The Last Fire Warrior

Not long after they left, Katherine came in and checked her daughter's condition. Angeline's fingers moved and she's awake. Her body was weak and empty as she cants felt anything but the sound of her own breath. "Angeline..." an unknown voice could be heard but it seems like it's too far away from her. Katherine keeps repeating her name as she slowly shook her daughter's body. "Angeline..." 


Soon, Angeline can recognise her mother's voice. "Mama?" She said weakly.  "You're awake..." Katherine talked softly. Angeline opened her eyes but she only can see darkness. "Mama, why you didn't switch on the light?" She fixed herself in a sitting position. "Hmm...?" Katherine didn't know how to acknowledge her question. < I can't tell her about that > she sighed. 


"Allow me to take her memory of this problem. I bet she will never memorize anything about it until someone told her the truth." Velna said as she took a delightful sip from her tea. "Alright, I trust you," Katherine said with a smile. "I will give her something that can help her and I will leave you a note too"


She took the note and read it. "Maybe this will help you to see clearer"  She lent her a pill given by Velna and put it on Angeline's palm for her to eat. "What is this" she touched it. Angeline said like a blind person as her eyes opened wide but she still can't see anything except darkness.  "Eat it. It's chewable" 


Angeline chews the pill and her vision started to become a little clearer. Once she has her vision back, she hugged her mother. "Mama... it's nice to see you again" she cuddled. "I'm going downstairs and take plenty of rest. Papa will be around tomorrow." Katherine said as she folds the note and put it into her pocket. When Katherine left the room, the room felt so empty. She stands up and opened the curtain as all the pain and weakness disappeared before he knew it. She took her phone and looked at her WhatsApp. Her Japanese bestie, Kitana Uzuyama friend her chat her.

She replied to her message and saw the pills on her table beside her bed. She took one and eat it as she taught its a normal candy. She chew it one by one and it gave a various sweet taste. "Yumm... tasty," She said in Japanese. She giggled as she realized she said something in a different language and it was so hilarious but talking Japanese was common to her as it's Kitana's mother tongue.


 She took her novel from her drawer and saw an icy little box designed perfectly for a girl. The detail of the box made her ecstatic. She opened it and saw a blue crystal necklace. "Wow who gave me this?" She smiled. Since this is her personal room and she has no other sibling it's impossible for someone's stuff to be in her room. She closed it back as she wasn't a type of girl who obsessed with jewellery or something like it. 


Her novel is about a teenage boy who travelled through ancient time and also ruled one of the popular dynasties. Action novel and she will never apart as long as she hasn't finished reading it.
