Prepare for Trouble and Make It Twice!

Toga came down the next day, hair disheveled and her face stained red. Midoriya looked at her then wiped his face, and she copied his action. She giggled when she got some of the mysterious red liquid on the back of her hand.

Dabi walked in next, grumbling a "good morning ass hats" then stalking to the fridge, his newest prey. Mustard came down after a few minutes, fear painted across his face.

Dabi looked amused, "Kid, what's with you? Toga take your tongue?" Toga giggled brightly and Mustard winced.

"Dude, no. Like there's three other people that look exactly like her! What the fuck!" Mustard practically yelled.

Midoriya looked over to Toga, who's smile has taken up most of her face. A usual look for her. "Look, Mustard, I get it. You haven't been around people for a while, I know living with these shit-heads is tough. It takes some getting used to. This is how she normally is, and how she normally acts."

"Get used to it, Ketchup," Dabi added with a smirk.

Mustard reluctantly shut up. He kept an eye out for Toga and her assumed clones.

Toga's "pet" that she had dragged in the day before introduced himself shortly after a late breakfast. He seemed cool, and everyone got along with him. And his split personalities. Mustard, on the other hand, was still suspicious.

"Hey! Twice! What's up?" Dabi had called him over after he talked with Shigaraki.

Midoriya watched as Twice walked over to Dabi, and he looked to Shigaraki. He was smiling. Oh. Oh no. Not good. He quietly made his way to the boss of the League and sat next to him. Kurogiri slid him a can of off-brand soda.

"What's got you so happy? Is it something with the new guy?" Midoriya whispered to Shigaraki. The green-haired teen watched as his smile grew even wider, an impossible feat in Midoriya's eyes.

"Shh. Twice has a plan to scare the kid. Everyone's on board, even Toga. Just watch the show."

And so, Midoriya watched the scene unfold.

Twice #1 (the real one? Midoriya wasn't sure) was talking over by Dabi, who seemed animated in their conversation about Western comics. Mustard was sitting on the couch, wedged into the corner, his phone was making all sorts of laser noises and weird sound effects.

Another Twice walked into the room casually, as if Twice #1 was never there. Twice #2 decided he was going to sit next to Mustard to watch him play his game. This Twice decided that slightly leaning into Mustard's space was oddly appropriate, and Mustard paid no mind to anything that was going on around him.

Toga then walked in with Twice #3. They were both laughing and talking and cracking jokes with each other, as if they had known each other their whole lives. She kept calling him "Jin", and Midoriya, watching from the sidelines, had to assume that was his given name. Mustard has started to fidget in his cornered spot on the couch, trying to move away from Twice #2.

Twice #4 and #5 made their way to where the counter of the bar was. Twice #4 asked for gin, while Twice #5 asked for the same cola Midoriya had. Kurogiri gave them their respective drinks, then leaned forward on the counter watching the madness. Shigaraki and Midoriya start to giggle, holding back their laughter as much as humanly possible. Midoriya thinks his lungs are going to burst if he holds it in any more.

Kurogiri decided its time to introduce the army of Twice. He calls out to Mustard across the room, "Young Mustard, would you like some apple juice? Or a Ramune? What do kids your age drink nowadays?"

Mustard, who was completely oblivious to the whole situation, looked up to turn around to respond to the mist man, when he was face-to-face with Twice #1, #2, and #3. Mustard jumped out of fear and being surprised, letting go of his phone and watching it fly through the air.

As if the whole phone flying through the air and down to the ground scene was filmed in slow motion, Twice #4 and Twice #5 both jumped off their stools to reach to grab and ultimately save the phone. Mustard, watching five different Twice's move around to save the small device, was frozen in shock. He paled drastically and almost fainted when one of the five decided it was a perfect time to dissolve into a puddle when it (he?) crashed into the couch.

Toga started laughing hard, doubled over and holding her stomach. Dabi chuckled and watched as Mustard screamed in horror, like out of a cheesy thriller film. Shigaraki started laughing, and Kurogiri joined soon after the other three had dissolved as well. The real Twice was on the floor a crying and laughing mess.

"T-That wasn't— You guys!" Mustard cried out. "Y-You all fucking… Fucking suck-k!"

Everyone's laughter only grew louder after his voice cracked.

Todoroki got to UA half an hour earlier than usually making it just on time. Aizawa would usually walk in after Todoroki would find his seat or a couple minutes after the first bell would ring. Being extremely early was unusual for him.

He wanted to avoid his father the most, but also didn't want to seem to purposely go out of his way either. Him leaving this early and getting to school on time for "studying" seemed like a good enough cover.

He opened the tall door and walked in silently, his shoes barely making any noise as he moved to turn on the lights. He walked over to his desk, put his bag down next to his chair and covered his head in his arms, a weak attempt to "hide" himself from any unwanted conversations. He fell asleep without realizing after two minutes of peaceful breathing.

Bakugou walked into Class 1-A's room at his usual time, Iida and Yaoyorozu already in their assigned desks. Fucking nerds. Bakugou was not expecting to see Todoroki at his desk, face covered and his back rising up and down slowly. Yaoyorozu must've made a small blanket to cover him with to avoid the other later students walking to him and waking him up. Even Bakugou knew not to wake up the dual quirk user, getting frozen or burned from being scared awake doesn't sound fun.

He made his way to his desk, nodding to the other two classmates. He sat down, threw his bag under his desk, albeit a bit more careful to not create a large sound, and took out his phone. The news lately has been following a sleeping gas quirk kid running around and using his quirk, now the news is focusing more on the fact that the kid /disappeared/. Bakugou didn't have to think much to know who found him. It wasn't hard to imagine green eyes and hair, a scary smile, and freckles.

After school, Todoroki sought out Bakugou. After his nap in the morning, his school day passed rather quickly, and rather than actually focusing in class he was thinking of questions he would ask Bakugou.

He saw the blonde leave after the last bell of the day rang, he stumbled to his feet and gathered his things and bag, slinging it over his shoulder and running out to catch up. Bakugou hadn't noticed Todoroki following him, so he made sure to announce his close proximity before tapping his shoulder.

"Bakugou! Wait up! I— I have a question!" Todoroki called out a couple feet away from Bakugou. The blonde turned to his direction and stopped walking, they were already fairly away from UA, so their other classmates won't hear their conversation.

"What do you want, shit head? I've got places to be," he forcefully let out, his voice strained and not intimidating to say the least.

Todoroki noticed the change of tone in his voice, and softened his own. "I just… What, uh," he tried to word the question to not get Bakugou riled up, "Um, what happened between you guys?"

He didn't need to say who "you guys" actually meant, and Bakugou knew as well as to whom he was talking about. Bakugou sighed softly, "It's complicated. I want to… No, I need to clear my mind before I can talk about what went wrong."

Todoroki nodded, understanding. "I'm sorry for bringing it up… For bringing him up. I won't push you for answers. Just, um… Find me. When you're ready to talk."

Bakugou watched Todoroki's face twist with anxiety and understanding. He bowed his head slightly, mumbling, "Thanks."
