A new chapter of life being for Sophie when she starts her sophomore year of high school.
will she be able to face the obstacles that life throws on her? 
it's a question to which we don't know the answer yet but what we know is that through it all her best friends will stick by her side during the times of hardship.

who will Sophie choose among her poker face rival who also happens to be her mentor Kevin, her sweet childhood friend Aaron or her new friend Joshua.

Signs of Youth

looking from a distance as a viewer one could say Joshua is great at playing basketball.


the three girls ask the boys to take other half court to which Joshua disagrees at first causing a tiff between him and Sophie. 


but agrees when Brian and Peter ask him. 


As he walks away Sophie for the first time acknowledges his hot body soaked in wet. 


Sophie comes back to reality when Alicia shakes her and they continue to play. 


more and more girl joins the indoor field mostly because of Joshua. 


as their separate game goes on Joshua and Sophie bump into each other for servicing as their respective opponents scores. 


'watch your back' says Joshua in a cold manner and pushes Sophie away in order to continue.


Sophie push him back saying that she is also here to play. 


Joshua let's out a laugh and due to his height he bend over a bit to face Sophie and says 


'do you even know how to play basketball and are you even able to shoot the hoop with you being a little one'


Alicia moves forward to stop Joshua but Sophie stops her and move closer to Joshua and says


'one kick at your crotch and you may not even be able to have a little one.'


Everyone in the field watches as Joshua takes few steps back. 


the humiliation makes Joshua to challenge Sophie at a basketball match. 


Cheryl leader of the schools cheerleading teams walks to centre, ready to throw the ball.


with Joshua and Sophie at centre other at back and a few students watching, the match starts. 


dues to his height Joshua taps the ball away. which Peter takes and runs toward the hoop for a lap shot. 


Alicia covers Peter and takes over the ball passes it Kate but Brian comes in middle and takes the ball and scores.


Joshua takes the ball and passes it to Sophie 


and Sophie then passes the ball to Kate nearly missing it.


Kate makes a foul as she double dribble the ball. 


Brian takes the ball for service and passes it to Joshua but Sophie comes in middle takes the ball and run towards the hoop for a lap shot as she jumps Joshua tries to make an attempt to stop her but instead Sophie passes it to Alicia who goes for a 3 pointer and is successful.


the girls take the lead over the game. 


finally getting tired Alicia and Kate walks out but Sophie stays. with a quick response Brian and Peter also quit leaving Joshua and Sophie alone. 


Brian walks up to Sophie give her a hug and says nice match while Peter places a peck on Sophie's face. 


resulting in Joshua to ask if she is close with the boys. 


'I am much closer to them then I am with my family.'


hearing the reply Joshua realises it's Sophie about whom Brian and Peter keeps talking about. 


they soon decide to call it a tie and get back to their classes. 


as the school gets over Joshua starts getting close to the gang( Sophie,Alicia, Brian and Peter) especially Sophie making a few girls jealous.
