I'll post this so you guys know the outline of the story. I'm basically giving the ending the novel here, because I wanted you guys to have a conclusion. Sure, I could write this novel for years but with my current release rate, that would take a decade before it finishes. I don't have that kind of time, not when I get nothing from this.
What I will say is that if I ever get around to writing this again, I'll give you guys a heads up. I'll probably be putting up a patreon when the time comes. Enjoy!
Akatora - Ages throughout the story - 6/13/29
Sanboi, as he was temporarily named by Sengoku. He is the Sun human who ate the Sun Sun fruit, whose ferocious attacks send pirates running at the sight of his 'Yellow Sun Ship'. His favorite attack is the manifestation of tigers that would roam about, following his will. He could also shape his body into a man with tiger like appearance due to his soul being one of the four Devils, The Devil Tiger of the Tiger Tribe.
This form is improved by having a tail made from sun energy, red stripes also covers his whole body. These red stripes contain devil energy that allows him to enhance his haki. Eventually he learns to control his powers to the point where his light doesn't burn anyone, unless he wants to. Turning it into a gentle light that can carry weight and change shape.
A boy born in the Tiger Tribe, whose original home was the Tiger Shore. A tribe that were mostly involved in swordsmithing and fishing, their work with the world government usually involved weapons trade that was contracted for protection. However, this deal was not upheld when the tribe were faced with an attack by the pirate Xebec D. Rocks. The Rocks Pirates that attacked on the same day that Garp, Sengoku and Tsuru were on patrol. They didn't get to help the tribe as they were forced to protect a Celestial Dragon that was coincidentally passing through, Rosward who was going to buy his first slave at the tender age of 12.
The tribe was first threatened by Rocks, who then made the blacksmith men work on a new batch of swords that he wants for them to make. The men resist, hoping to buy time for the Marines that never came. Rocks then murders the tribe chief, causing chaos that he had immediately stopped by using his devil fruit. The darkness darkness fruit. He then uses it to swallow the body of the chief, as if he was feeding on his life force. He then threatens the men that every sword they make will free one person. Making the tribe work hard to do his bidding,
The young Akatora of this time was watching the scene unfold with curious eyes. Unsure of why his father was working so earnestly that he seemed to be so terrifying, he only followed his instructions to the best of his abilities. However, he was faced with the horrifying scene of his mother getting stabbed by Rocks when she refused to help the Pirates.
Rocks, who was acting like the kill was a waste then absorbs her body. Akatora watched as not even a drop of his mother's body was left behind. He turns mad and attacks Xebec, who looks at the boy's face and was surprised. The boy didn't just look like him, he was also wearing the same necklace he had given his lost son all those years ago. He was about to talk Akatora down when red marks appeared around his skin, making red stripes that contrasted against the boy's pure black eyes. But before Akatora could attack, his body breaks into a fit and he trembles. Xebec takes him into his arms while tears fell from his eyes, he finally found his son.
Akatora wakes up inside a room, lying on a comfortable bed while a man with golden locks sat on a chair while reading a book. The boy didn't understand what was happening, but before he could ask the man on the chair, a man opened the door and walked in. Akatora hurriedly ran to the man while throwing a punch to his groin, but his hands were stopped by a finger flick from Xebec.
Akatora finds himself lying on the bed once again, but this time Xebec was looking down at him from the bedside. Akatora cries while asking to be killed, instead of what he though would be slavery. He wasn't ignorant of the ways of this world, he had learned much from his parents. But when he was crying, a hand wiped away his tears. He looked up to see that Xebec was looking at him in a familiar way, as if his father was sitting there instead of Xebec.
Xebec tries to warm up to Akatora, trying to explain his situation. It turns out that Xebec had loved a woman of the Tiger Tribe, Yuna D. Tiger. The two had travelled the sea as pirates for two decades, before they decided to finally have a family when Yuna conceives a child while they were at sea. The pregnancy of the child was met with strange occurrences. There were many times that Yuna was in danger, but in the end, she doesn't get a single scratch on her body. Storms would turn calm when she travels, tsunamis level out when she's around and even earthquakes stopped when she set foot on the land. It was as if the world was protecting Yuna and her child.
It was at this time that Yuna tells Xebec about her history, about the Tiger Tribe. That the heir of the Tiger Tribe is the Crimson Tiger, a child of the Tiger Tribe that carries the soul of the Devil Tiger. Yuna tells Xebec that they cannot let the Tiget Tribe know of their child, as they will surely come for them. Xebec heeds her warning, even settling on a secret island that only he and Yuna knows. But they weren't aware that while they were trying their best to hide, the Tiger Tribe had already set sail for their location. A log pose is held in their possession, holding the coordinates to the child's location.
