Chapter One: The Gang

[HER POV]

Loud music welcomed me when I enter the bar. The smells of liquors linger in my nostrils. Cigarettes? None. Smoking is prohibited here, only liquors. This bar is a high class bar. I walk straight at the VIP room where I found the gang. The gang is my friends ever since. Where not gangster okay? I just want to call them gang. We are business women. They run different company and their companies are under my empire. So, if my empire is at stake of course their company will suffer too.

"Ohh! Here's our "my lady"."- I glared at Mara for calling me that. She always did that to tease me. Tsk.

MARA DHY SCOTCH. As the name imply. She owns the biggest Vineyard in Europe and Russia. 31 years old. The oldest and the drunkard of the group. She loves to drink alcoholic drinks since she was 16 years old. SINGLE and ready to mingle but never on a serious relationship. Flirt? Yes, but never been laid. And she owns this bar.

"Tsk. Stop that. You know I hate hearing that word from you guys."- I said and rolled my eyes and sit next to Vine.

"Ohh? Not on the mood ei? What happened?"- Vine asked.

NICA DEVINE CHRISTIE. 31 years old. SINGLE. Cold to others but childish when it comes to us. She owns the number one Publishing Company here in the Asia. She loves books. Second to the oldest next to Mara. No boyfriend since birth but had a lot of crushes. She also owns Aviation Company and Oil Trading Company. Innocent but GREEN. :P

"Tsk. Nothing. It's just that the board wants me to find a husband or else they would force me to step down on my position as the CEO. What's worst is they want me to have an heir."- I said with anger in my voice.

"WHAATT???!"- They shouted in chorus. The same reaction as me. No doubt, they're my friends.

"What the hell? Why would they do that?"- Tanya said in disbelief so I told them everything the board said in the meeting.

TANYA FEI CLARKSON- MORGAN. 30 years old. MARRIED. Yes, she's already married. Arranged marriage to be exact. They've been living together for almost 4 years now. They had a child. A cute boy. And his 2 years old. She's against broken family, divorce, annulment so she's trying her very best to keep her family. Her husband is not bad at all. He's kind actually, rich, and handsome. The Morgan owns a law firm. Tanya's husband is a prosecutor and Tanya is a lawyer. They also owns malls, trading and shifting company.

"That old hug! Swear, I'm gonna punch him to death when I see him. Tsk."- Anger is evident in Aria's eyes while saying that.

ARIA SHIE MONTECILLO (Ar-ya). 28 years old. Second to youngest. Unfortunately, I am the youngest, that's why they always tease me whenever they want. Tsk. SINGLE. She owns resorts, hotels, restaurants and a Food Trading Company. She loves to eat but never gotten fat don't know why. Childish but knows when and how to get serious. And when she's serious like this she becomes a war freak. We call her BLACK ARIA. The HYPOTENSIVE BEAST of the group. Because she's not a morning person just like me. She cares for her friends like family that's why she don't want any of her friends get bullied or hurt by someone else. Her clan's iron clad: "never lie to a Montecillo."

"Relax Aria! May mga tauhan ka namang pwedeng gumawa bakit kailangan mo pang dumihan ang mga kamay mo ng dugo ng nilalang na yun?"- Justine said while laughing.

JUSTHINE YLANA CASTILLO. 31 years old. SINGLE. She owns hospitals, orphanage and home for the ages. She also owns Entertainment and Production Company that produces a lot of outstanding artist. She's the happy go lucky among the group. But she knows when to get serious.

"We have the same problem. *sigh*"- I look at Dunya in disbelief. What did she just said?

DUNYA AIRA SOLVIDARES. 29 years old. SINGLE. She owns a Textile Company, also trading and shipping company. She can be your kindest friend but she can also be your worst enemy when she's mad.

"What do you mean by that?"- I asked and I notice that all our attention is on her.

"We're the same but different in aspect. My dad wants to see his grandchildren already. Kesyo matanda na daw siya at baka hindi na niya mahintay pa ang mga magiging apo niya. Tsk. Now, he wants me to find a husband. But I'm not yet ready to get married."- She said with a frown.

"Actually, me too."- We all look at Mara when she said that.

"What do you mean?"- Tanya asked.

"Kinukulit na ako ng parents ko na mag-asawa. Gusto na nila akong pumasok sa seryosong relasyon. Mag-asawa at magkapamilya. Pero ayoko pa. Alam niyo namang wala akong alam sa pagseseryoso di ba?"- She said looking away before she drinks her rhum.

"Yan kasi. Puro ka flirt. Mawawala ka na sa kalendaryo pero hindi ka pa nakakatikim ng bawal na sarap... . Baka tuluyan nang magsara yan...."- Vine said with a teasing smile. She's a little . . . just little pervy. (-___-")7

"Wow ha?? At sayo pa talaga nangaling ang salitang yan? Bwisit na to ei birhen ka padin naman ah?! Akala mo naman bata pa. Baka nakakalimutan mo malapit ka na ding mawala sa kalendaryo. Hmmpt."- Mara

And the quarrel has begun. Here they go again. This two loves to quarrel and tease each other but they're the closest among the group.

"Excuse me. Who said I'm still a virgin?"- Vine said while raising her brows. We all look at her in shock. What the hell?

"What the? Hindi nga? Panu? Saan? Kanino? HOOYY!! Magkwento ka!"- Tanya demanded. The rest were listening.

"Akin na lang yun nuh!!?"- Vine.

"Tsk. I'm done here. I still need to finish a load of works."- I said and stand up and walks towards the door.

"Pahinga din minsan, my lady. Baka di mo na lang namamalayan. Matanda ka na at uugod-ugod na. Ni hindi ka pa nagkakaasawa at nagkakaanak. You need an heir you know? Para naman may magmana sa mga maiiwan mong kayaman. Hahaha."- Vine said laughing while the others tease me. Tsk. What the hell?!.. . I just ignore them and leave the bar. I walk straight to my car and drive home.

There's one more too. But she's not here tonight for it is their honeymoon with her newly wed husband.

She's JOSELLE LYNN ANDRADA- FERNANDEZ. 29 years old. JUST MARRIED. She owns Technology Company. One of the top Techno. Com. in the world. They produces latest and modernized gadgets and appliances. They even customize cars, even vintage or classic cars. Oh, not to mention houses.

Anyway, back to my problem. Tsk. How can I find a husband within 5 months? I don't know how and who? I don't even have guy friends. Acquaintance, yes, but being friendly with them, I don't. I just don't. I feel awkward every time I'm around boys. Tsk.

I fish out my phone from my blazer's pocket and dial my butler's number. A few rings and he answered it. But before he could answer I spoke.

"I need you to find me a suitable husband. Enough to present to the board."- I said coldly and without asking questions he said yes and I ended the call.

SEBASTIAN BLACK. 31 years old. My all around butler; personal assistant, body guard, driver, etc. I don't consider him as a friend but as a family. My older brother/ my protector. He's in Dubai right now. I let him go for the signing of contract for exporting/importing textile product.
