That day

Lena was lying in bed that night, thinking about all that happened that day.

Her eyes became teary when she remembered that James and Tina met already. She thought of how James had a different look in his eyes, a look that was filled with tender love. She thought of how his voice became sweeter, of how his gaze would linger, but she knew that none of this was for her.

Yes, it hurt to think of how Tina got everything Lena wanted, anything Lena ever wanted, all that Lena wants, and all that Lena will ever want.

Lena wanted James to look at her that way, or talk to her that way, and have his gaze linger on her. She wanted all, but she could not get all.

Tina got all. But Tina was clueless about all of it.

Lena could not think of anything but this fact. Her eyes were teary, but she shed no tears. Tears were pointless; they could only bring pity. But Lena did not want pity, so she could not cry.

She wanted to get everything that belonged to her. Even James was already hers, and she will get him back at any cost.

Lena took out her phone and made a call. There was a dark gleam in her eyes, and she smiled with a horrifying smile.