It was a few months later, when Yuna was birthing Akatora, that the Tiger Tribe arrived at the island. They searched for the chosen, the child that will lead to the salvation of their tribe, eventually finding Yuna who was sleeping with the child in her arms. The home she had created with Xebec was invaded by the then Tribe Elder, who had asked Yuna to go home with them.
Xebec, who had traveled outside to gather more supplies came back a few days later, finding traces of a battle in the island. He went to their home and found dead bodies, five men, six women. Yuna's cold body lied on the floor, her face showing a struggling expression that haunted Xebec to this very day. He investigated the bodies and found that they were of the Tiger Tribe. He vowed to gather forces to slaughter the Tiger Tribe to avenge his wife and his child.
Akatora, who had heard of the story from Xebec's perspective couldn't believe him. He wanted to condemn his parents' murderer, but he couldn't shake the feeling inside him. He looked at Xebec and the face he saw overlapped with the face he sees when he looks at the still lake. It was as if the man before him was his reflection, proving to him that there was some truth in his words. Not knowing what to do, Akatora looks away from Xebec and becomes unresponsive.
A month passes, and Akatora had turned more lifeless as days passed. Xebec was worried about the boy's health and asks his crew for help. Charlotte Linlin says to send the boy a woman, having known the pleasures of the flesh could make most happy. She gets a slap to the back of the head by Edward Newgate, who then tells Xebec to talk to his son properly. All this while, Captain John is looking at the horizon with intent eyes. His instincts were telling him that a battle was coming, though he couldn't tell when.
Xebec decides to go with Edward Newgate's advice and goes to meet Akatora. The boy was already freed from his restraints, he was even allowed to wander around the ship. But the boy didn't get out of his room, not consuming more than a single bread and a single cup of water a day. His body was already failing, but he didn't care. It was as if he was already dead.
Xebec tells the boy about his childhood, how he had no idea how he stayed alive for the first fifteen years of his life. It was only when he met Yuna, Akatora's mother, that he came alive. Akatora, who had been unresponsive all this time had showed a little attention to Xebec's story, making Xebec happy. He told him about how they met, how Yuna had beaten up all that stood in her way. Xebex himself was a good fighter, but Yuna was the captain while he was her first mate. Her fierceness was only enhanced by time, making Xebec happy to be by her side rather than against her. But while she was aggressive to everyone around her, it wasn't the same when she was alone with Xebec.
While Xebec was telling his story, the door was opened with a bang and an anxious Shiki came forward. A massive fleet was coming, their flag wasn't that of a pirate or the marines, it was of the Four Tribes.
Xebec tells Akatora to stay inside the room while he goes out to check the situation. While the chasing fleet was numerous, Xebec's ship was too fast for them to catch up. He uses his devil fruit, the Wind Wind fruit and reverses the sails of the chasing fleet while pushing their's forward. The crew thought they were saved, but then the chasing fleet furled their sails. The sides of their ships
then opened, revealing paddles that forced their way through Xebec's winds. It would take a few minutes before they could catch up, and the crew was getting worried.
Reveals:
At God Valley, Xebec confronts Cipher Pol, the Celestial Dragons and Im-sama, but was stopped at the door of their headquarters by Garp, Sengoku and Tsuru. Xebec's crew takes them down while Xebec himself heads to Im-sama's throne room. It was then that Rogers comes there to take down Xebec, having gained a promise from the World Government that their crew will have immunity for until they reach the end of the New World.
When Xebec reveals himself to the world, he reveals that he was looking for his son who was taken by the Celestial Dragons. Akatora, who was already in the marines for a while does not remember Xebec due to the Devil Tiger soul inside him hiding this fact. The Devil Tiger does not like the man who had taken his descendants' lives, and wishes no connection with him. But when Akatora sees Xebec's face, he finally remembers his life at the ship.
He remembered how Xebec fought for him and gave him a life worth living. He recalled how he was taken away by Cipher Pol and became a slave under Im-sama's commands. He recalled how the only reason he escaped was when the Devil Tiger found enough control of Akatora's body and used the voice of all things to communicate with Sea Kings to send them towards safety. It was how Akatora ended up on Chocolate Village.
