Master Lan

[A/N: If you don't remember Master Lan, she's the legendary Lazy Cultivator from chapter 4.]

A yawn rung through the frozen air on a tall desolate mountain. The sound originated from a cave at the very peak of the mountain. Several cracks were heard as the sculpture of an ice woman could be seen.

After several seconds, the sculpture exploded and a woman with long white hair down to her feet stepped out. She yawned again, covering her mouth. After wiping a small tear from her eye, she fell to the floor and landed on her butt; losing any grace she may have had previously.

She scratched her backside as she sniffed the air. Her delicate brows furrowed as she didn't smell the scent of meat like she was used to.

"Little Chen? Little Ming?" Her lazy voice rung out down the mountain. "Little virgin mother?"

After several seconds, there was no reply. She puffed her cheeks as she became slightly annoyed. Throughout the past, whenever she would wake up from her cultivation, the ancestors would always prepare a feast for her famished body. It mostly consisted of meat and energy filling items.

Suspicious, she spread her senses all the way down the mountain and into the palace.

Scanning the area, she was surprised. "Eh? They were supposed to wake me up after 10 years. Did they make a mistake and wait 1,000?"

Thinking for a moment, she shook her head and yawned. "Whatever. Not my problem." She then walked back into her cave and tried to enter seclusion again.

After several minutes in silence, her stomach began to growl. She tried to ignore it for as long as possible, but her growl quickly turned into a ferocious roar. She was completely unable to continue. Hopping up, she exited her cave again.

This time, she spread out her senses and began to detect that there were people living and cultivating here not too long ago. Since she had unexpectedly made another breakthrough after she had fallen asleep, her senses were heightened.

She flew down the mountain and started to follow the trail she had found. "Eh? That's weird. Has 10 years really passed? I don't feel 10 years older..."

Very quickly, she had found herself on the beach where Da long's ship had set sail priar her breakthrough. Realizing that the trail led to the ocean, she realized that everyone must have evacuated the continent and simply forgot about her.

"NOO! COME BACK! I DON'T KNOW HOW TO COOK!" she screamed as she shot over the ocean and continued to follow their trail.

After a couple hours, she grew tired and fell asleep, falling into the ocean. The next day, she woke up to find that she had been eaten by a large fish. She quickly blew the fish to pieces before she started chasing after the ship again.

Later, she fell asleep once again and was eaten by another big fish. After blowing it up, she followed the trail. This repeated several times until she could see a massive ship on the horizon. Her eyes glowed as she could feel that the trail led directly to this ship. Putting in one last spurt of energy, she raced to the ship.

Both Da long and the four Empresses who were eating at this time rose their eyebrows. They felt a strong presence racing towards them. Rather than reacting, they looked at Da long. Seeing the nocelaunt look on his face, they resumed eating.

Within less than a minute, Master Lan flew in from the south, and shot directly at them like she was possessed. Without giving them anytime to react, Master Lan blew away the four empresses, and immediately began to snatch their food up.

Even the drumstick in Da long's hand wasn't safe as she ripped it away from him, and shoved it down her throat. She growled at all the women on deck, causing them to voluntarily give up their food for their own safety.

With a loud belch, Master Lan passed out on the ground and began snoring. It was quite a sight to see. She wa an otherwise very beautiful and elegant lady, but severely lacked the demeanor of one.

After she fell to the ground, her long white hair sprayed out around her, and her previously fierce appearance grew incredibly relaxed. Her brows softened as if she had never been in her previous state at all. Looking at how her mouth opened and closed as she snored, no one would have taken her as a threat if she hadn't arrived so violently.

Da long on the other hand stared at her with a glare. Through his gritted teeth he said, "This...bitch...stole...my...chicken...leg!..."

Just as all his women were shocked to see him lose composure which he had never done before, he sat back down and smiled again. "Just kidding! I've got another one!" As he said that, he pulled another out of nowhere and began to eat it.

All his women sighed in relief and continued to give Master Lan a wide berth.

"Well? Hurry up and toss her onto my bed," Da long ordered as he started to toss food towards the women.

Gulping, four women stepped up and grabbed one limb each then ran towards Da long's cabin. Once in the room, they tossed her several feet into the air until she bounced off the bed. They then fled the room like they were avoiding the plague.

"Who was that?" Kuini whispered to Da long as they started eating again.

Da long simply shrugged as she began to feed him by hand. "No idea, but she's kind cute. I guess I'll keep her."

Kuini nodded, fully expecting this type of answer. "She seems pretty strong, so I guess you got another good lady to fight for you!" [A/N: riiiight]
