Shard of Glass

Mom has always taught me that having one true friend was a lot better than a schoolyard of fake ones.

If a true friend was a diamond that's hard to find, fake friends on the other hand were as common as shards of glass.

But I've never met a shard as thick and shameless as this one.

I closed my eyes and started counting to calm myself down before I do something that I would regret later on. '1 dragon… flame dragon… 2 dragons… flame dragons… 3 dragons...'

"Nadeen," Craige said with a stern voice which somehow cooled down my anger.

But the wench was not taking the hint and she smiled up at him sweetly. "Yes?"

"...flame dragons… 4 dragons…"