Akatora ends up having full control of the Devil Tiger and proceeds to fight back the Rocks Pirates to meet his father. But before he could meet Xebec, he was killed by Garp and Roger. Before he dies, Xebec meets Akatora who then carries his father's body to safety. His life would have been forfeited due to disobeying a Celestial Dragon's order to let Xebec's body go so he can stab him, but Garp intervenes and punches the Celestial Dragon to the point of unconsciousness. Garp then hears the story from Akatora, about the truth of the matter. Garp didn't know that Akatora was the son Xebec was looking for, and he feels bad about killing Akatora's father. He listens with Roger, who said that he won't leave without hearing the truth.
When Akatora was born, the Tiger Tribe had indeed come to the island. Yuna doesn't want to be stuck in the Tribe, but against Xebec's expectations, the Tiger Tribe didn't want to force her. They gave her the choice to go with her, and she refused. Expecting the worst, Yuna was about to fight back when she heard something she couldn't believe. The Elder had decided to let her go, but asked that they send her a squad to act as the child's bodyguard. Yuna couldn't believe their words, but was forced to accept the truth when she watched them sail away, leaving behind five men and five women behind to protect her and the child.
The truth was that while Xebec had thought that the island was safe, he didn't consider that the Tiger Tribe would have a way to go there. When the Tiger Tribe left, a single pirate attacked the island expecting treasures to be hidden there. The man with the Hollow Hollow devil fruit found Yuna and the rest, interrogated them for information and the two groups fought when they didn't tell him anything.
The man won, but didn't find a single treasure. He did find Akatora whose body was covered in red stripes, and thought that he should be a unique enough creature to sell in the slave market. He brought the child with him to sea and headed towards the Sabaody Archipelago. It was at this time that the Devil Tiger awakened in Akatora's body and he killed the lone, surviving pirate.
The Tiger Tribe turned around when the log pose showed that Akatora's position was changing, and the deal had already been made that Yuna would let them know their location in exchange for her and Akatora's freedom. They found Akatora and raised him under the protection of the Elder's son and his son's wife, who had no luck at having a child of their own.
All this while, Xebec had no idea what was happening on the island, and didn't know the relationship between his wife and the tribe. At the moment, he was still against the tribe due to the information he got from Yuna.
Akatora tells his Xebec that he had already taken revenge for his mother's death, and that he had found him as well. He says to Xebec that he is grateful for his father's love, and that he would live the rest of his days being free, just as his father and mother had lived their lives as free humans.
Xebec cries in apology for his mistakes, looks towards the sky and sees Yuna who was holding her arms out to embrace him. He gives one last laugh, coughs up blood and pats Akatora's shoulder while giving him one last smile. The man dies with a radiant smile on his face, receiving a smile from his son in return.
...
The story then goes back to Akatora of the present, training Rosinante and starting a family with Cocoa. They send Rosinante back to the Marines a few months later, and Akatora stays for five years behind on the Chocolate Village. He had three children, all girls that had similar looks to him. The five of them lived happily until Akatora is asked by Sengoku to return, intelligence about a fight between two emperors was received from a reliable source.
He goes to investigate, and finds out that Big Mom and Kaido were having a fallout. Turns out that Kaido wanted nothing to do with his children with Big Mom, wanting none of the proposed wedding between him and her. He tells her to screw off and headed back to his new territory, having trouble in that place as well.
A war between Big Mom and Kaido would have happened, but a new Emperor is declared. Shanks of the Red Haired pirates declares himself and Emperor, and Big Mom and Kaido stop their fight to defend against a possible attack from Shanks. If they injured themselves, Whitebeard had no power to take them down. But Shanks was different from the dying old man, he was too dangerous to let a mistake happen.
...
Ending:
Akatora dies while holding his head up high, battling against the World Government while buying time for the Revolutionary Army. Akatora wasn't a part of the revolutionary army, but he knew that they were needed for the liberation of the world. He smiled towards his best friend, the unconscious Dragon who had already given his all to protect his organization. The revolutionaries were sent away while a river of light blocked the Marine Fleet.
His family had already been sent for protection to Sengoku, they were safe. But it wasn't true that he had no regrets. Nevertheless, he smiled as he kept the Marines at bay, knowing that his life would lead to millions being saved from the hands of the World Government.
The extermination plan of Im-sama was thwarted by a single Vice-Admiral who had stopped the many cannon fire of the Buster Call all by himself. The Radiant Tiger will always be remembered as the man who protected the World with a smile on his face.
Details I wanted to point out:
-His father had the darkness fruit while he had the sun fruit.
-His mother was a possible Pirate Queen, but wanted no more than to protect her family, just as Akatora died to protect his family even though he could have become a Fleet Admiral.
