Not Me

It was already almost midnight but I kept tossing and turning in my bed. Alone.

Yes. Alone.

Craige called some people to fix the damage that I made in Zeanne's room. And that left me with no excuse to continue crashing in his room for the third time.

"Would he also try to get rid of her if she was the one crashing in his room instead of me?"

I didn't turn on the thing that makes the room cooler and just left the new windows wide open. But I still felt stuffy even though it was a little chilly and no matter what I did it was so difficult for me to fall asleep.

And that's how I found myself knocking on his door in the middle of the night despite telling myself multiple times not to. I didn't even wait for him to tell me to come in and just opened the door.

"Hey. Do you need anything?" He took off his glasses and closed the book that he seemed to be reading. It was the same book that I just finished reading as well and left me befuddled.
