thumbs up. I watch as they pulled out their phone and called someone. Shortly after we arrived at a restaurant and they left me with the owner so they could use the bathroom. I started a conversation with the owner. 

"Take a picture of me and remember the name Zoe Rainbow Rainbow ." (Zoe Rainbow)

"Why" (owner)

I need you to tell the local police I was here and you need to show them the picture." (Zoe Rainbow)

"Why" (owner)

"There coming back I can't talk now they would kill me." (Zoe Rainbow)

"Do you deliver." (Joe, dad friend)

"Yes we do sir." (Owner)

"Good I need twelve sandwiches and a party size pizza delivered to this address tomorrow afternoon."(Joe, dad's friend)

"Ok will you be paying at the address." (Owner

"Yes we will be paying you when you arrive."(Joe, dad friend)

"I'll see you around noon at this address then." (Owner)The man called the police after we left the restaurants. Once an officer arrived he was shown the photo of me and told my name.

"Did you recognize any of them." (Officer)

"I only recognized the girl she's on the missing children list." (Owner)

"Face, name, description and all clearly on the list." (Officer)

The men brought me to an abandoned cottage. They dragged me out of the car and forced me into the cottage. The men brought me upstairs and they locked me in a room. We spent the night in the cottage. Then Joe my father's friend took the car and left. 

"I have your food where is my money." (Owner)

"Here's your money now scram." (Joe, dad's friend)

"He went north you can catch him." (Owner)

"I'll handle this go back to your shop." (Officer)

"Yes sir" (Owner)

When he returned the men tied my wrists together and shoved me into the car. 

"Where are you taking me now." (Zoe Rainbow)

"We are going to main. It will be a while so you should get some rest." (Joe)

"I know your my fathers friend but I don't trust you enough to sleep." (Zoe Rainbow)

I took out my notebook again and wrote we are headed for main help Zoe Rainbow. I threw it out of the window towards a man walking his dog. He took out his phone and used sign language to tell me he was calling the police. He then signed that he got through and they were on their way. We arrived in main and checked into an inn. Immediately after we checked in and brought our belongings to our room we went back to the lobby. What the men didn't notice that I did was a police officer was getting free coffee when we checked in. They didn't know the officer watched as the shoved me up the stairs and into the room. The man had noticed me earlier and gave me a reassuring look. The police officer was waiting with some colleagues and arrested them when we came down. The officer called for an ambulance to send me to the hospital, to make sure I was mentally and physically. They kept me in the hospital for a month because I had many bruises and cuts from them. They told me that I was malnourished and they needed to help my body before they could contact my family. Once I could be discharged they called my family and told them they were working on getting me home. They showed a man my room and they told me that he heard of what happened and wanted to give me a place to stay until they could send me home. I told the doctor that I wasn't going with the man. The doctor told me that they were sending me with the man and it wasn't for discussion. The doctor left to get the paperwork for temporary guardianship and the moment he left I told him that I knew what he was up to. I told him I knew who he was and I still wasn't afraid of him or his deadly tools. He laughed and told me I was quick and then the doctor came back in. The man was one of the men who were waiting at the cottage. Their was over a dozen men waiting for us when we arrived. I told the doctor that they would regret sending me away with him. They told me they trusted the man and they weren't going to regret it. The man finished the paperwork and he told me to get dressed. He had brought me clothing to change into so I wasn't in dirty clothing. The man brought me out to his car and we drove back from the hospital. Once we were out of sight he pulled over and opened the passenger door. He told me to get out of the car and he grabbed my wrist. He brought me into a patch of grass out of sight and forced me to the ground. He walked away and he told me that I would be hurt if I moved. He returned with handcuffs and shackles, he told me to stand up. He put the shackles on and then the handcuffs. He left and returned backing the car out of sight. He picked me up and put me in the trunk and told me there would be no more rescue plea notes. He closed and locked the trunk and started driving again. The car stopped and the man opened the trunk. He took me out of the trunk and told me to go inside. I just stood there and acted like I didn't hear him.

"Move before I shoot you." (M Dog)

"I told you before, I'm not afraid of you or your weapons. I wouldn't care if you killed me because I know your watching everyone. Your watching my relatives, anyone I consider family, and anyone who got even remotely close to me." (Zoe Rainbow)

"How do you a little brat know so much about what we do." (M Dog)

"Your boss is one of my fathers friends and a lot of you would come to my house when I was little. My father worked for you until you had him kill someone. You guys would get so drunk you wouldn't stop talking about the horrible things you do." (Zoe Rainbow)

"You didn't tell anybody did you? (M Dog)

"No who would believe me a little shy girl." (Zoe Rainbow)

"Good you don't know the real purpose we do this." (M Dog)

"Oh I think I do. You kidnap children who could be potential targets and you keep them hostage until they aren't potential targets." (Zoe Rainbow)

"How do you know?" (M Dog)

"Drunk people say a lot that they don't remember or realize they said it." (Zoe Rainbow)
