The Trip

After spending the last few days in Lycan and just finishing up the festival it was time for Lucas to say his good byes before making his way to the center of town. On his hip was his Katana from his father which he decided to name Kiba. His father explained that every great sword has a name. Originally Lucas wanted to name it Okami no Kiba but thought it was to long so he shortened it. So Lucas and Kiba along with the rest of his things that he could fit in his bag where headed to the meeting spot. Lucas got their not too long after. He didn't rush but casually strolled through town saying his goodbyes on the way out.

He looked around until he saw Sasha and Troy standing together waiting on him. Seeing this Lucas picked up his pace a bit before reaching them. Lucas was the first to speak, " I hope you two enjoyed your holiday is everyone ready?". Sasha spoke first " Mine was great I got a new out fit and some new armor." Seeing this Lucas couldn't help but smile. Troy spoke up next, " Mine was regular I got a great sword from my father and some other little things as well but I left most of the other things to save room." Then the two of them both nodded that they were ready. After picking up some supplies for and the three of them were off to the City of Knight.

The journey would take about a week to get their. They would pass through a couple smaller towns such as Riften and Rorikstead. Their first day of travel went smoothly they had shifted and were holding their bags in their mouths as they ran. Sometimes as they were running they'd encounter a swamp so they would have to go around as Lucas didn't want to risk having to fight the giant basilisk and alligators found in them. The beast made for a tough opponent even for the three of them together. They continued on and stopped only to hunt and replenish their energy on the first day. The sun was starting to set and the moon would soon come out. This excited the trio as they enjoyed the night it made traveling faster as well as more peaceful.

To any one that didn't know if werewolves they would of died from a heart attack from the sight of three massive wolves running through the woods at an amazing speed. Lucas was in front of Sasha and Troy. Troy was on his right and Sasha on his left. After running for a few more hours

they decided to sleep. Tomorrow they would pass through Riften.

The following morning went smoothly as well they travelled all day but as afternoon was approaching they were close to Riften. The trio stopped right outside the edge of the city. Lucas and Troy shifted back human in the open and got dressed as Susan went for a more secluded spot. Once the three were all dressed with packs on their back they headed into Riften. It was a big town but not big enough to be considered a city. It didn't have any walls around it the only way the city could protect it was the few towers that around the town their were 7 of those. Other than that the only other way to protect it was to block the roads.

Once they entered the gates showed their ID care to the guard and paid the toll they were off to find an Inn. The ID cards were a relatively new thing his father had implemented and pushed for the Ruler to do so as well. It was useful for keeping track of the population as well as keeping tabs of what criminals went where. Those with out a criminal record weren't kept track of. The criminals ID cards had a certain mark on them, all of the cards were Imbued with magic so it was very hard to alter anything on them unless you were an extremely wealthy criminal or very high level mage.

Once through the gates the three headed to a Inn it wasn't as nice as most would expect a noble to stay in fact it was the cheapest they could find. They all shared a room and Troy and Lucas would sleep on the floor. Once settled they rested for a bit and headed out to see the town. Their first stop was the market while their Lucas noticed something odd. He could sense someone watching him so instantly went on guard but you couldn't tell from looking at him as he stayed calm on the outside. They walked around the market looking at the unique little things here and their but at the end of the market was a stall and in it was some pups. Lucas instantly saw one the same color as his fur and couldn't help him self. The only difference was that it had 2 different color eyes one blur and one a golden color. Just as he was about to reach for his coin purse his instincts told him to dodge so he stepped to the side and pushed Troy and Sasha back as well. Where he was once standing a man was their reaching for his coin purse. This angered Lucas so he rushed forward grabbed the mans arm and with his brute strength alone ripped the mans arm of and beat him with it.

Everyone was surprised by his action someone even screamed soon guards rushed over and surrounded Lucas who yelled at them, " Instead of keeping me like a prisoner why not arrest the thief if he's still alive that is." A few soldiers looked over them back at him and drew their weapons Lucas didn't like this but he didn't want to be arrested or deal with the guards at the moment so he said, " My name is Lucas White my father is Alexander White current Lord of Lycan." Hearing this the guards lowered their guard and sturdy looking man in Arnie with gold accents spoke," my name is Xavier I'm the guard captain. Can you explain what happened?" Lucas nodded his head and explained what happened. The guard captain asked him why he used such extreme measures. Lucas said, " That wasn't the only theif following me around from my senses I picked up about six and seeing as I'm traveling with a lady I had to show a feat of strength to scare off other possible thief's."

After hearing Luxas reasoning Susan rolled her eyes at him and Troy just nodded understandably that Lucas was turning it their favor with this extra information. With the matter settled Lucas purchased the dire wolf pup and arranged transport to the manor along with a letter telling his father to name him as he sees fit.

After that the three went to the inn and slept to the next day before heading to the next town. Rorikstead was still 2 days away only a day from the Capital though. The remainder of the trip was uneventful until they reached the Capital. Once in the Capital city of Knight the nobles were all attending a banquet with other Nobles the king was supposed to even appear. Since the king was supposed to make an appearance it would be rude of Lucas to not go since he's in the city already. Even though Lucas hated the idea he would still attend the banquet when he got their. But Lucas decided to worry about that when he got their. But until then he grinned outwardly causing both Michael and Tasha to glance him questioning. Lucas just grinned and asked if they've ever been to a royal banquet neither had as he had guessed so he of course invited them out if the kindness of his heart. After a couple more minutes and explaining basic etiquette the capital city of Knight came into view.
