A couple of years after Lobo picked up the kid he decided to quit his crew and take a few years off to raise the child he picked up.
His men weren't so happy with his decision and tried to convince him to drop the kid off at some orphanage, but that still didn't sit well with Lobo.
So now with only him, the kid and a ship the bounty hunter found an abandoned planet with decent conditions to raise the boy.
His past as an ex-Czarnian palace guard made him an excellent teacher- he had knowledge in pretty much every topic of importance.
Once Raxdos turned 15 Lobo decided to resurface in the world of bounty hunting, his nickname 'The Main Man' still striking fear in many escaped criminals.
The first job that Lobo took together with his adopted son involved the capture of a crew of Branx robbers.
It was during this job that Lobo realised just how strong Raxdos truly is- in terms of strength he knew he stood no chance so during their spars he would use grappling techniques on the kid.
Czarnian physiology allowed Lobo to survive, with some injuries, should Raxdos ever punch him with full strength. But the same couldn't be said for the Bronx.
They aren't a weak alien race and are actually well known for their viciousness in combat... but the scene of Raxdos tearing them limb from limb disproved all these rumours.
It appeared that the two races that combined to make Raxdos have him incredible abilities as well. His left eye could generate the typical Kryptonian heat beams, capable of melting most objects.
From his Tamaranean side he inherited the ability to shoot green beams of concentrated stellar energy from his right eye. The ability to manipulate solar energy and release extremely powerful blast from his hands was also something he could do.
Lobo taught Raxdos how to use these 'talents' to maximum efficiency.... and boy does he think it was a fantastic idea now.
Lobo was left spectating the scene of Raxdos decimating an entire crew of the galaxies most notorious criminals without braking a sweat.
After only half the crew was left they decided there was now way to win this and took out a weird green crystal from a heavily encased container.
Lobo recognised the mineral as the only weapon in the galaxy to be effective against Kryptonians- weaponised kryptonite.
"Raxdos watch out!" He shouted but was too late to react.
The one carrying the sharpened crystal leaped to Raxdos and tried to stab him in the back... only for the crystal to break?
"You trying to tickle me or something?" Were the last words the man heard before his head was melted by a combination of heat beams and concentrated solar energy.
*No fucking way...* thought Lobo along with every other Bronx criminal.
"We surrender!"
"Please spare us!"
What was rest of the gang fell to their knees and shouted pleas for mercy. Raxdos wasn't a psychopath and only did it for the money so he spared them. They were then taken to the galactic authorities where they could be then sent off to Takron-Galtos.
The authorities looked at Raxdos and Lobo as if they were monsters, subduing a crew of 150 bloodthirsty Bronx with just the two of them. Whenever they tried to send any ship themselves to take care of them let's just say that they never returned.
"What do you think of my first job old man?" Raxdos asked inside the ship's cockpit as they were counting their reward money, which was quite a hefty sum.
"Not bad, not bad at all. Don't let it get to your head though, there are plenty of people out there that are a lot stronger than you."
Although Lobo said that he dreamed how legendary this duo will become, thinking that the title of the galaxies most notorious bounty hunting crew already belongs to them.
"Whatever you say Chief." Replied Raxdos with a sigh.
