As soon as Lena patted his shoulder, Ryan's face flushed bright red.
He turned away from both Lena and George, and covered his face with his hand. "I-it isn't what you think..." He stumbled to get the words out.
He was embarrassed, and he felt as if he was just exposed before Lena before the time was right.
George chuckled when he heard this, but he quickly hid his laughter. 'With Lena now acting like this, I'm going to have a fun time.' He thought.
Ryan than quickly said, "you- you misunderstood me! Lena..."
"Then why are you still here." Lena asked.
She felt a hint of smile appeared on her face, but her heart told it to go away. What she is doing is wrong, and she knows that it is wrong, but why is she enjoying it so much?
Ryan then stood up and stuttered, "I- I was just passing by. I-I am leaving now."
Then he ran out of the house as fast as he could. He was too embarrassed to stay longer. He was even blushing from embarrassment.
'Poor guy! But now his feelings for me must be long gone!' Lena thought to herself. 'I must have succeeded.'
"Why are you acting so strange, Lena?" George interrupted her thoughts.
Lena coughed, "What do you mean?" Her pitch was slightly higher than normal as she spoke.
