Matthew paused and stared at Bronwyn who still appeared a little confused. She was not taking the obvious information that was there, but there was still hope that she would pick up the signs with the balance of the letter.
"Auntie, the last few weeks I have spent night after night crying myself to sleep because I ignored what was in front of me. I was simply a person that he used to satisfy his s*xual needs, not the woman he loved or ever cared for. That woman is the woman that he will marry in the next couple of weeks in one of the biggest weddings that this country will see."
"What infuriated me was that he even tried to convince me to be one of the attendants for his bride. How could I do that? Stand there watching the man I love marry another woman. I know I should only want his happiness, but it is still too raw to want to see that happiness met by someone else."
