Lena felt her heart breaking all over again when she heard James's helpless cry. She had never seen him so devastated before.
Now she was again completely certain: James absolutely cannot be with Tina.
After all, Tina already caused him so much pain.
Lens opened his door slowly, but James didn't notice her at all. He was looking through papers after papers, and he was a mess.
He was crying as he looked through everything, and both his tears and his search were completely fruitless. There were no traces of Tina, at all, as if she never existed.
Lens felt really sad seeing him search like this, so she interrupted him. "Does she really exist? Are you sure that she wasn't just a dream?"
James bolted his head up to look at Lena. "Lena, What are you doing here?"
"I came to visit you, but it seems like I came at poor time." She walked over to James as she said this, and stood behind him. He had to turn around to see at her.
However, he didn't not look at her again. "Then why are you still here?" He asked. His tone was bland and lifeless, and even a little desperate. And Lena knew what he needed desperately.
"I'm here for you, of course!" She stated. James finally turned around to look at her.
"Why?" He asked. He was not sure if he was questioning Lena or himself.
Lens wrapped her arms around him suddenly, and he stiffened his muscles because he was not expecting the hug.
"Because you're not alone, in this, in anything. I am here for you, right by your side."
James relaxed when he heard her, and then he became lost in thought. 'She's right. Since we were children, she has always been by my side.'
Then he looked towards Lena who was still hugging him. 'Why did I leave her for a girl I can't even find?'
Suddenly he froze in his thoughts. 'Wait! What am I thinking?'
Suddenly he gently pushed Lena away, so that she was not hugging him anymore, as he thought, 'no! I must remain firm! I have already made my decision and I will follow through with it! I must find that girl!'
