A Light Out (Somewhere)

The emotional explosion left Deku weak. Leaning against the cold cement walls as Bakugou stayed stiffly on his own spot. His eyes softened when he looked to the blonde, the hard emeralds seemed to lighten with the late afternoon light in the alleyway.

"This is it, I guess?" Deku comments from under a deep exhale.

Bakugou shifts, "What do you mean?"

"Never see you again? Mom never sees me? You erase this meet-up from your memory forever?"

Hard red eyes matched soft green ones. "This may sound out of character for me, but, Dek—Izuku, I won't leave you in the dark. Not this time. I'll get Icy Hot to help too. We'll be here for you."

Deku couldn't control the tears running down his cheeks as a whole new wave of tears ran down his freckled cheeks.
