Chapter 9: The Fire

Sheila Belmonte's POV

I was groaning as I was laying on the ground. I don't know where I was but I was burning. I felt it under my skin and I wanted to get out of here, wherever I was right now. I was looking around but nothing was moving.

"Hello?" I asked as I was looking around the room. It was bare but I was being locked inside the room as the door was jammed.

"Damn it," I said before I was looking around. It seems the only way to get out was by using my power, Fire element.

"Well, here goes nothing," I said as I was holding my hand in front of the door and I was pushing through the door before it burned. I stepped back a few moments until I saw where I was. I was in the forest. I don't know which forest or where.

All I see was greenery and I thought I heard some shouting and singing. There was music as well and before I knew it, I was walking toward it and I was dazed in its finery. The people were laughing and singing. Some couples were making out and some were doing the act. I don't think that I wanted to join them the burning was fearless. I have to calm down.

"Hey, are you okay?" Someone asked me when I was looking at him. All that I can see was the veins under his neck and I was licking my lips before I felt my canine was retracting.

"Ma'am?" He asked before I lunged at him. He screamed before I was biting him down and drowning into the blood that was pouring from his veins. Since when the last time I drank from its source? It was a marvelous feeling after all.

"Vampire, run!" Someone screamed as I was looking around. People were screaming and running as I was trying not to grin at the prey that I will be getting tonight. I snapped the neck of the man that I just drank dry. I hoped he would not be turning.

I hate to mess with new fledglings.

I was looking for my next prey before I was doting on the man that was running from me. He was the nearest before I vampire sped toward him and bit him on the neck. He made a gasp before the sound was dead inside him. I snapped him again and I was looking around before someone was pushing the fire at me.

I smirked at her.

"You killed him! You killed my fiancé!" The woman was in hysteria right now since I was killing in front of her. I would be devastated if I saw Noah was on the ground, lifeless right now. But my body would not stop from getting the blood it needed. And humans were everywhere. I can see that I will be having a blood bath sooner or later.

"Sheila. Stop this nonsense this instant," someone shouted at me and when I turned, it was my parents. They were looking at me as if I was afraid but right now, I don't care. And then it happened, the fire was getting out of my hands as if I cannot control it. I was being controlled by someone and I think I know who it was.

I was flying in the air, pouring the fire and I was setting the forest on fire. People screamed and ran. My parents were terrified before I saw a woman, the Huntress, was coming to put me down. I was laughing like a maniac before Aaron and Noah took me down and dosed me so that I will not be acting crazy. But I know who was behind all this.

And his name is Monti Covaci.

"I cannot believe that my uncle would so such a horrible thing," Noah said as he was pacing back and forth inside the room. I was looking at him while his brain was turning to find a solution to all of this. I sighed before Noah looked at me.

"And when did you get all this?" he asked before I was shifting uncomfortably. I did not gaze into his eyes because the answer to that was embarrassing.

"Sheila?" He asked before I sighed again. I closed my eyes as I was gripping my hands.

"I got my memory when we were climaxing together in the forest a few days ago," I said before I felt the blush crept on my face. God, why do I felt embarrassed? If anything, Noah was my husband after all.

"Well, it seems to be in the forest help to jot down your memory. I see that my uncle's formula has a weakness," he said as I turned to look at him. He was talking nonsense again and I was not the one that understood what he was implying.

"What do you mean?"

"You stated that you were being darted. I think my uncle Monti was putting some kind of clean slate serum into it that made you go berserk. And when you were in the place that you think of the past, while you're climax when you're having sex, the memory will come back as the serum will be burned from your system," he explained as he was nodding at me. I was looking at him like he has lost his mind.

Then he turned to me.

"It seems that my invention worked after all," he said as he was looking at me. I furrowed my eyebrows at him so that he would explain to me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him as he took my hands and kissed it.

"It means that you have come back my dear and I have success with my scientific research that stolen memory can come back if you've been to the right place and right person," he said as he was smiling at me before he was pushing me onto the bed. I did not know that he was trapping me under his arms.

"I thought that with your memory return, we might as well keep it that way," he said as he was wiggling his eyebrows at me. I laughed at him before he kissed me. I moaned as I was trying to feel him once again. After been gone for so long without knowing for sure that he was my husband. And I think I know that now. Still, I have one more question though.

"Wait. Just answer me this one question," I said as I was pushing Noah to break the kiss. I was looking at his cobalt blue eyes before he was smirking at me.

"Fire away,"

"Did we get married or did you just trying to get into my pants?" I asked him before he laughed at my question. I rolled my eyes at him before I was glaring at him.

"What do you think?" He asked when he was moving to shove his hardness on my aching place.

"Oh!" I said as I was moving to feel it even more.

"Oh, indeed. Now, where are we?" He asked me before I was pulling him by the nape and kissed him senselessly. I was roaming his body and in record time, we were naked. Noah was kissing my jaws and neck as I was writhing under him. He was strong and when I felt his tip on my core, I spread my legs even more.

"Even we're not technically married by law, you know in my heart, it was you. It has always been you in my heart from the first moment I saw you at that wedding," Noah said as he was kissing.

"You mean your other cousin's wedding to that Italian man?" I asked him as my memory served me better now.

"Yes, that's the one,"
