Chapter Two: The Contract

[HER POV]

"These are the profile for the husband for hire candidates. They are all artist, my lady. Their entertainment agency wants them to have a contract girlfriend---"

I asked him to find me a husband but he couldn't find one so he come up with the idea of advertising for a husband for hire but to only reliable people who can keep their mouth shut.

"Girlfriend? Sebastian, we're looking for a husband not a boyfriend"- I cut him off.

"Yes. And I talked to the agency president about it and she said that as long as the payment is good they don't mind letting them be a contract husband and as long as the gentlemen learns to love, care, and be responsible. And as long as we won't ruin their names since they are public figures."

"Did they talk to these gentlemen already?"- I asked. Well that can patch the problem, I guess. And I don't want hussle now.

"Yes, my lady."- He answered.

"Well then, let's settle the flow of the agreement before I flew to Mexico."- I said and we talked it thoroughly.

After the talked I packed my luggage and sleep for a few hours. Tomorrow morning at 3:00 am is my flight so I need to rest because it's already 9:45 pm.

[Third Person's POV]

"Settle down guys. Walang maingay. Uumpisahan na natin ang meeting."- Sabi ng SM Entertainment President na si Samantha Min.

Nagsi-upo naman ang lahat at natahimik. Hinihintay kung sino ang unang masasalita.

"Guys, alam niyo naman kung ano ang pag-uusapan natin ngayon di ba?"- Tanong ni Ms. President sa limang lalaki sa kanyang harapan. Tumango naman ang mga ito bilang pagsang-ayon.

"Hmmm...so sila pala yun? Not bad."

Komento ng isang dalagang nakaupo sa may kabilang bahagi ng kinauupuan ng mga kalalakihan matapos niyang pagmasdan at kilatisin ang mga ito.

Bigla namang nakaramdam ng panlalamig ang mga kalalakihan dahil sa malamig na boses nito at dahil na din sa matamang tingin ng iba pang mga kababaihan na kasama nila.

Apat na dalaga ang nakaupo at may kanya-kanyang butler na nakatayo sa likod nila at pormal na nakatayo. Habang sa harapan nila ay limang lalaking nakaupo at nakikinig sa pag-uusapan.

Sumenyas ang isang dalaga kaya agad namang sumunod ang mga butler nila at may iniabot sa mga binatang nasa harapan nila.

"Folder yan na naglalaman ng tungkol sa amin. Basahin niyo na lang kapag nakauwi na kayo. By the way, the name is Aria Shie. Call me Aria. That girl is Mara Dhy."- Ani ni Aria sabay turo kay Mara na siyang unang nagsalita kanina.

"That one is Dunya. Dunya Aira."- Sabay turo kay Yam na katabi lamang ni Mara sa kanyang kanan.

"And this one is Justhine Ylana."- Sabay tapik sa balikat ng dalagang nakaupo sa kaliwa niya.

"And these boys behind us is our butlers. Jonas, Silver, Lim, Jim and Ging."- Sabay turo sa mga butler na nakatayo sa likuran nila. Yumukod ng bahagya ang mga butler bilang paggalang.

"H-hello."- Kinakabahang bati ng limang binata. Hindi man halata pero apektado silang lima sa malakas na presensya ng mga dalaga sa harap nila.

"Supposedly, the ladies here should be 5 of them but the other one, which is my master, is out of the country for now. She's in Mexico so she can't come. By the way, I'm Sebastian her butler. And I'm here to take her place instead, with her consent. Let's go to the contract. The contract's availability is within 3 years. And after the contract you'll receive a separation fee, of course. Each one of the ladies here has their own separation fee for the contract. They'll be the one to discuss you that. As for the ladies, I believe you have already selected who among these gentlemen here is for you."- Ani ni Sebastian at tumango lamang ang mga dalaga.

"Let's move to the conditions. Gentlemen, the condition of the contract for had been discussed to you by your agency president which you agreed, I believe? You will need these ladies for you to learn how to love, care, and be responsible. It will also serves as your training for your acting skills. By this, you can apply it to your work. As for the ladies, you gentlemen will give them a heir.—"- Naputol sa pagsasalita si Sebastian nang biglang magreact ang mga binata.

