Lena was smiling when the door burst open.
However, Lena did not notice that the door was open. She muttered, "I must go and save him from his delusions."
"Whose delusions?" A voice said.
Lena did not look up before answering, and was still in her daze. "James's, of course!"
Then she looked up and finally noticed her brother, George, standing there.
"AAHHH! I mean... what delusions? Wha-what are you talking about!"
George simply gave his usual smile and walked into Lena's room. His smile gave Lena chills down her spine.
"Oh, really? I must've been mistaken then. Forgive me."
Lens rushed over to him with both hands forward, and practically pushed him onto a chair without touching him.
"S-so, George! How-How was your business trip with Dad?"
George's smile grew deeper when he saw Lena panicking. He decided to scare her more.
"Same old, same old. You know how it goes. I got invited to many different places, and offended about half of them, if not more. No it's more accurate to say that I offended two thirds of them. Those people are just very..."
He continued speaking, and Lena's face grew paler and paler the more he spoke.
Finally, after telling a long story about all the various families he offended, he looked directly into Lena's eyes and asked,
"So... Lena. What happened with James?"
