Ryan visits again IV

A few minutes passed, and Lena finally calmed down enough to leave her room again. She thought about everything she just heard, and made an important decision: she will keep her distance from Ryan. She must not lead on his feelings. Only a cruel woman would take advantage of a man's heart.

Lena came back to the living room, and this time the conversation between George and Ryan seemed completely normal, unlike the conversation earlier. It was as if that conversation never happened.

Ryan was the first one to see her this time. "Hi Lena! I came to visit you!" He said. He was obviously very happy. If Lena has not heard his love confession just now, she would have believed he was just being friendly. She now thought that he clearly had an ulterior motive.

"Why did you come?" She asked. Her voice sounded harsh, as if she was blaming him for something.

Ryan was very confused. Did he do something wrong? But he still answers pleasantly, "I came to visit you. I heard you were hospitalized and just discharged."

Lena frowned after she heard his words. She could not think of a way to tell him to go away. But she quickly responded, "There's no need for you to visit. Don't you have work that you need to finish?"

Ryan was shocked by the tone she used when speaking to him. She was never this harsh before, was she?

Even George was surprised when he heard her speak. What happened to his friendly little sister? But it was kind of amusing to see this, so he was smirking.

Lens quickly thought of something else to say after, just as Ryan opened his mouth to speak.

She said mockingly, "I was discharged yesterday, not today. What reason is there to visit me today? Really... a man should not be visiting a woman's house so often. It may lead her to believe that he loves her."

Then she patted Ryan's shoulder. "Really, you shouldn't keep making this mistake."
