So...

Lena returned home to find George waiting for her by the front door.

"You're back!" George said, giving his mischievous grin. He was up to something, and Lena knew subconsciously that he was up to no good.

"You wanted to talk to me?" Lena asked. She wanted to get this conversation over with so that she did not have to worry about George's mischief.

"Yes. Lets talk in the other room." George said as he began to walk away. Lena followed him, and she could not help but wonder what he was going to talk about. Was it about work? Could it be about James?

They arrived at the living room, and they both sat across from each other.

"So..." George began, "I heard you want to take over the company..."

Lena started at him and slowly responded, "y- yes..."

George grabbed a large bag from behind his chair, one that Lena did not notice when she walked into the room, and opened it quickly.

Lena had no idea what he was doing.

"So... as you know... there is a lot of responsibility that comes with running the company..." George continued speaking while still rummaging through the bag. His grin only seemed to grow wider and gave Lena an ominous feeling.

"Mhmm..." Lena responded, unsure of what he was going to say next.

"Father wanted me to decide where you are going to work, so..." George have a dramatic pause while he pulled stuff out of the bag.

Lena started at him nervously. What was her position going to be?

George slammed a large stack of papers on the table and Lena jumped from fright.

"From now on, you are going to take my position!" His grin was really wide. Lena was confused and could not process what he just said.

George continued, "I decided to resign, and you will take my place."

George looked at Lena and was satisfied seeing the expression of shock on her face. He left the papers on the table and walked to his room, singing, leaving Lena alone in her shock.
