Dreams & Gossips

Darkness surrounds him. He feels it entering his body through his screams. His body fills with black slime, and he sees someone watching him. Someone familiar. The green mop of curly hair sitting on top of his head, his vivid emerald eyes shining in the darkness. His hands, scarred and yet appearing soft, out to be seen; his chest covered by a forest green v-neck shirt. His jeans were as black as the slime festering around him, and he panicked.

What was Midoriya doing here? He blinked.

The darkness around him was gone. He was in the same alleyway where he fought Stain. Where one of his classmates was paralyzed on the cold cement. Where he collapsed, watching Midoriya stare back at him with fear.

Had it been Midoriya?

He realized he was on the floor, his cheek resting on the cold dirty cement. He barely had time to crack open his eyes when the boy had grabbed his face, lifting him to his knees. He watched intently, focusing his eyes to the green ones staring back. He let go, snapping his wrist and his head followed, painfully snapping to the side.

"I'm sorry, Shou-chan. Maybe in another life we would've both been on the same side," Izuku pulled a small knife out from his back pocket, flicking his wrist after he focused on where he was aiming.

The throw was precise, aimed for the boy's chest, deep enough to puncture his heart—

Todoroki woke up from the smell of burning fabric. Breathing frantically, he realized that both of his quirks were activated from the nightmare. The whole left side of the bed was scorched and smoking, while the right side was frozen in a block of ice.

What just happened?

He looked around, vision adjusting to the light of the hospital lights. He was in a hospital gown, his arms and face bandaged up. He looked to his side, and in the bed next to him, was his classmate and friend, Tenya Iida. He looked like he was still asleep, but was bandaged as well. His arm was slung in a brace, and there was an IV in his other hand.

So, the fight with the Hero Killer was real. He had physical proof of it. But…

Why was Izuku there?

Shigaraki cursed loudly watching the news. Not only did they cover Stain and the League of Villains attack, but they mostly focused on Stain again. Tomura was not having it.

Midoriya was in a world of his own as well. He swore that his friend saw him while he was fighting Stain. He ignored Shigaraki's child-like outburst and sat in the corner of the bar deep in thought.

Kurogiri was about to lose his mind, with the two opposites of his associates. One was throwing glass cups or just simply allowing all his hand touch it so it would disappear from sight, and the other was so lost in thought that he was certain that the boy was disassociating from this world to an alternate one. He was seriously about to drop Shigaraki into a warp gate to god knows where when the door swung open.

"Who the fuck are you three?" Shigaraki spit out, clearly not happy at the sudden intrusion.

Midoriya ignored the scene. Kurogiri motions the three to enter, although he was very wary of how everyone would react. Giran, who brought the other two younger villains in, smiled at Kurogiri and stepped forward.

"Hey, Kuro, Hands-Kid," Shigaraki growled at the nickname, "These two kids wanna be a part of the team. Dabi and Toga, I think you'll all like each other." And with that Giran waved good-bye and exited, definitely knowing the shit show that will go down.

Midoriya moved closer to the pair, inspecting them. He never really like meeting new people, his trust was a little flawed. So knowing they were at least on the same team as him was a comforting fact. He sat on a bar stool as the girl squealed.

"I'm Himiko Toga! I wanna be like Stain!" She pulled out a knife and licked the blade, not even worried if she cut herself. Midoriya was definitely anxious watching her.

Shigaraki was clearly not amused hearing the name of the Hero Killer, even less someone wanting to be like him. He looked over to Dabi, who was disinterested in this whole thing. "What about you, what's your name?"

Dabi looked to him and scoffed, "I'm going by 'Dabi'," he used finger quotes to further emphasize his name. He peeled his glare from Shigaraki to look at Midoriya, who caught him staring and flinched.

Toga seemed to catch on, "What's this cutie doing here? He's so adorable! I wanna play with you…" She ran forward to Izuku who froze up in fear. Kurogiri created a portal that she ran into, then dropped her next to Dabi, a loud thud and she giggled. "You remind me of a green bunny! Cute, but slightly evil with that scar," she thought for a second, "A demonic bunny!"

Dabi watched as she embarrassed herself and fell, but he didn't give the green haired boy another glance. He watched him from the corner of his eye as he moved to the counter, asking Kurogiri for some sake. He figured he wouldn't ask about the kid, or how he got that nasty scar across his eyes. It's not like he cared anyways.

Midoriya for the most part, stays quiet throughout the other conversations happening near him. Toga sits next to him, but doesn't touch him or talk much. Dabi and Tomura bicker at one another, and Kurogiri interferes when needed.

"So, Midoriya, how was the date?" Kurogiri asked him, sliding a soda can his way. He was met with the boy's emerald eyes staring holes into him, and when everyone else went quiet, he knew for certain that he fucked up.

"Fuck you, Kuro!" Midoriya spit out.

"Ooo~ Who's the lovely lady? I'm jealous…," Toga hummed out.

Dabi, as stoic as ever, "Did it end with a good fuck?"

Shigaraki just looked at him, and rolled his eyes. He was not getting into this.

Midoriya's face flushed at Toga's comment, then deepened with a rosy tint from Dabi's. He was not prepared for the sudden switch in attention. He coughed as he drank the carbonated drink.

He cleared his throat and whispered, "He wasn't a girl…" In which Toga squealed loudly which resulted in another glass ruined by Shigaraki's quirk.

He looked up at Dabi next, "Ah, no, we're friends?" He asked himself mostly than the rest of them. "I think. He wants to hang out again, I'm pretty sure…" In which, as a response to the subtle question, Dabi slipped his hand into his pocket and grabbed a couple condoms and slid them across to the now tomato red boy.

Kurogiri felt horrible for giving the boy unwanted attention, so he tried to change the subject. "So, did Todoroki tell you about his dual quirks?" That instantly got everyone to look directly at Izuku, who just yelled a string of curses at the older villain.

He should really learn to shut up.

Although, he did notice that Dabi disappeared when he mentioned Todoroki's name, he figures he had a run-in with his father or something…

Shigaraki, who earlier decided he wasn't going to be apart of the shit-show of drama, was now interested and scooted his bar stool close to Midoriya. "Spill. Everything you know. You aren't leaving here until you do."

Midoriya gulped, and did as he was told.

Shouto Todoroki didn't really know why, but his ears were burning up. He checked his forehead for a fever, which he didn't have, so he tried to ignore the blood rushing to his ears.

It wasn't like anyone would be talking about him, right?
