The papers

Lena sat in shock while staring at the papers. George was resigning? But Lena thought that George wanted to be in the company?

Lens slowly bent down to look at all the papers. At first everything looked confusing, there were a bunch of numbers and words, and none of it made sense.

But then, Lena finished looking through the first paper and turned to the second.

This paper was so much easier to read. Everything was perfectly annotated by George, so anything she did not understand was explained in the margins.

She read through some more, and she noticed that the information was about the current situation of the business. She read through the few papers on that multiple times, and then decided to go to her room to finish reading.

She had to read everything, and have everything memorized, before she could go to work in a couple days.

After all, she was suddenly taking a high up position without any prior experience or proper education in the field of business.

She read the papers for hours and hours. There were a lot of papers, and so little time, but as she read, she began to understand more and more about everything she needed to know.

She stayed up all night reading. Then she slept in the whole next day.