"Ano?? Teka lang naman! Bakit kailangan naming silang bigyan ng anak? Wala sa napag-usapan namin ni ms. President. Ang sabi asawa lang walang anak."- Naguguluhang tanong ng isang binata at saka tumingin sa Presidente nila pero nag-iwas lamang ito ng tingin.

"As I said, the ladies have their own condition for the separation fee and it is related to giving them an heir. Which is they will discuss to you later."- Sagot ni Sebastian kaya nanahimik na lang muna ang mga binata.

"The condition goes like this. In the span of 3 years, the gentlemen will have the access to the ladies rights, and everything that concerns them. The gentlemen will have an open access to the ladies accounts, moneys and properties. You will have the right to use their name for any of your transactions as long as it will not ruin their reputation. Same goes for the ladies. You will have the rights to access on the gentlemen's rights and everything that concerns them. Open access to the gentlemen's accounts, money and properties and of course the use of their names as long as it will not ruin their reputation also. Before you react again please let me finish first of what I am saying."- Sabi ni Sebastian ng makitang magrereact na naman sana ang mga lalaki kaya muli silang natahimik.

Samantalang tahimik lamang ang mga dalaga dahil alam na naman nila ang sinasabi ni Sebastian at sumang-ayon naman sila.

Kung bakit pati sila ay nasa husband for hire na pakana ni Sebastian na sinang-ayunan ni Gee ay dahil trip lang nila. Oo, trip lang nila tsaka tinatamad silang maghanap pa. Yun ang sabi nila.

"I'll continue, in the span of 3years and if anything happens to the ladies and it brought them to death, the gentlemen will receive the separation fee a year after the lady's death. IF it is proven accident or natural death. BUT, IF it is proven that the gentlemen has a connection of the lady's death, the gentlemen will FORCE to pay a MILLION U.S. DOLLAR."- Napanganga naman ang mga binata sa narinig at magsasalita na sana sila ngunit agad silang tinignan ng masama ng kanilang Presidente kaya muli silang natahimik.

"And as for the gentlemen, with in the span of 3 years and if anything happens to the gentlemen and it brought them to death, the ladies will NOT get anything in return. In fact they will FORCE to give the separation fee in the gentlemen's family PLUS a MILLION U.S. DOLLAR. IF or IF NOT had a connection to the gentlemen's death. In short, if you die the ladies will not get anything from you, as long as you've given them already what they want, which is their heir. That's their only concern."- Muling natameme ang mga nga binata sa narinig.

"Another condition of the contract is; in the span of 3years and both parties HAD fallen in love to each other the condition of the contract will be void and both parties will be FORCE to continue the contract in a lifetime. That's all. . ."- Pagtatapos ni Sebastian sa paliwanag niya. Ngunit ipinaliwanag padin niya ang huling condition sa mga nagtatakang mukha ng lahat.

"Maybe you're asking why I have the last condition, right? It's because we know that it's not impossible that you might fall for each other so my lady added the last condition. The last condition is from my lady. She already taken an action before it's too late to regret. Because she knows that it's impossible to avoid if destiny takes action. Though my lady is not a romantic one she still proposed the last condition."- Mahabang litanya ni Sebastian sa mga naguguluhang mukha ng mga kaharap niya.

Palihim na lamang siyang ngumiti ng wala sa sariling tumango ang mga ito habang malawak naman ang ngiti ng Company President sa narinig.

Of course, alam niyang pwedeng mahulog ang mga alaga niya sa mga dalaga dahil bukod sa magaganda sila ay mababait ang mga ito na tanging iilan lang at mga taong mahahalaga lamang sakanila ang nakakaalam.

Pilit pa ding iniintindi ng mga binata ang mga sinabi sa kanila ni Sebastian. Dahil kung iisiping mabuti, pabor sa kanila ang mga kondisyon. Walang makukuha sa kanila ang mga dalaga maliban sa anak na ibibigay nila.

"Okay, ladies, say your condition for the separation fee. And gentlemen, after hearing their condition we will still give you a week to think about it thoroughly. We will not force you to do the contract. It is still your decision if you take it or not."- Sabi ni Sebastian saka siya yumukod ng konti para sabihing pwede nang magsalita ang mga dalaga.
